I don't believe in killing people over religion and neither did Prophet Muhammad. The prophet asked other religions to join him in worship of the one and true God and in peace i.e Islam. The wars prophet Muhammad fought were against the Romans and Jews trying to destroy Islam and this made his war holy.

If you forcibly convert a man you only make him a hypocrite and risk him in your ranks. Then there are some who die fighting for their beliefs. You will never find peace if you force religion upon others. Despite the long history of Rome they never enjoyed one century of peace. Even Islam today doesn't enjoy peace which means it's not Islam.
