Your period shouldn't be a reason for marriage to come up immediately, you should take responsibility for it. Back to the case, I can observe your fiancé seems a responsible man. He feels obliged to cater for his family, that's cool. You should know of our type of society, the socioeconomic issues and others. Nevertheless, since you watching time on your own side, I suggest your talk to your fiancé, analyse the financial needs (if that is the problem) also emotional impediments, have a clear picture of things from your conversation with him (noting timeline of thing's from the discussion). Then decide. |
She should tell her husband to come up with survival plans for the vulnerable and the poor. She is living high and don't understand what it means for the daily earners in a lockdown. |
Is it conclusively determined or a "roadside" medical verdict? |
They just want to give government chance not to pay them in case of a general stay at home |
Struggling to accept authenticity of this narration. |
CoronaVirusRelo:Lol, the guy is always blunt to fact, what is good for the goose is good for the gander |
So Wuhan virus is given a befitting and sexy name - COVID-19. Same was with SARS. But should it have been from Africa, we would have had it being called a name akin to the originating place just like Ebola (a river in Congo), Lassa fever (Lassa, a town in Borno). According to CDC website, the disease (Lassa) was named "after a town in Nigeria where it first occurred" (and nobody protested, am surprised though) There is psychological consequence to naming a bad event with one's place, it negatively affects cultural worth. Albeit, this doesn't applies to Africa. I hope they change this, I suggest (after this virus is over), Africans should protest this madness. Let them give Ebola another name, so also Lassa fever. Very cruel. I miss Mugabe. If Congolese people are comfortable with such affront, that's them; we are Nigerians, we should reject such. I hope someone repost this and tag WHO on twitter. Either it's Wuhan Virus or no more Lassa fever or Ebola whatever, let's rise and defend our cultural heritage. I hope this gets to front-page for greater discuss or probably after the pandemic is over. |
Federal government always unclear! Why not simply say closure of all federal schools nationwide and private schools in the FCT. Let the states handle states schools and private schools in their jurisdiction. Let's be consistent with our laws, no need for federal taunting the state. This might impede the original purpose. |
Are they even aware of the prevalent pandemic - coronavirus, where notable health organisations are advising against such gathering, educated ones are flouting such. I guess they don't know how deadly that virus is. |
CliffDike:But first, let's commend Lagos State, they are doing so well |
Dreal1247:You so right, what are they saying about the killings, only hate speech that threatens Human Rights |
All thanks to Chinese measures to have suppressed the information when it ought to have been transparent |
Exile Ke! Am I in 1900, pls o, Nigeria no make me laugh |
fergie001:My question is how are we to repay the loan. So the administrator want to sell this country as slaves. What happens to earnings from our national endowment. Where the hell are they to get the money to repay this huge loan. |
Area4Area:Am so happy you mentioned South Korea economy. I see them as a fine blueprint for us to follow diligently infact to read as a text. 1 dollar to 1187 Won. Poor currency ratio of course. However, the economy is export driven. Export driven economy is a great changer. More still, they are very technologically developed. In short they have factories. They can self produce machines. Family businesses and conglomerates such as Hyundai automobile, Samsung and LG, they export electronics, textiles, ships, steels etc Then most of it's problem is historical,North Korean trouble. Dollar against it has been high from time past. But their per capital income is high, highly technological society. For the high dollar, they try to buy from their fellow Asians and self production, their problem is mainly historical, compared to we that the problem shouldn't be at all |
Magicians:Unfortunately you the slowpoke being cajoled here |
9jaRealist:You guys are being misled, Nigeria cost of production per goods is very high, poor electricity and unfavorable business climate... Tell me how it's nominal GDP will be high, more still, the rate of import is astronomical.... Where the hell are you guys getting the big economy from, is it MTN or Glo, communication industry that is even eating from the per capital income. Ever heard of media manipulation by government? |
destinie2019:God help us for this country |
1 dollar to 15.38 Rand 1 dollar to 365.50 Naira 1 Rand to 23.77 naira Why are we being deceived, if our economy were that good, our currency won't go that way. We don't need a soothsayer to tell us our economy is poor, infact extremely poor. So you as a Nigerian investor, you want to buy a machine worth $1000 which would cost you 365,000 Naira compared to a South African investor who will paid15,380 Rand. Which of the two investors would be smiling? People rejoicing at these "audio" economy should continue... |
Adverts247:One common features of Nigerian paid articles is that, they are stupidly long. Then full of gibberish. Rubbish, God bless United States, if not for them, the fund would have gone down the drain, accounted for. |
Why is Nigeria government acting as a puppet? Why are those in the helms of affairs putting Nigerians at risk? If peradventure Nigeria was China or Italy, would any Nigerian be allowed to visit China, what crops of administrators do we have in this country. Even without such incidence we are most times denied entry. At least mandatory quarantine for citizens from countries with high incidence of the virus. I can't believe some Chinese incomers are still undermining the health of this country and the FG has nothing to do about this. Will 2 weeks quarantine kill anyone compared to the risk of an epidemic, where would we run to? |

ForbesHomesNG:OK o |
Namdeenero:Was he aware of the Coronavirus 5 yrs ago? |
fergie001:Are u sure he wasn't the one that tainted "gentle staying" inec |
fergie001:The constitution is clear. Even though I agree it was a miscarriage of justice, but whether a right judgement or not, Supreme Court judgement is final. Aw, we're having severe judicial decadence, I remember when I was in secondary school, the way my teacher emphasises Supreme Court judgement Ehn.. To approach the court premises go dey fear me... If it's not administrative error, PDP should be wise enough to withdraw Imo petition unless they want theirs too @fine. If your friend or enemy walks into a pit by mistake and you witnessed it, falling into that same pit is sheer stupidity. |
I hope the prof won't sniff in the virus with this gesture thereby infecting others..
|
ijustdey:Not just dislocation of their command structure, we want it fractured, grinded and packed into the dustbin |
Gnaeusmagnus:Great points. I appreciate the last one, that is a good way to go.. Even if it's to encourage private modular or mini refineries... But I think, covering a festering problem will do us no good. Government subsidy or fuel importation ought to be a temporary measure not a long term thing. It's causing us harm indirectly as we are still paying for it through increase cost of goods. I think the Refineries we have on ground can be resuscitated and effectively utilized so that we drastically reduce PMS importation, its senseless. |
Yankiss:I swear |
oz4real83:Are you saying "increased minimum wage" is causing us inflation? Funny. Go tell your government to work on the refineries and stop wasting dollar vault on importing PMS, crude oil - our main export commodity price is falling yet they are importing PMS (40% of the import) why won't you have dollar deficit thus low currency value. Bro, they should deal with the economic problem not casting the blame on the poor, do you care to include how much the legislative and executive earn and their bonuses, cars, travels etc. Yet you wrote "minimum wage", you didn't even write about the " high cost of living", bro leave the poor out of this. Our unfortunate leaders put us in this mess. |
