Romance › Re: Why Are Most Nigerians Guys Feeling Reluctant To Marry? by Nosu(m): 10:40pm On Jul 03, 2006
all lot of factors are responsible for this. they include;

1. the economy situation of the country. l think it is wise for the guy to get every thing set before going into marriage.
2. the working environment. some guys are just too busy that they don't see nice chics went they pass by. they leave home very early and return very late at nite.
3. some don't just believe in marriage, reasoning be that they hv messed around with a lot of gals that they don't see any reasons to trust and love them because they hv had enough for either free or at very cheap rate. so they see ladies as bitches.
4. Some can't just trust a ladies, because they have had bad expriences that they can never forget. so any time they remember that they tried to avoid them or harm any they come in contact with. so they can no longer love.

Life response to deligent. a man that is diligent in his work with sit with kings and not mean men.
Note this, diligent in his work, that is what he loves doing and not what majority loves doing.

Education › Re: New Education System In Nigeria: 9-3-4 by Nosu(m): 12:11am On Jul 02, 2006
it is a pity. we don't spent time solvin our problem but modifyin our problem. iis it the education system that his the problem of the standard of the system.instead of them to spent time renew the ancient school curiculum, proving the standard of living of the teachers andgettin qualify teachers into the system, they are chsnging the system.
it is just like a debtor that has be use to wearin buba, now start wearin suit so that his creditor doesn't recognise him. so u can see hw foolish the process is.
Education › Re: Would You Help Your Children To Cheat In Exams? by Nosu(m): 11:54pm On Jul 01, 2006
A big NO to that.
Exam malpratice is most time cause by the parent. whoa! let me tell u some of the things l hv planned to do for my kids. The biggest room in my hose will be a library where l and my kids will read together about 4 hrs at night, week days and about 6 hrs weekend. l met a friend at school, which l envy so much, he seldom reads in the afternoon but read all nite. he changes his position from time to time, so that he doesn't sleep. sometime he is sittin, another time he is standing and another time he is on his knee, he finshed with a grade very close to destinction.
So it all about the way u train ur child.Get this right, no child is dull, he just the parent that make them mentally lazy. the more u get questions for, the more they get lazy. so it is all about upbringin.
Education › Re: Info On Agricultural Engineering by Nosu(m): 11:33pm On Jul 01, 2006
Agric enginerring is a branch of agric that deals with the construction and maintenance of agic machinery. l think is even beta to study animal agric or crop productn than studing this. how many notable farm do will hv in nija that need an agric enginer, hw many of them even uses sophisticate machine.
so as egenash has said is beta u choice another area of engineering that if u are capable of studyin engineerin.
Education › Re: Is There Much For A Mathematics Major In Nigeria? by Nosu(m): 11:15pm On Jul 01, 2006
@yemstar - pls don't let anyone put u off. mathematics is a very nice course that prepare u for the real world. mathematics makes u adapt to any working environment. u can work in a bank, telecoms, IT firm, engineering firm etc. Mathematics is link with a lot of field e.g computer, engeering, etc
What u major in at the end of the day will determine where u can work. if it is statistics, u can be a data adminstrator, u will just need to be very good at using Oracle, if u major in mechanics u are goin toward enginnering .

Mathematics is a very wide and interesting course which a lot of ppl are ignore of. let me give a friend's exprience. he wanted to read elect/elect at Ife but he was given Maths, he acceptd it, thinkin that after he will change . after his first year he decided he will stick to maths not because he had a bad result, he had a 1st class but because he now saw the relevant of mathematics to our daily life.

U will just need to complement it with something to make u more marketable.

E.G looking at being a data administrator, add oracle to ur maths. note u will not just do math at school, u will also do a lot of programme.

lookin at workin in a bank add ICAN to IT. IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THAT.

Go for what ur heart desire. l lot of ppl are pilot today regardless of the risk.it is a thing of passion. u hv the passion for maths, that passion will make u stand out.

Family › Re: Friendship Or Lovers by Nosu(m): 10:09pm On Jun 15, 2006
this one is simply, u can't be in love with a married man , u are in lust. he also doesn't love u , he just want to get the better part of us and send u packing , just like sucking the nectar out of a flower.

if u are in his wife's shoe will u be happy for another woman to share ur husband. because what a man sow that what he/she will reap in multiple fold.

l believe there are a lot of better single man running after u is just that u don't want to acknowledge them. Flew from lust, it will cause u pain .

Family › Re: What Lies Did Your Parents tell You About Were The Babies Come From by Nosu(m): 8:51pm On Jun 15, 2006
l never asked my parent. l got to know that in primary school, when a friend of mine asked our teacher in private. she only smile and told him that he is a bad child. so she then asked my friend to confirm if he knows the answer, when the guy said it codely, she burst into laughter which confirmed that he was right. so that was how l got to know which was later confirmed by my Biology teacher and my modern biolgy textbook in secondary school.
