CONGRATS!!! KejiA: Hello everyone, I have been a silent reader. I just got my ppr today. My application was a very funny one, I submitted in January this year and I had no request letter neither did my eligibility review change until I got my passport request today. I was worried and had so much anxiety everytime that I had to stop coming on here because it felt overwhelming for me. My timeline goes like this: Submitted - January 27th Confirmation- January 28th Biometrics- January 28th Upfront medicals- March 9th Medicals updated to pass- March 15th Bvl and passport request - April 27th Ps : Today makes it exactly 3 months I submitted my application. To everyone still hoping for a good news and waiting for ppr I pray you receive your miracle. Shout out to Ircc cause they have thought me patience on this experience. |

Good day everyone,
I got a request letter for my only IELTS result for the NSE route even though I already submitted it with my application. Is this normal?
Additionally, is it safe to add some documents i omitted in my application such as property documents and maybe offer a letter of explanation?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks. |

Evening, everyone. I just got an email stating that the delivery of my gcms notes has been delayed for an extra 90 days. I don't have the luxury of waiting to find out the exact reasons for my initial refusal because i'm going for the spring semester. The agency I used to apply for the notes told me they sent a complaint letter to IRCC but I don't think that will suffice. Please what can i do about this? Any advice will be well appreciated. Thank you all. |

Morning everyone. Question: In my first application, i put an internship which is not relevant to my proposed program in my CV and IMM form and failed to talk about it in my SOP. For my second application, do I put it in my cv & imm form and explain why i took the internship in my SOP? or just leave it out altogether? Any advise pls HELP!!! |

Good morning, guys. Is there any University of Regina student here who was able to pay tuition fees without using Flywire? Their exchange rates are steep as hell and I really need an alternative |

Yes I worked on my typing by doing various online mock tests and timing myself. After a some practice tests you should be ready to move forward. You are limited for time in the exam hall so your brain has to be well coordinated with your hands immediately you see the given essay question lol Good luck and stay blessed. Olaa123: Please for those that wrote the computer delivered IELTS Did you work on your typing skills before the exam? I'm not so fast in typing but I'm not slow either Can speed of typing affect my result. Will appreciate responses |

HI @JustMellow Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to me. A few things: 1. You said I should have my sponsor transfer my "LE" to me. What's LE? 2. I paid half of my estimated fees before application but I will be sure to complete payment for a whole year before re-applying. 3. Can my sponsor transfer 10,000 to me for living costs before reapplying and does this have to be a gift of deed or simply just reflect in her account? 4. My salary is not a lot as I'm still a junior engineer so maybe that's the reason for the personal & financial assets point. what can I do to fix this? 5. I have 3 and half years between my undergrad graduation and now. I'm doing my best to learn more and read all the threads before reapplying. Thank you everyone. JustMellow: Hello Notkenny,
Since there is progression in your study, I will try to share brief opinion pending the arrival of the notes.
You're using a third party sponsor (uncle). There shouls be somewhat commitment to show. If you didn't make payment or any deposit for your tuition, do so this time using your sponsor's account. Ensure the transaction carry a narrative and reflects on the BS intended for the sponsorship intent.
Depending on your available budget, try to make a full tuition payment (or half of it). GIC is becoming a norm amongst applicants from Nigeria, make an inquiry from CIBC or Scotia Bank on the possibility or how to go about this. If you intend to so it old school, have your sponsor transfer your LE to you.
Personal assets and financial status can be easily tackled by including Payslips if you previously included all employment documents and BS. A poor inflow and unexplained lumpsum can also be a contributive reason for personal assets and financial status, as its not necessarily about having landed properties.
If you can simply demonstrate how economically established you are in CoR using your employment ties or good employment prospect, you could sail through.
On some few occasion, personal assets and financial status could also be traced to one's sponsor maybe due to the failure to demonstrate how well-established, source of funds, family composition, financial strength, purpose of sponsorship etc.
Reiterating, since there is study progression, you may want to revisit your study plan and have it revamped.
Ultimately, if there is a study gap between your previous study and work experience, preferably, I will be of the opinion to the latter except otherwise—maybe being a fresh graduate with no or little work experience.
Best of Luck |

Morning, everyone. PLEASE KINDLY HELP WITH THIS. Can someone suggest a way I can tackle these issues until I get my notes? Should I get my sponsor to pay my tuition fees and transfer the required 10,000 CAD? Also, how much does it take to get a gift deed? I'm trying to acquire a land from my parent in order to tackle personal assets but I don't know what to do. notkenny: Good morning, all.
I just got my refusal letter based on the following reasons:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. • Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more: your qualifications, previous studies, level of establishment, language abilities, or your future prospects and plans.
A few things: 1. I studied electrical engineering in undergrad and I'm going for the same master's program so I really don't understand the "purpose of visit". I even submitted a WES Canada translated transcript in my application citing a 3.5/4 final CGPA.
2. I didn't have any huge assets. The only thing I submitted was my salary SOA showing the monthly salary payment. I also used a relative of mine as a sponsor. What can I do to fix this?
The third reason is even more confusing.
I've ordered my GCMS notes and hopefully, it will come soon. Please ANY assistance from all the gurus in the house @frankrobb1 @justmelow and others will be much appreciated. I plan on applying again for the May or Sept semester and I want to be fully prepared to avoid a second rejection.
It will end in praise. |

Thanks chief. Chukwubuikexo: Raise a webform to the embassy, informing them of the deferment. Request for proof of deferment from your school, if that is not possible. Inform the embassy in that same webform that in your admission letter you were provided with the option of resuming any time between sept2020 - May2021, and due to the long processing time you have chosen to defer your admission to May |

Good morning, guys.
I have an issue I would like your opinions on:
I just dropped out of my classes for the January 2021 semester since my permit hasn't been approved yet. I sent a list of the registered courses for the semester along with my application. The issue now is, it is stated in my admission letter that I am allowed to start the semester any time from September 2020-May 2021 but should I still let the embassy know my classes have been dropped and I'm deferring to May? And how do I do it without a new admission letter?
Thanks |

Morning everyone. I'm new to this platform but I have been reading and studying most of the issues raised.
I submitted my NSE documents on Thursday, 7th of January 2021 but up until yesterday the only thing I saw on my portal was "additional documents have been uploaded". I was about to start sending emails and raising webforms for them to acknowledge my documents, only for me to get to work this morning and see an email from CIC acknowledging my additional docs and my portal also has been updated. Eligibility review don start for everything.
It shall end in praise for everyone on this platform. |
