Please people, what is the best way to remove sludge in a car engine, toyota corolla to be precise. Thanks for the anticipated helpful advice. |
Can anybody tell me the manifestos of any of these individuals vying for presidency and how they plan to actualize them before you tear yourselves apart?.To me pro GEJ, pro North and what have you are guilty of sentimental politics that has left us where are. Because our politicians know how blinded we are with sentiments, they present any charlatan to vie for political offices knowing that Nigerians will not ask questions. Let's know what these guys plan to offer and the feasibility of their promises before throwing our support. Enough of these wacky and myopic supports. |
Blood grouping CANNOT be a reason for not wedding a couple.Like I said, any issue arising from incompatibility can be handled. These are sorted out during antenatal/pregnancy and delivery.Knowing your blood group is okay but cannot be a premarital test. |
Blood group is not important. In case of ABO/Rhesus (blood) incompatibility, it will be taken care of during pregnancy/delivery.Please let's try and give reasonable advice on issues like this.@ Poster I advise you to see a doctor. |
BLOOD GROUP is not necessary |
Two relevant tests are GENOTYPE and HIV Status.Fertility test? not advised at this stage.Happy married life in advance. |
Thanks Onwan.More suggestions needed please! |
Last Saturday, I drove my brother to buy an auto part for his car in my 2003 corolla.I decided to change a valve on my crankcase cover(PCV Valve) which had been blocked for about 2 months due to smoking.I must emphasize that I never had issues with the car.The auto spare part dealer said we should buy a complete crankcase cover with the valve since he wouldn't sell the valve alone. We got the cover and opened the engine top to replace it but were shocked to see massive sludge that had formed flakes. The cover we got didn't match anyway so we decided to clean the old one and put it back.On starting the car,the oil indicator initially went off then came up after some minutes. This has continued with further checks pointing to the oil pump not pumping enough pressure .I bought a new oil pump (Briscoe) put it after some of the sludge was manually removed with diesel. The oil pan was removed while doing this.I also changed the oil and oil filter still the pumping is still low.NB I change my oil at regular interval with mobil oil. Please I need suggestions on what to do |
@Bluethooth could you show some restraints and maturity when you make your comments, the fact that this is an open forum where people air their views does not mean we become reckless and hateful in our comments. I've followed your comments on issues and have always seen them to be grossly malicious, childish and clearly out of point. While I acknowledge that opinions differ,it should differ on issues and with respect. And telling you this annoying truth, your whole family combined, cannot achieve what Ekwueme has achieved as a person!! |
This is a case of ones house being on fire and he's busy pursuing rat. These clowns of could resolve to endorse Jonathan(which means nothing anyway) but could not resolve the lingering strike by their universities lecturers.Politicians will never cease to amuse me.Shame on you all. |
Sorry for the delay, already sent you an email |

I've checked at the spare parts market and Mandilas here in P.H with no success.I need help here pls |
This is about 6cm long, attached to the right(driver's side of the engine) with a hose connecting to another point. I read it should be occasionally cleaned/replaced as part of comprehensive servicing. |
After much dismantling by my mechanic,we came up with some numberings on the engine-XXXXXXXXZZ (8 digit numbersZZ)Am confused if this is actually the engine number. The car is Toyota 2003 Corolla. How many digits are they supposed to be? |
This is a 2003 corolla PCV(Positive Crankcase Ventilation) Valve. Can anyone help in how I can get it here in 9ja?

Like I once heard, politics is the madness of many for the benefit of the few.Am not surprised at those fighting themselves over Jonathan, IBB, Atiku et al because this is their game, you are the pawns and they play you around for their fun and joy. |
Am still waiting to hear the manifestos/plans of everyone contesting and the step by step approach to achieving these plans. We should for once tackle politics on practical issues and not on non issues. Enough of bandwagon politics.Enough of ''l will do this and that'' crap. Let' know HOW you intend to do it.So far, they are all saying the same bullshit |
Another dubious project! Raising money to fund the up coming elections. |
I feel compelled to contribute to this thread not because of the reasonable ideas I read on it, rather to correct certain points and ill feelings generated by some retards and haters who cannot contain their jealousy of other people's achievements. It is rather funny how an interesting topic presented by the poster, has been transformed into an ethnic issue by some charlatans. My main point of writing is to correct the term Iboman. It should rather be IGBOMAN. The fact that the colonialist who cannot pronounce 'GB' and decides to take the easier pronunciation as the he did in many other words belonging to their colonized territories, does not change the IGBO to IBO. The Igbos speak Igbo period. Those who feel their tribes are the best in Nigeria have the right to hold so, but they sound very stupid when they use this thread to castigate any other tribe. |
@wales and cotravelers:STANDING IN GEJ's WAY IS LIKE STANDING ON THE PATH OF AN HIGH SPEED TRAIN!!!our economy is recovering, slowly but steady.GEJ keep's his promise's. Even the thing's he didn't promise,he tackle's for the uplifting of all. VOTE GEJ FOR A BETTER STANDARD,FOR BETTER LIFE AND GREATER NIGERIA. Thank You. I cannot remember Jonathan promising anything [was it when he was campaigning to be president?] He never said he was running for any position so why the call to vote for him.Has Jonathan done much for me to vote for him [if he asks for my vote] I will say NO.He has not proved to be a strong willed leader. The power around him is the voice of Jacob but the body of Esau. Why has OBJ suddenly resurrected in the nation's politics. So far Jonathan has made approvals on projects whose impact on alleviating the sufferings of Nigerians remain doubtful-acquisition of presidential jets, money for the 50th anniversary of independence, redesigning of #50 note. While I suspect these are ways of raising funds for 2011 elections,it is a reflection of leadership of waste he will run as a president. I still await the emergence of credible candidate as president and indeed all elective posts and hope that elections should free and fair. For its not Jonthan. |
Frankly,I feel pain when I hear a Nigerian gunning down a fellow Nigerian, but I feel some relieve when the gunned is a policeman |
Why only #50 note, they should redesign the whole currencies, demolish all the federal secretariats in Nigeria and build new ones to reflect Nigeria at 50. Every property of the federal should be redesigned to reflect Nigeria at 50. Ndi ara!!!. Come to think of it, how do you expect Jonathan to raise money for his and his parties elections |
The IG's testimony does not prove beyond reasonable doubt that the arrested wanted to murder Otedola. It is to circumstantial. |
With this , two things come into my mind; 1 This may be another Waziri's gimmicks of hugging the headlines to remain relevant. 2 This may be a political move to bulldoze perceived political opponents of Jonathan in the next election. My question is, if she knows these corrupt politicians, what is stopping her from getting them prosecuted? |
Any help from anybody? |
