Being blinded by love—is something many people go through. It’s often easier to spot red flags in hindsight than in the moment, because when emotions are strong, they can override logic and make us rationalize behaviors we’d otherwise question. Why this happens 1. Attachment bias: When we’re invested in someone, we tend to downplay warning signs because we don’t want to lose them. 2. Hope for change: Love makes us believe the person will improve or that the relationship will “settle” into something better. 3. Selective perception: We focus on the good moments and ignore the bad, convincing ourselves the positives outweigh the negatives. Common early signs people overlook 1. Inconsistent communication or affection. 2. Disrespect disguised as “jokes” or mood swings. 3. Avoidance of accountability—always shifting blame. 4. Secrecy about important aspects of life (finances, past relationships, intentions). 5. A pattern of instability in past relationships. Moving forward Love should never blind us to reality; instead, it should coexist with clarity and respect. A useful mindset is: “Love is a feeling, but trust and respect are choices.” If those choices aren’t mutual, the relationship will struggle no matter how strong the emotions are. |
This kind of post should be preluded with "viewers discretion". |
Oh! That's wrong. I guess the "officer" was trying to explain the matter. That's barbaric and unprofessional from the soldier. Sad. |
The Op did right by enlightening the broader audience to exercise caution in protecting their full self when conducting KYC. You can't muzzle whistleblowing, it's a fundamental part of the society for check and balances maybe except classified information (on certain grounds). |
I would have taught you said: Attend church without forgetting the head of the church. You see, "going to church" is a vital part of our Christian living. Take note of the word "vital", it tells it all. Again, going to church isn't going to a building, nor is it WORKS, it's grace, it's love and it's worship. The key thing here is holding onto the head, the foundation of the church - letting your life take bearing from Jesus our source, then it flows through your ways including fellowship. |

Wise words. If heeded, the country will see amazing turnaround. |
God bless that priest. Politicians needs to hear the Word. When they repent, it's a good news to the masses. |
So they will remain this manner until after 3 years. |
Something just tells me this is something within the prerogative of the National Assembly as to approving arms. I go with the approach but if it requires necessary approval from the NA, that be speedingly done. |
You can say that again... Outstanding writer Chukwuisgreat: |
Nigeria is truly a blessed country. Blessed with human resources among other kinds of resources. See how the writer finished the story delivery the message perfectly. Our true leaders will shine IJN. Amen. |
I think it's high time we consider gun rights in Nigeria. We need gun laws. No one should monopolize gun. |
Firstly, I must say no shady dealing occured here, it was a transparent process. On 10th Nov, 2023. Eritrea withdrew from the FIFA World Cup 2026 (no reason was officially given to the public). Eritrea belonged to Group E, Nigeria in Group C and Burkina Faso in Group A. CAF needed to arrive at the best runner up. Eritrea's withdrawal created imbalance in arriving this aim, being that Group E will play less games than the rest of the groups. So no level playing ground to make the aassessment. CAF decided to do it this way: it will deduct all points (including goals) earned from the bottom ranking group member in all groups. For Nigeria's group it's Zimbabwe - two draws, 2 points deducted from Nigeria's total which is 17pts remaining 15pts. For Burkina Faso's group it's Djibouti - two wins for BF so subtracting 6pts from its 21pts total remains 15pts too. Using goal difference, which of course is the next logical option here since both are of same points: Nigeria has +7 goal difference while Burkina Faso has +6 goal difference. So Nigeria qualified ahead of them. That's it. |
“If ChatGPT won’t log in on Android—even after reinstalling—try clearing cache and data for Google Play Services. That finally worked for me!” Procedure: Clearing Google Play Services Cache This one’s a bit hidden, but it helped some users including me: - Go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Services > Storage > Manage Storage - Tap Clear Cache and the All Data, then restart your phone though I didn't restart mine. Others are: 1. Switching to a different login method: If you originally signed up using “Continue with Google,” make sure you’re still using that method. Some users accidentally try logging in with email/password instead, which causes errors. 2. Using Incognito Mode in Chrome: A few people said they could log in via (https://chat.openai.com) using Incognito mode when the app failed. 3. Updating Android WebView: This system component affects how apps load web content. Updating it from the Play Store fixed login issues for some. Thanks for your attention. |
One word: entitlement. |
Good one! A beautiful way to go. Peace is all we need. |
Good move. Also, see to it you guide her against premature marriage that is able to undermine this beautiful efforts of yours. |
Is SA expecting the journalist to be the umpire? Journalism is objectival. It has to be an "allegation" until approved or confirmed by a competent authority, in this case UN or ICJ. Gagging the journalist and victimizing her for doing her job properly tells it all about SA. |
I arrived at this too. Okundaye4: |
"And" is a powerful unifier. It cojoins the two. They hence as one. Except you don't agree with the "and" usage. Also, a "wife" cannot exist separately without a husband. Finally, it never said, '7 children each to specify individuality'. Amotolongbo: |

Wow! Congratulations! Big congrats |
Know this and know peace. You can always identify yours. Yours may not have it all. You also can't have it all, King Solomon try tire! So I advise u to proceed with ur lot. Be happy and focus on a stable home. Children strive well in this. Take note, a light skin, big ass is no guarantee you will stay on or stay put. |
Agreement is based on terms defining that agreement. What if the "whatsoever request that couldn't be handled my Fubara" was made later on i.e., after the "agreed talk" and Fubara found it outside the bargain. We weren't in the conversation between them. Judging based on hearsay isn't good enough. |
The fuel you bought was for retail-selling not for hoarding. If you refuse to sell aggressively and new price comes up. You are on your own. It's a private business, your never contributed to its stake. Be a business man that you are. |
Dear Peter Obi, am one of ur supporter, but it will be insensitive and out of order to class sexual harassment as trivial matter. I will agree with you to refer it for proper investigation and if anyone found wanting should face the consequences and if allegations found to be untrue and defamatory should also face consequences. Penguin2: |
When a system or arm operates with impunity, it opens the door for every sort of vices. |
Cost-recovery? Is AU a for-profit organization... Anything unclear has hidden agenda.. we are watching 😕 |
Linking one's case to a criminal organization is all it takes to nail u here in Nigeria SalamRushdie: |
And you want me to believe this on face value: "Reverend Father fabricates locally made gun and bullets then sells it to Boko Haram"... You want me to believe that. What have the police done to stem the wanton killings and destruction of lives in the middle belt and parts of the eastern states... Tell me they fabricated those guns for self-defense and I will believe that. |
The tripping off is not to be acceptable. Obi should not allow himself to be bullied. Ok, saying national grid was an error but accepting TCN lame excuse is unacceptable. Obi should be bolder. |
