how did the governors mop up all the new notes? so you mean across 36 states and abuja, governors mopped up all the money in banks in the various states? pls explain how that is possible. if you could say that supreme court enforces laws, then theres no limit to your imagination
I set a trap for him and needed him to admit it. He was smart enough not to concur.

Really!?
As if money cannot be transferred to your account for election inducement
Transfered money can be traced. That's why politicians will fight this to the last. One reason it's easy to steal money in Nigeria is because a lot of the monies cannot be traced.

After all these sufferings, if that social media president doesn't win the forth coming election, it'll be double whammy for his supporters.
I think not. Most people in Lekki get their stuff from shoprite or other exquisite locations. Most traders already use transfers and POS for donkey years now.

People who were hit hard by this are those that have been living and doing business in Nigeria without bank biometric verification.

I can't remember when last I needed cash except to board Keke or give to someone and thats because it was awkward to transfer 2k.

Lol. Maybe you're right. Maybe the governors mopped up all the new notes and put the banks at risk. Probably why the banks are at the receiving end of the mayhem. So much destruction at the banks. Too bad

I hope you’re all satisfied. Omojuwa was just toying with the brains of Obi supporters. As usual, they fell for it and started famzying him. Some even apologized for the insults. Didn’t take much time before he threw them back under the bus where they rightfully belong.
His support is meaningless at this time. When people start trolling then you know that they're at their wits end.

See the traffic his post generated. No one takes him seriously. Na 152 people Naim be all Obidients for agbado dictionary. I'm sure there's 50% Urchins among the 152 hyping the post. 🤣

so governors cannot exchange the old notes to new ones? Or do they need to understand rocket science to do that? Where are the new notes if I may ask, are they not sitting in vaults in various government House? At present, votes can be bought with even fufu or cup of rice. The redesign policy has boomerang

Politics › Re: Tinubu Will Win Highest Votes, Might Have Run-Off With Obi - SBM Intelligence by NothingDoMe: 2:55pm On Feb 18, 2023
Mynd44:
Every electoral year, SBM does this.

1. Obi isn't winning Kogi, Ondo, Nassarawa, Delta and Taraba. Not getting 25% in Sokoto, Ogun, Kebbi and Kastina and Oyo

2. Atiku isn't winning Borno, Yobe and Niger. Not getting 25% in Lagos, Ogun, Kogi and Cross River

3. Tinubu isn't winning Kano

But a Tinubu Run-Off with Obi? Stop the count!!!
Delta is sure for Obi. Forget that Okowa is there. He's picked the safer fight against Omo-Agege. While Omo-Agege is trying to align with Obidients to boost his chances against PDP.

No one is picking a fight with LP here. Rather they want to cooperate.

I think you should watch your area bro. Tinubu got lots of home problems.

under which organ of government is the supreme court?

whether you know who i am or not isnt my problem. i dont know where you come up with the idea that supreme court enforces and "ensures that the CBN continues to receive old notes according to the law". how you arrived at that conclusion is my primary interest. so far, you just going round in circles
Your interest is no longer my concern.

i dont need to answer the questions because you are the one that said that The same Supreme Court "ensures that the CBN continues to receive old notes according to the law". so far, you havent provided any evidence to support your claim. you have even come up with a new one that the "The Supreme Court are the enforcers of the laws of the land". for Gods sake, where did that come from? under which organ of government is the supreme court?
I get it now. I know what you are. Have a nice weekend

let me repeat...dont mistake verbosity for substance. i didnt ask you for CBN act. this is what i asked you below. up till now, you cant answer.

1. if you say that "the Supreme Court cannot determine legal tender",

2. how then can The same Supreme Court "ensure that the CBN continues to receive old notes according to the law"?

3. which law gives it that power to "ensure that the CBN continues to receive old notes according to the law"?

the questions i asked are numbered 2 and 3. whats all the talk about CBN act? where do you see supreme court in CBN act?

when did supreme court now have powers to enforce laws? oga, where did you get that from?
Then you can answer your own questions Oga. If the professor of law, is not satisfied with my response, then he should provide the correct response.

That has nothing to do with what I asked you.

if you say that "the Supreme Court cannot determine legal tender", how then can The same Supreme Court "ensure that the CBN continues to receive old notes according to the law"? which law gives it that power to "ensure that the CBN continues to receive old notes according to the law"?
The CBN ACT. I mentioned it in the first response.

The ACT clearly states that the supreme court cannot determine legal tenders.

The ACT also says that the CBN MUST receive old notes.

If the CBN is refusing to comply with the ACT, then the Supreme Court steps in to force them to comply with the ACT.

The Supreme Court are the enforcers of the laws of the land but can only do so within the provisions of the said laws.
