TravelRe: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by NoTimeZone(m): 7:23pm On Aug 31, 2022
Good day bosses. Asking for a friend, is one required to secure a job in Canada before applying for this program or can my friend apply without already having a job in Canada?
Any response would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I like people like you who always bring religious sentiments into clear issues even if it gives us more ground to support Muslims anywhere anyhow.

If you like to play the religious card,be our guess..

Have you asked your dull self if any Muslim has ruled any southern state since our return to democracy.

In fact, from available record: no Muslim has been a deputy governor in the whole of south south(I am talking about Niger delta region)yet you want the north who are majority Muslims to give tickets to non Muslims?

Guy, how you take dey reason?

I ask again:Why are you guys being such bigoted nimbys?
Yet,you what to keep playing that religious card.

But we know Christians have ruled northern and mid-beltan states.
From Patrick Yakowa,to Ortom to the guy in Jos .

I don't know what's this noise maker trying to prove?! undecided

It’s really weird they ask for this even after authenticating my financial docs. I need your views on this please

My dear friend NOTIMEZONE on this topic of creating a more effective Tele gram group, the creator and major players on this thread are not open-minded. they have their reasons, but after weighing the Pros and the Cons. its a no-brainer that a Tgram group will aid us best. gradually its quite clear there's a gradual exodus from here and contributors are becoming scarce.
for those really perturbed, you can join the trove Bamboo and wealth hackers group on T gram to get much timely and info and recommendations. SEARCH the above names.
I can't seem to find the group using the search function on Telegram. I would very much appreciate if you dropped the link here quoting me. Thank you.

@InaNla Pls, take a look at the bolded.

it's not like we're going to leave Nairaland, I'm simply saying that Telegram should be our backup plan in case these mods decide to do what they do best.

Telegram is nothing like WhatsApp, it's even better than Nairaland for discussing topics like the stock market. New members will still get to read all old conversations just like on Nairaland.

And Oakpearl should be the one to create the Telegram group since he started this thread, place the invite link on the first page together with the first post.

I don talk my mind, if dem like make dem ban me till 2025.
@afroxyz next time before you quote me, pls read the bolded.

Apart from the fact that you've been denied before, You did not show a very strong home tie. You could have done that through your current work, if it was better than an NGO. Being with an NGO doesn't really hold water even though you might have been going practical experience. You should have tailored your response on how you'd come back to assist the NGO or create a similar Institute upon completion of your program.

Secondly, students that goes for Cyber Security and Criminology have to possess a little bit of luck in order to get visa approvals. These courses are Intelligence related and revered for special duty. That's why you'd always be asked if you wrote the GRE and whether you deserved the funding and TA. Again, The VOs, FBI, CIA and SSS of the USA somewhat feels like you'd be knowing their secrets once you study an Intelligence related course like yours.

You should have used Abuja since you've been refused at Lagos in the past. Generally, it was a very good transcript, you did well and I'm not uncertain you'd have gotten Approval if it were an Engineering Program. Just an opinion and observation.
Plenty talk.

hello please nairalanders I have a question to ask please , a soft copy of my i-20 was sent to me yesterday through my email and I am suppose to apply for an F1 visa , I don't know how I am going to do this, can I apply for the expedited interview online through the use of the i-20 that was sent to me online or I need to have them send me the hard copy first, please how should I do this because I was suppose to be resuming January. please I really need all of your contributions, it will really help me.
The soft copy is allowed. Your next step should paying your Visa application fee, filling/submitting your DS-160, schedule a regular appointment at either Lagos or Abuja, lastly request for an emergency appointment.

Same here and he asked nothing relating to school just where re you going, sponsor, married, Kidd and have you travelled out of the country. Exactly just 4questions. Denied me because he felt like it and it hurts that we can’t question them on this nonsense. I don’t blame them, I blame my country because they feel we are animals here, he can’t do that in his country, deny a student visa based on his subjectiveness and power as VO. I have paid another visa application and did a new DS160. But no appointment in Lagos bad I am considering Abuja because just maybe because of the low rush the Abuja VO will take time and ask questions, Lagos has lime inside and outside with people waiting Nd security treating us like kids. Like someone said better days ahead. Hurts less now.
I've been advised several times to schedule an appointment with the Abuja embassy, that the Lagos consulate is like a motor park flooded with passengers and not too many buses/drivers.

He did the praying and fasting all night. I really can't appreciate enough. Interview time 7am, taxi dropped me at about 6am, on the queue, the next person that appeared behind happen to be Moses, the guy I have virtually known, but I refused to introduce myself, so he wnt locate me incase I get a reject, but I changed my mind to reach out.

Eventually window 12, Though my prayer was to get approved, even if I say rubbish.

ME: Good morning sir

VO: Drop your documents here

VO: where are you going to in the US

ME: Southern Arkansas University, Magnolia Arkansas to pursue my master degree in computer and information science with research interest in bioinformatics... Cuts me off.

VO: what is bioinformatics

Me: Bioinformatics is an aspect of computer information science that has to do with dissemination, manipulation, storage and processing of Bio data...my head was empty here, I just started saying, you know making Bio data easier to reach...

VO: *felt unsatisfied* why did you pick this research.

ME: see ehn, I applied for a job at Federal ministry of science and technology, they rejected me because I dont have degree in computer science and in bioinformatics... I wanted to start crying in my mind.

V.O: who is sponsoring you
ME: my parent.

VO: what do they do.
ME: My dad is a dealer with dangote cement.

VO: what did you say he is doing with dangote.

ME: He partners with Dangote cement

VO: What does he dooo

ME: He collects goods in large quantity and sell to retails

VO: *now satisfied* OK

ME: Ok ke, He is also an estate developer, while my mum owns a high school here in Lagos, they have a joint account to take care of my education

VO: Do you have Statement of Account.

ME: gave him, looked at it forever and was just brought out white paper, to be honest, from here I did not hear anything again.

Thanks to God , to Him, to @oluwole(super kind soul) aka @mulerider, to Nike Omijori (Humble and wonderful sister), to ake (always doing the findings), Fairheart (guy!!!! Words can't express), thanks to everyone literally
Congratulations

I got some form of scholarship from my school but an undergraduate degree and my deficit is still on the high, though I don't have an issue with the cost of attendance I just don't know if I'll be convincing enough to the VO that my parents would be able to foot the bills.

My question is, what is your total cost of attendance?
