Good morning Tech gurus My laptop has stopped connecting to WiFi, and not only that, I can't access the system settings. The whole issue started about some months ago when it was used for a programme where many people had to present via the projector, and it was my system that was used. After that day, I noticed that once I click on the settings, it will close spontaneously. What can I do about this? Thanks |
An American singer-songwriter, pastor evangelist, Don Moen has died after short battle with stomach pain. “His family confirmed that he died early this morning at General Acute Care (GAC) Hospital in California shortly after being rushed to the hospital. “The cause of his death is not immediately known as the body is deposited at the morgue for autopsy. “President Donald also has expressed his tributes, saying Don Moen was “one of the best gospel artists that the country has ever produced@ it said. Many have taken to their twitter handle to comiserate with the family of Don Moen, however many more twitters insist that the popular evangelist is alive, hale and hearty while others queried the autenticity of the death news. Anyone could easily relatively carry the saxophone and blow it. I would have doffed my hat for him, if he were to be a trumpeter. Some trumpeters too can read this and start feeling themselves, when you rehearse or play well on the keys of concert Dflat and Gflat, then u're becoming a trumpeter. Real men blow the trumpet, proudly one. |

That one no concern me at all, I get this story for you all. When Sola was in SS3, his teacher always yelled at him, calling him "a waste of conception, time and space and a sure failure in life". One day, poor Sola's grand mother came to school to check out how her grandson was doing. The teacher told her quite frankly that she had never seen such a dumb boy all her life; and advised her to withdraw and enrol him under an artisan, because formal schooling for Sola would be a total waste of time and money. The grandmother, shocked at the teacher's remarks, withdrew her grandson from the school and relocated to Maiduguri. **** 25 years later **** The teacher was diagnosed with a brain tumour. All the doctors she met advised her to do surgery. And only a certain doctor in the whole of Nigeria (practicing in Maiduguri) could perform this procedure. Left with no alternative, the poor teacher agreed to have the surgery performed. Fortunately, It was successful. When she awoke hours after the surgery, she saw a handsome young doctor smiling down at her. She was on artificial respiration from a machine that provided her oxygen. She wanted to thank him but could not speak. She looked sideways and suddenly began to express shock & anguish, her face started to turn pale; she frantically made attempts to raise her hand and tell him something but couldn't. She struggled, she fought hard- Then she gave up the Ghost and died. The young doctor was shocked. He tried to find out what went wrong. Eventually he found out it was our dear Sola (now working as a cleaner in the hospital) who had disconnected the lady's oxygen machine to connect his phone charger. Wait ooo!... Don't tell me you thought Sola became the doctor? lol! This is not Nollywood!! Sola no know book! Period!............... |
Senate President, Bukola Saraki will face trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) according to a 7-man panel at the Supreme Court which rejected his appeal challenging the decision of the Appeal Court which upheld his trial at the tribunal. A three-judge panel of the Supreme Court led by a retiring Justice John Fabiyi had on December 4, 2015, ordered a stay of proceeding by the Tribunal pending the determination of Mr. Saraki's appeal. The court also asked counsel on both sides to submit their briefs of argument within 14 days. The court then fixed February 5, 2016, to deliver its judgement. Mr. Saraki's appeal before the country's apex court contends that the CCT lacks jurisdiction to try him. His lawyers argue that the tribunal was not duly constituted as it comprised two instead of three members provided for by the Constitution. Also, the embattled Senate President's lawyers claim that the charges against Mr. Saraki were not competent. A panel of Nigeria's Court of Appeal had earlier, in a split decision, affirmed the jurisdiction of the tribunal to try Mr. Saraki.
