Nollie254: Hello I want to make a purchase decision between the Huawei odu and the ZTE odu but that decision depends on if ZTE G5FA has wifi 7(be) coz the G5F has wifi 7(be)that would make it an easy pick so those with ZTE G5FA does it have wifi 7(be)? You asking as if you have all of them available in your location. While G5F is Wifi 7 capable, it is only going to truly work as expected when paired with suitable IDU, but that's not the case because that would be expensive. The G5F remains the best ODU Airtel has fielded. If you do have Huawei in your location, I suppose you should go for it as it has the best combination of ODU/IDU. That is if they have not changed the specific devices as they have changed ZTE. |

olujosh301: No they won't The odu was 50k when it first came out, then 25k and now 40k( 25k sub + one time 15k installation fee) They may increase it and probably have another 20mbs sub which will then be cheaper. That's what MTNN just did with FibreX. |

It's a very dangerous political move... I'm a student of political economy so I just had to risk it with DANGEROUS FUNDS to I would say this political connection did virtually nothing for nearly 4 years. |

Share price driven by scarcity alone is extreme market manipulation and SEC needs to address or stop listing by introduction. They really need to. |

BabsO2: Started buying TRANSCORP from the N7.5 PO and later averaged down to about N1 before reconstruction. Decided to stop the bad habit of not averaging up based on prospects. As I missed averaging up on PRESCO that my cost remain about N8. Less than 10NGN? That's wild. |

Tover: Disable it and check if U can still see 2.4ghz on your devices because me I no see 2.4ghz again o.. Andi's really affecting me You probably disabled the 2.4Ghz SSID |
Phones › Re: Airtel Unlimited Data Thread! Best Data Plan In 2024!! by NSEstudent: 11:18am On Feb 21 |
Obviouslyblunt: really? Since I enabled that, I have never seen my 2.4Ghz on any device again. Pc, watch, tv, phones, game.
But glad to know it means something different. Go to connected devices list and you'd see which devices connected to which frequency. Some devices are incapable of connecting to 5Ghz but they'd connect to the name you have given for the 5Ghz SSID. If you want to change the name of the 2.4Ghz SSID, it won't work. It's just making your SSID uniform. |
Phones › Re: Airtel Unlimited Data Thread! Best Data Plan In 2024!! by NSEstudent: 7:41am On Feb 21 |
Obviouslyblunt: are you sure you didn’t turn on WiFi optimization under 5G? It makes sure you only use and see 5Ghz. Mine is enabled. I prefer using only the 5Ghz. Not exactly what it does. It makes devices which can connect to 5Ghz connect to it while devices which can only connect via 2.4Ghz will also connect to the same SSID. If you want to know which devices connected to which frequency, there is a place they are shown on the admin interface. |

Valthegreat: There's something I don't understand in the trading pattern for stocks, if you check the market list for Japual you will see a long list of trades that has happened today but for 3days now I have been queuing at the maximum amount without getting any so how is the matching done?. How come over 100 bid has been matched with offers today but some bids will go through and others will fail, is it by first come first served or how does NGX determine whose bids to match first. Gurus in the house I need your help. Those people placed their bids before you. Try placing bids at exactly 9.30am. Before then, ensure you know the day's high and place it at exactly that price. This won't make you the number one bidder but it will take you close, and, if you are lucky, you might be able to buy on the day. |

Betnomore: I don't have speed issues like that except for Airtel normal crazy weird speed throttling if you no sabi dem ways. It sometimes go to 4G which I don't want as you can't set it to 5G NSA only. That's why I want to lock it to the band that is responsible for the 5G NSA as it's just an improved 4G LTE Well, if you uncheck all the LTE bands, I'd assume it will take you back to 3G, which is not what you want. The best LTE band right now is band 7, so you can lock to it. By the way, if you are not having speed issues, it might be to your best interest to leave locking as ALL the bands experience specific issues from time to time. Locking to any LTE band or even 5G SA (not possible in Nigeria for now) won't save you when Airtel decides to 'happen to you'. |
Phones › Re: Airtel Unlimited Data Thread! Best Data Plan In 2024!! by NSEstudent: 1:07pm On Feb 19 |
Betnomore: Which one should I uncheck because I want only 5g but I think Airtel has only 5G NSA. Thanks I don't have 5G in my place. I don't think you will be able to browse if you uncheck all the LTE bands. But you should try it. NSA means Not Stand-Alone. So the 5G go need to stand with LTE Bands You should try all the LTE bands one by one while setting network mode to 4G only. When you find the best, which is usually band 7, you can lock it and switch to 5G NSA. If you have 5G, you theoretically shouldn't be having problems with speed. Which problems are you having? |
