Men of God or gods of man |
So...is this for our information or guidance. Truth be told.....so many married people engage in extra marital affairs...It cuts across age, sex, financial strata, etc |
Carry her bag then what next .....go to the market to buy ingredients for her soup then go to do her laundry. ....et al. please jare ....go on with your life. Unfortunately, this is Nigeria where the employer can hire and fire at will. Our labour laws just don't work...... |
The President elect, General Buhari and Vice President, Pastor Yemi Osibanjo ran under the platform of the APC. For as many of us who voted for the incumbent, those who voted the opposition, those who neither voted nor got registered, we all have a COLLECTIVE responsibility to make this government work for the interest of the masses. First step, is for us all to take a look again at the APC manifesto to remind us of the promises made. I implore all APC representatives to join in this discussion. I also request we look beyond the celebration and set to work to put our beloved Nigeria back on the right track. |
Hahahahahahahahahaha. ......Hajia Bola Shagaya friend of all first ladies ..... She can chose to become best friends with her....Come 2019, if GMB doesn't perform, WE will vote him out. |
It is time we all put hands together to rebuild our nation. Jonathan was the architect of his own fortune.....He chose the select rich over the masses that voted him in. He chose to distribute cash to secure his return instead of letting his works speak for him. His body language somewhat condoned corruption. He chose to practice politics of tribe and region. Lesson Learnt- The president of Nigerian doesn't belong to any tribe or region. I look forward to a president who spends 3 months ruling from Lagos, then 3 months in Aba, then 3 months in Benin, 3 months in Calabar , 3 months in Oturkpo, etc... |
Thank You Lord for Peace in Nigeria |

@TLOTRS I particularly admire your guts against such comments. Often times, it is the silence and oversight of us all that negatively affects us all in the end. |
@pchax, please how did you send hard copies to UWindsor during the application process. ...was it EMS or NIPOST? |
Officially applied online to University of Windsor for Fall 2015..Graduate studies. Hard copy of transcript already requested to be sent from 9ja to Canada. I intend sending soft copies of requested documents tomorrow so processing can commence. I believe God for a positive result soonest. May our efforts and finances be crowned with resounding success AMEN. |
@charles009, Howdy, I trust you are faring okay. As much as possible, I know you must now plan what is the next step you may be willing to take. I pray you TO COMPLETELY hold no grudges against anyone, it just is not worth it. I also advise you to identify a support group at this time....It could be family, a trust worthy friend, a mentor, a counselor in church, etc Just someone to reassure you of God's promises and purpose for you life. This person will also prayerfully encourage you along the way. Avoid any largesse spending, dependent friend, etc. Wishing you all the best . |
@SiSiNini To say it is very wrong for anyone to resign especially when you are not in that person's shoes may be too extreme. I personally believe that I rather not work for any organization than work for a double standard Window dressing organization. The mentality that we must work and do things against what is ethical and professional is the major reason the average employee worth in Nigeria is very low. So we believe we must sleep with bosses, lie, cook books, et al for fear of been unemployed , and the reality that a million other people will be willing to do such in our stead. This is the reason why we have the leaders we have today in Nigeria, our leaders are simply a mirror image of we th citizens. |
@kingjoo We fail to realise that for us to effectively change here in Nigeria. ...It must start from individual re - orientation then to the family before it can effectively reflect in our society. Trust me our corporate environment is not favorable to persons of integrity. At the moment I know so many people who have had to migrate out of the country because our society doesn't seem to reward INTEGRITY. For those who doubt, I put it out for any one to mention any integrity based private company operating in Nigeria. |
Sacked on what grounds or basis please......was it performance based or just restructuring. .. |
From personal experience, I have also had to resign from jobs based on integrity issues .....I had worked where massive cooking of corporate books was carried out. Looking back, do I regret my decision,? Not at all oh....yea financially I had to go on personal structural adjustment program, however, I have a clear conscience. ...you know that inner feeling of peace.. |
Front page things oh......make I park well |
Things fall Apart....by Chinua Achebe Okonkwo the brave hero shouldn't have committed suicide.....or at least we could have a sequel Things |
SavageGarden:I had already finished doing my business there before they informed me that the toilet was not for Nigerians. Nothing much I could do honestly as the members of staff didn't have a problem with it. |
all4naija:You sound like you have not worked in Nigeria in recent times....I may be wrong but when I hear you say human rights section.... |
I intend starting up an indigenous honey retail business. I am looking forward to connecting with suppliers of honey. Similarly others already in this business could provide their advice on this thread. |
I often wonder , IS RELIGION A CURSE TO US IN NIGERIA? No doubt we have so many 'spiritual leaders' who command respect outside the shores....but right here in Nigeria no tremendous impact. |
We as a people have chosen to close our eyes to how some of these people treat us here in Nigeria. I once visited an Indian run company where they separate the toilets for Nigerians and Indians. Indeed, we are tolerant people. |
The question is IS SEPP BLATTER BEATABLE? front page material |
