I got the shock of my life when my fiancee told me that after our wedding she will still retain her surname.
I was surprise because I neva tot that it will be a bone of contention. A lot of africAn ladies are taking to western culture and that is y the rate of divorce is on d increase in africa.

One thing u must know about training children is that the way u handle the 1st we determine how the others will live. Yorubas adage says, it is the horse in front that the ones behind look at to run.
Is it spiritual? It might but that really isn't the issue here. A lot of parent dont train their children in the way of the Lord. They don't hv time for their children and another issue is that children really don't follow wat u tell them but wat u are doing.
So the parents or u can not be having extra marital affairs or premaritial affair as the case maybe and u expect them not to follow ur steps.

Children most times reflect how the parents or people around them are living their lives.( the statement; who cares has done a lot of harm to our society)
They always reflect if u create time or not by the way they live.

@ajanlekoko: I hv tried on several occassions to do away wit the idea of returning to agriculture, but it keeps resurfacing.
after my ND program, I tot with my upper credit I could along the line develop interest for computer( because actually it wasn't my idea ). but somehow, after like 11 years in d field I am still not fulfil, and my drive is low.
I know that the field is lucrative but it just look as if is not my thing.

I am 29 years of age, I graduate of computer science(ND and Bsc) and I finished with 2.1 .
when I was in ss 2, I actually wanted to study agricultural science but I was discourage.
I am now doing a computer related job but I still feel like return to school to study agric. what is ur advice?

I really don't like it when christians can't pick up the bible and study for themselves. I hate to hear Christians say my pastor says, my bishop says..., Father says..., etc, without them checking in the scripture if it is right or wrong. they leave out wat God says and wat the scripture says as if their pastor knows beta than the scripture or God.

@Roland: these are philosophy and emotional talk. U don't use emotion or human philosophy to interpret the scriptures.

1. Where is it written in the scripture that christians should honour MAry.

2. Did the disciples honour mary before and after the death of Jesus.

See, Jesus, himself did not even mention Mary while he was teaching the disciple and the multitude. his concern was the father,the kingdom and the unsaved world. She was just a privilege woman

My problem is that a lot of ppl join organisation without asking questions, when u start asking questions then u are sure to get the truth.

I can see a big blunder in here, a lot of person here doesn't know the meaning of mediator. If a pray for someone that doesn't make me a mediator; I am an intercessor. But who do I go thru to get answer is the mediator.
And if u study your bible, Jesus is our mediator and there is no scriptural backing to prove that any of the late saint should be begged or asked to intercess for us.
The scripture say watsoever two of us we agree on EARTH. And not heaven and earth.
