Recently i have been under lots of pressure from friends and family asking me to try and get a visa to leave the country, but i have declined

i understand that things are not well organised in this country but travelling out to me is like putting yourself in an uncertain situation , you don't even know what to expect when you get there

The most annoying for me is the fear of being denied a visa again after trying some years back

I will prefer to rather put my money into a small business here in Nigeria no matter how small and try to grow from there

At least i know some people that have travelled out of the country for years and when ever they come back home they still cant afford a house of their own, they stay with relatives that has never even been to Ghana before

What is your opinion on these nairalanders

My brother travel , intact run if you have the opportunity, don't mind these bastard enemy of progress abroad,they don't want us to come over so they can enjoy alone.Dont listen to them.

pls house, i got my grant last week and school resumes 17th of july which is pretty close for me . i opted for deferment for next semester from the school but i was told that they will cancel my VISA for bridge of visa cos my COE is tied to the visa. If i insist to defer , they will offer me another COE while i applied for another visa. Now im confused cos on daily basis visa tends to be more dificult for Nigerians and i wouldnt know wat next few months will turn out to be. Pls Guru in house i need ypur advice plssssssssss.

Buy you ticket and leave , you don't know what God has done for you , lots of people are still waiting for visa while their course has already started , my program starts on the 17th too, I would gladly leave even if am offered visa the week after

Not entirely true. Granted the occupation is not on the SOL list, a few states like NT and ACT (I think) still sponsor it. In regards to demand, depending on where you are, demand varies but it is not as bad as you make it sound.

NT requires u have at least A$35000 before you apply for nomination, You also need to stay for ACT for at least 6 months and a job offer before ACT nominates you, so you see me brother , it is hard

you would have to write a couple of qualification exams to be a pharmacist in canada, same with US.You best option is either undergo postgraduate studies in canada, then find you way after the program or stay back in Nigeria and hope for the best

It's hard for pharmacist to migrate to Australia through PR, the occupation is not in demand , there are lots of Australia pharmacist without jobs

Lol you all will get yours soonest. Airport was fine, no issues in Lagos airport. Went on a 7 hour flight to Dubai, had a four hour stop over. Left Dubai for Sydney(13hour flight), DIBP at Sydney asked for my yellow card and they asked if I carried anything prohibited and I said no and that was it. Waited for a five hour stop over and left sydney for Wagga Wagga.
Visa grants will roll in this week by his grace. Amen, remember stay hopeful

I thought I was rejected already cos I was losing hope day by day. Thank God for his grace.
