Ochason: I met my ex husband at the market while trying to get soup ingredient. He assisted in picking few things and we later exchanged numbers. We started with being friends and I believed he was a nice guy and so I started going to his place, he would also visit me and from there everything went well and we got married after 8 months. Before we got married we had a little Issue. We were at an hotel that day having some time out beside the swimming pool when he proposed to me publicly. After about a month of getting myself, I had to go back to him and apologize of which he accepted me and we then got married. After about 3 months of marriage, my husband changed from the sweet loving man I knew to a woman beater. I was shocked but I endured it hoping he will change but it was obvious he wasn’t planning to change and so I started planning to move out. But after about 6months of marriage I became pregnant and so could not pack out of his house anymore but had to endure the beating even during pregnancy. One night I had to summon courage and asked my husband what my offence was for him to be treating me like trash and he said because I publicly declined his proposal. I was so shocked and thought he was joking but I still apologized once again. He accepted the apology but still moved on with the beatings. One day he beat me so badly that I started bleeding, obviously it was a miscarriage. I couldn’t tell anyone so I flushed my stomach quietly. After I flushed my stomach he begged me for forgiveness and then gave me a shocker by asking me to leave his house that his revenge on me was over. That night he actually came in with another lady and two Lovely kids which he claimed was his and that was his wife. People have been advising me to revenge, while others has been saying I was at fault for trusting him and being so cheap. Please advise me I really want to know if truly I was at fault? Because right now I am on the look out for assassins who can delete him for me.

FORMER Deputy National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olabode George, has blasted former governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, for saying that Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State will lose the forthcoming governorship election.
Fayose, in an interview on Plustv Africa, had said that despite being a PDP member, he will not support Governor Obaseki’s re-election bid.

Here is the moment showing how a little baby genuinely raise the kitchen gate purchased by her mother to prevent her baby from going to the kitchen when she is not around and the little baby does this.
In the video, the baby genuinely raise the gate to pass and then he checked the water in the sac to see if it's interested before going to the drawer to get its apple sauce.
This is a very bright child and he is also well mannered. I love how he made sure the drawer was all the way closed and the gate was let all the way down both times.
He threw the apple sauce over the gate because holding it while lifting it would be too much work and he then put the gate back in place.
He didn't seem to actually see where the snack landed after he threw it, yet he went right to it. He also went to the side of the stand to reach under. How the hell did he know to do that? Like how did he know he'd have a better reach from the side as opposed to the front?!

Hashimyussufamao: Death Sentence For Blasphemy At Kano: A Perspective by O. G. Chukkol
I have been following arguments on social media for the past two days about the death sentence passed on one Yahaya Aminu Sheriff for blasphemy (insulting prophet Mohammed PBH) at Kano.
Let me make few observations here:
1. There is actually a Shariah Penal Code law in Kano state
2. The said Shariah Penal Code makes provision for offences and punishments recognized in Islam
3. The Shariah Penal Code Law prohibits blasphemy and a violator risks death sentence. See section section 382 thereof.
4. The Shariah Penal Code Law of Kano applies to Muslims only
5. The Shariah Penal Code Law of Kano does not apply to non Muslims. So a Christian or any other non Muslim cannot be prosecuted under the law except if he consents to it
6. Sheriff was tried and convicted under the Shariah Penal Code Law because he was a Muslim.
7. Sheriff has the right to appeal to a higher court for his conviction to be reviewed or set aside if the trial court was wrong.
8. Governor of Kano State has the final say on Sheriff's conviction. He can pardon Sheriff and allow him go free or change the punishment or sign death warrant for Sheriff to be executed/killed as ordered by court
9. A non Muslim who insults prophet Mohammed or commits any other form of blasphemy can at best be tried under the general Penal Code law for defamation or breach of public peace or any other related offence depending on exactly what the person says
In view of the foregoing, I will completely refrain from commenting on the appropriateness of death sentence for blasphemy because it is an Islamic injunction entrenched in a written law. Besides, I may not even be objective about it because I am not a Muslim, but a Christian. I will only end up pouring my sentiment in the guise of criticism. To me, is not even logical to use my religion to condemn another religion.
I submit further, for the purpose of emphasis, that the offence of blasphemy applies to Muslims only and they are in support of it. They are comfortable with it because their religion provides for it. I cannot take panadol for somebody's headache
Had it been the offence applies to non Muslims also, I would have immediately condemned it for being unconstitutional.
It should be noted that the Shariah Penal Code was enacted pursuant to section 38 of the constitution which provides for right to freedom of religion and sections 4 and 6 of the constitution which gives states power to make laws and also establish courts for themselves and also section 36(12) which provides that person can be convicted for an offence only if the said offence is defined in a written law with sanctions attached.
That is to say, the Supreme Law of the land has given them backing. They can practice their religion provided that a non Muslim shall not be affected
Let me drop my pen here. Everything I put down here is strictly my opinion and I may be wrong.
