TRAFFIC MADE IN LAGOS!

Sometimes, you do feel that your thought sits besides you and have a real conversation with you, just like the way every real couple do. Before a thought is been convened, a part of you had already had the imaginary conversation within you before you finally take that resolution of getting that thought fully implemented.


The relativity of human thought, opinion, ideas and views are sometimes said to be guided by the experience, knowledge, exposure and surrounded circumstances in the context where views and opinions were seek.


In a seemingly manner, without a proper evaluation of other views, relativity of thought; you might most likely not see properly. Apparently, it isn't the way you have an opinion and view about Lagos traffic others do, in that same traffic; that where someone's office is located and means of livelihood for many households.


In all of the stress, fatigue and drama experienced in the Lagos traffic; that's what the city strives on, the hustling and bustling spirit.

OCTOBER 20, 20:20.

Ohh! What a Compatriot day.

A day with a sequence digit: 02(Tuesday), 10(October), 2020.

A day where the scriptural text " The glory of the youth is in their strength" was heavily manifested in an appeal to plead and communicate the people displeasure through a peaceful protest for a change of unlawful and unjust treatment on it younger heroes.

The labour of the past heroes can never be forgotten, most especially in the display of peaceful protest that was age 14days before it was UNLAWFUL and UNDEMOCRATIC disbanded on October,20 20:20.

The "lazy youth" took responsibilities of tiding up the protest group even without a trace of a protest! What a display and demonstration of being peaceful and responsible.

October, 20, 20:20 before the hours 7pm, an evening of massacring in Lekki toll gate.

October, 20, 20:20 was and will forever be a compatriot day for Nigeria youth who lost their lives in the Lekki toll gate massacre.

#ENDSARS, #ENDSWAT and #ENDPOLICEBRUTALITY will forever remain in the history books of the Nation.

COMPATRIOT

O Compatriot! Let arise and not seat to watch all things completely fall apart.

We all had the green passport, even before having as much as the rainbow colour passports.

We have a home where we call our fatherland/motherland, our bearing from any point of the world.

We had all we needed for direction and avigation even before we became a republican state and had an home-made constitution; the content and the symbols of our Nation anthem, the Pledge and the Flag were and still has the core values stated to have a true home, Nigeria.

We can still recite the National anthem and imbibe those stated words.

We can still say the pledge as an oath and allow our conscience to serve as our judge if we go contrary to the words of our pledge, oath.

Dearly Compatriot, to be faith, loyal and honest is for you and I

To serve Nigeria with all my strength, isn't a mere statement

To defend her dignity and uphold her honour and glory is for posterity stake

We can still take our Flag to the peak where it really belongs, that place where it can be easily be seen from any part of the world as the true Giant of Africa.

A BIRTH NEW-DAY

Every morning is a new day

Yesterday ended last night, and delivered of today, this day

On this day: it might rain, snow drop, sun shine, wind blow or whatsoever but the day doesn't stop!

The most proudest thing on earth and maybe if it does exist in beyond; TIME!

So proud! It looks at you, smile and gives you a tick tock hand wave on per seconds billing

So many into one: seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years, that's time

So many people might say their time is money, while some will have it as their life, whichever way it maybe!

Money can't purchase yesterday, it can only give memories of days behind

Nobody can afford the past time, but can relieve the time yet to come

A travel to the past time is impossible, but lovely memories brings a life-time experience

Life, time and money are the trilogy of human existence

Dis Life No Balance!

See! Look at the wavelength, they're never on the same pedestal.

The rain doesn't fall as much as the sun shine.

There's silver-spoon, and also plastic-spoon.

There's life, and there's law.

There are entitlements, and there are privileges.

There's luck, and also fate, but sometimes serendipity does occurs.

There's "turn round table", and there's "table-shaking".

The best graduating student of a set holds a managerial position in one of the top big 5 firms, cool right? While the least graduating of the same set is a major shareholder of the same top big 5 firm.

We all are fortunate to be who we are.

Life has so many questions to answer! but while we all await the response to the monologue curiosity on the mind of many, but there's a reply!".

We weren't SU (scriptural-union) nor SO (street-oriented) but we were in-between both
We enjoyed our camaraderie and the Godly confraternity we created
Ohh friend! Did you remember our after school home movement of playing a 30 minutes 4-post football match?
Our every Friday vacation to the mami market in bonny camp military cantonment just to walk around because school close exactly 1:30pm
The memories of using our school bags to create a football post
Playing football on a particular street where the back of abandoned cars were used as our goal post
What about kolo beating football match?
Ohhh! What about the every last Saturday of the month football match on the street during environment sanitation
Uchenna, did you remember we using tooth-pick to hold our PS1 portable game for the disc to keeping rolling so that we can finish the league, did you also remember starting and ending a league within a day?
Akintunde, can you also recall the memories of game boy and super Mario, what about using "8877" code to play bounce game on nokia phones?
I can also vividly remember we deleting some flies on our nokia 2626 so that we have space for downloading PES on the phone because doesn't come with memory card slot, the memories of using infrared before bluetooth came in as new technology
What about creating a theme with our image(s) on our symbian phones for all icons? , what about free downloading with a specific IP on waptrick, wapdam and sefan.ru back then?
We created our team, we saw one and other grow like son - father relationship, but we were brothers!
After so many years, we've grown, and we're still very much in touch despite the distance, these memories will always be there even into the evenings of our lives after sprouting white hairs.
we rekindle those lovely memories in our heart with a smile and we look forward to experiencing it as a reincarnation in the next life, if any do exist.

