dustmalik: This is one of the most absurd things I have heard this week. How could the PSC appoint someone who has been ranting all over the place, someone who is clearly partisan and has shown clear disdain and hate against one of the leading candidates for the upcoming elections? How could the PSC appoint such person to monitor the conduct of security officials during the elections? This is someone who has made it clear that she is supporting Atiku.
Indeed, it's obvious that the cabal will stop at nothing to sabotage Tinubu, but he will surely come out victorious Hahaha |

sarrki: NIGERIA UPDATE: ABC of Currency Redesign vs. XYZ of Cash Confiscation Explained:
1) Currency redesign was approved by the President and announced. Currency recoloring resulted.
(2) Currency swap was envisaged by section 20(3) of the Central Bank of Nigeria Act 2007 as approved by the President. Swap means I take N100,000 to the bank in old notes and I receive N100,000 immediately in new notes. No more, no less.
(3) During implementation of the cash swap, the CBN withdrew over N2 trillion from circulation but printed only N400 billion, so in effect,
(4) Currency confiscation was then unilaterally and unlawfully implemented by the CBN. Trade and exchange gas collapsed. Human suffering, impoverishment and economic contraction resulted.
(5) The policy objective was derailed into a deliberate national fiasco to sabotage the elections in the name of preventing vote-buying. All efforts to get CBN to implement what was lawfully approved failed.
(6) Some State Governments had no choice but to approach the Supreme Court for adjudication. The APC as a party and the Progressive Governors Forum are unanimous that policy implementation must be reviewed, and
(7) Full compliance of the subsisting ruling of the Supreme Court be observed until final judgment on the suit instituted by the State Governments. How come you left campaigning for Tinubu to be fighting Naira swap? Why this naira swap pain una like this? |

Na Kwankwaso una put for other so? God will not forgive this midget.
Obi is social media candidate Obi cannot win his polling unit. Obi cannot win Anambra Obi will only win Anambra Obi will not get more than 200k votes Obi will not get more than 2m votes
Now....Obi will get 27% of votes which translates to roughly 20m votes if 75m Nigerians vote.
With this i move a motion to support the OP's comment. If El-Rufai can give Obi a total of 27% then Obi is definitely winning this election.
Congrats to all sane Nigerians for the New Nigeria We are about to birth. It's about time to do away with these mad people and their urchins. |

since you say it is awkward to transfer, cant you now put yourself in the shoes of millions? in nigeria today, how many have that 2k cash to do petty transactions? are you aware that people are begging for as little as 100naira? i saw a lady today take ATM to aboki to buy tomatoes because she didnt have cash. wetin concern aboki tomatoes with POS? Highlighted in your statement above: "Most hit hard" are those without electronic form of payment. The least hit hard are those with forms of electronic payment.Everyone is affected but in varying degrees. The aboki you spoke about should go and get registered in the banking system. The lady who sells groundnut to me didn't have any form of electronic baking. She had to plead with an establishment beside her to use an account there. She had unresolved NIN issues and couldn't open an account. She abandoned it and continued with her business until now that she has to go back to resolve it. A tout at the Lagos Airport had an account which I transferred 3k to him for his services. He is not as affected as someone without any account/POS machine. |
