Very good job being done here. Apart from getting info from universities' websites and DIBP, I've learnt a lot from the real life experiences shared here since I stumbled on this thread last month. Well done everyone.

JCU Brisbane, March 2018, MPA on my mind. Did IELTS in July, passed, got admission 31st Aug, waiting to pay tuition this month/early Oct, get my eCoE, do the medicals in Nov and apply for the visa proper in Dec.

I'm just taking everything a step at a time, each step, carefully, cos for me, thinking of the whole process at once can cause headache and might even make one want to start doubting if it can be possible.

This Australian Study Visa application needs time, peace of mind, patience and strategy. I no know anytin o - just my 2kobo advice to those of us still waiting to apply.

Above all, may God crown all our efforts with favour and success, AMEN.

it might be better for you if you apply for the visa earlier than december, a lot of us that applied since June have been waiting for visa for close to 4 months now, just a thought . All the best

Religion / Re: OPINION!! A Worker Is Not Suppose To Put Below 1,000 Naira In An Offering Box... by noscarn91(m): 11:04am On Sep 10, 2017
Saintsammurai:
SO many NIGERIA christians are with these mindset of going to church with any amount of cash in their their hands..to use for offering....AS a worker or as an employed human, that receives monthly salaries,, And as a true and a non hypocritical christian, you should be able to put nothing below 1,000 naira every sunday in the offering box. "You cannot spend thousands on drinks, food and recharge cards, including dstv and go tv subscriptions, etc.. without setting outside nothing less than Four thousand naira for the four sundays in a month, just to use as an offering, "note" "this is excluding "tithe" "Putting 100 naira, 500 naira, 50 naira in an offering box shows disrespect and disregard for GOD almighty, for he deserv much more than that.....WE dont have to be christians by mouth making, we need to show it too with our money....i hope you all change for the glory of GOD.
You are the reason these yahoo boy pastors are living luxurious lives with private jet ,expensive SUV and big mansions while you struggle with life with the meagre salary your boring 9-5 job brings, continue fuelling their ministry, sheeple.

Hello Nairalanders,

Already 3 weeks today, my house was burgled while I was fast asleep (most people say Na jazz) . To my utmost dismay, I woke up to realize that my newly bought smart TV of not more Dan 2weeks old was carted away by the unknown men along side my phones and some money.

I was told I could use the IMEI of one of the phones to track other items stolen but I don't just know how. I have reported to the NPF but I haven't heard anything from them yet. To the ICT gurus in the house, Pls is there anything I can do from my own part Pls?

You should be thankful , at least they didn't rape you , with that body of yours that's a miracle

Hello all

It is hard to believe that someone that intend to study in a developed country will be asking questions like

How do I apply for admission ?

What is the address of the embassy ?

What are the requirement for admission ?

What is the website of Australia embassy ?

List of schools in Australia ?

These are simple straightforward questions that has been answered already numerous times on this thread even if you are too lazy to use Google.

All the Schools websites are on Google and their website are very straightforward with steps and admission procedure.

The Australia immigration website is also simple with checklists, procedures and steps.

You have no business studying abroad if you can't do simple research to get answers to simple questions.

Well said bro , people are too lazy these days , if you can't do a simple google search , how can you possibly write a good thesis to satisfy the requirements of your program , it's a pity.

He got 4 masters and a phd, having studied in Nigeria, Sweden, Canada and the US.

He has been lecturing in UNN. He travels to the States during weekends.

I often wonder why came back to Nigeria Instead of settling down over there.

Could anyone give a reason?
4 masters degree ?

Wow, the information right here is golden.

I think you meant 350 a month for the accomodation, i was planning on getting a campus acomodation but everyone i know have advised against that saying it would be too expensive so i think i would just go for this.

I would definitely carry out my research on the temp jobs and places you listed.

Thank you very much and i hope you wouldn't mind if i contact you later on in the event i need your advice on somethings.

OK RGU isn't up North. grin
Aiye , both university of abedeen and RGU are in aberdeen , aberdeen to the best of my knowledge is a multicultural city with lots of businesses and opportunities . Northern Scotland on the otherhand is almost rural and occupied by mainly Scottish folks with fishing and agricultural as their main occupation. Did you attend or intend to attend any university in Scotland ?

A week or a month?

I don't think that is entirely true, not all Nigerian girls are there for your money, many are actually responsible and sensible.
Per month, my opinion abt those girls is personal , all the best

July 6th - Applied online.

July 10th - Data capture and interview

July 11th- Email from tls indicating that my application has been submitted

July 19th- Email from sheffield

August 18th - I checked the ukvi tracking website and application had been decided on

August 21st - tls sent me a decision mail and a pick up mail

August 22 - i picked up my approved passport

Much thanks to everyone that has ever contributed positively to this thread, your ideas, tips and generous suggestions is everything needed for a successful application.

I wish everyone still awaiting a decision a positive response.

P.S Is there anyone attending R.G.U this september ??
Congratulations my brother , Scotland is a beautiful place , very cold but you would get use to it , beautiful girls too , you might want to check out espionage night club on union street , if you into girls , the pittodre stadium is always recruiting but you only work like 3 times in a month at least you can manage that before you get a steady guy, if you interested you can send your cv to Ryan.Candy@sodexo.com .
For a better paying job , care companies like paramount care and inspire care might be hiring , just do your research.
There is also an African shop on George street not too expensive , there are also cheap accomodation on George street as well in the range of £350 per week. Try and get a monthly and weekly bus pass from first bus if you intend to move around but if you are aka-fun and like trekking all the best .
I advise you to have fun , 1 year is very short , travel if you can afford it , make new friends , Scottish girls are very friendly if you lucky you might get a white babe , pls avoid Nigerian girls by all means , they would chop u and waste you time .