She's a humanist! She deserves the fair and equal treatment the world can offer the human-race.

Nature has moulded her to be emotional, but shouldn't be considered weak.
She isn't acquired just like the way organisations are brought and sold by new management, she's a merger that has an equity in the company of her home.

She's educated, the nation get informed of not being ignorant!
It's high time we started to think that the girl child is a completion to human.

The vision is the new-normal

I think we've over hyped 2020 even before it came into existence, it's like a case of an expectant family doing a naming ceremony for a baby that's yet to be delivered.

Before this year came into existence, we decided to tag it "vision 2020" even long before we started the "2000". The journey so far seems to be very far from the envisaged vision.

Our tagged visionary year which is suppose to usher us into a new decade has changed it angular displacement of it motion, filter the mind of many and created some sort of shift in our thinking from normal to the new-normal.

The new-normal has gently replaced the vision 2020, and this may go on for several years and the whole vision might be somewhere hung in our mind just like the family picture that recall memories.

The new-normal wasn't envisaged, seen or speculated. All we saw was "the vision 2020", and it's like running an ultrasound scan on a pregnant woman to know the sex of the foetus, but unfortunately the foetus decided to cover it genital not until it's finally delivered of as a baby by the mother.

IN THE ILLNESS OF TIME

We lived at least in a more comfortable space in the time past

Introvert were social distancing, extrovert were social gathering

The time is ill, and it's on a life support on curfew

Classes are now on zoom

Parties are now memorable in our heart

Church is now done from home

Vacation is now in-house

Movement has a visiting hour, a visit to the hospital to see our patient, time.

All these because of the illness of time

The time is ill with a global pandemic that we might most likely live with just like malaria, typhoid and fever.

Life is fast spent in isolation.
The relativity of all human thought recognises that there's law and life.

While the year 2019 rolls out in a moment of days to come.

I'll be sharing my personal closed observation of 2019 in the creative industry to be precise.

MY CLOSED OBSERVATION

Creativity is the air hovering around looking for who to tap into the vibe wave of it belongingness.

For this space of time, I can't dispute the fact that being creative is spiritual and it's a transition from an existing vibe.

One of the reasons why you can't help but sing some songs so well with it lyrical content at it best is because of the undefined wave is SPIRITUAL.

We will be dedicating the first weekend writing series to the current xenophobic attack happening in south-africa and across all human dominated territory around the world.


Before we allow this unpleasantry moment to sleep-off our mind subconsciously. This short piece is based on personal life experience which could be a disapproval to anyone's thought because the human thought was divinely structured to be relative in nature.

I grew up listening to some many African songs and up till this very moment. Umqombothi by Yvonne chaka chaka is one of the my most sensational and striking cord song of all time from south-africa and not also forgetting the new millennium where I belong, Soweto choir and Ndlov youth choir.

The long walk to freedom movie by Nelson Mandela, Sarafina movie and midst of other movies that has overtime liberated the mind of so many Africans and guided their thought on governance, politics and leadership.

Xenophobia and all forms of foreigner attack isn't AFRICANA.

In exactly a week from now, there will a General Election throughout the Federation, political franchise will be exercised.
In that vein, our political Narrative and selection process can be changed into a more transparent and merited political system which will also trend in Good Value System has expected in a true Democratic Nation such as ours.
For these to be actualized, we all need to be engaged in one way or the other with one Plebiscite voice #SAY NO TO SELLING OF VOTES because a vote sold can not in any way assure us a good governance, let alone enjoying a true a merited Democratic system. Enough of Grammars, for a vote sold is like selling your Bakery to buy a slice of Bread.

It’s another season of ASUU strike, some of us may want to call it a “Festivity” to be best of our knowledge, such Festivity as ASUU seems to be an Unpredictable one; but before a successful completion of an academic program, a glimpse of ASUU will always surface and Federal Government will be featured. In fact, some of us are said to be “very lucky” because from time immemorial this festivity can go as long as 3-9months.
Education has become a pronged negotiation in this part of the world, for those in Government Tertiary Institutions there’s always an “X” to the Numbers of years you will spend in school and the “X” is always unknown just as the way you were taught in Mathematics from Elementary days.
Am very sure those at the Helm of Affairs are aware that seconds are running into minutes, hours, days, weeks and if nothing is done soonest it will be month(s), while so many students are left with nothing but “Boredom” and “Idleness” and chances of resuming a new academic session isn’t crystal clear and assured because of the Election which is few days away.
In the same vein, this compulsory stay at home is now becoming a job on it own because of the media platform isn’t giving a good feedback and listening to NEWS at the top of every Hour is more than job hunting. In midst of that, issues are now becoming a preparatory World War lll “who is washing the plate this week”, “who is running the errand”, who is sweeping the floor” amongst unspeakable things. This Un- celebrated Festivity is now discharging a lot of vexations.
