Greetings my people,

For those of you having problem funding your Trading212, the following should be done without going through Dom account opening:

Kindly link any of your credit/debit card to Google pay (pay.google.com) via your gmail account. It's that simple.

After that login to your Trading212 account, click on deposit.

Select "Change method of payment" (since credit/debit card is default).

Choose Gpay

Add the same gmail linked to gpay.

Add amount in dollar.

Submit.

Your Trading212 account will be credited automatically without hassle.

NB: Google will charge you for each transaction.

Don't even bother funding with direct credit/debit card in Trading212 because it's not allowed for Nigerians.

For those using trading 212 platform. Note that they don't accept Nigeria debit/credit card. The other alternative to fund your account is either bank wire ( if you have domiciliary account) or SKRILL.

I've been having issues verifying my address on skrill. I've tried my email bank statement and my NIN slip but still doesn't get approved. How did you go about verifying yours?

And the debit/credit card, will the UBA Africard be accepted since it can be used in numerous countries in Africa?

What ID did you use for verification?

Yes, I used TIN. I'm not sure if there's any alternative.

Can I as an individual register for the TIN? If so what are the criteria and documents needed? Will I get the number instantly and then collect the card on a later date?

I was using Etoro platform but had to withdraw my funds to trading 212 because of convenience of zero trading fee I'm enjoying in trading 212 platform. My major issue with Etoro is their high minimum trade value of $500. For those not comfortable with platform fees e.g trade commission, deposit fee, and withdrawal fees should check out trading 212.

To change font, switch region to India (Can be done from additional settings) Go to Theme app get a font of your choosing. Apply and Reboot then change region back to Nigeria.
