Yea, we need people like Peter Obi. Some one who can resonate with Nigeria's need for quick uplift considering the present state of the nation. |
Man, put your house together, handle it as the director of your home and set things in place. You can't run away from your in-situ responsibility. That's all I have to say. Regarding your adultery. It's bad. However, retract your step, there are many tendencies of you kickstarting a wrong lifestyle with this first one. Arrest the situation and rid it off ur mind. Regarding your wife, pay attention to her grievances, listen to her issues and set up a solutions to addressing them. P.S: Women even men can be affected mentally with religious manipulations, she is just one victim, try to be part of her (by extension, you both) spiritual life and strengthen it. Blessing! |
Living with beasts |
You cannot peacefully protest for a violent murderer. It's murderers protesting for their fellow murderers |
I can only stay as a resident in Christian dominated parts of North e.g Gombe, Taraba and the likes. Not where fanatics dwell (even in abundance). It is unconducive for me. |
There is an ongoing protest in Sokoto State seeking for the immediate release of persons arrested by police over the gruesome murder of Miss Deborah Samuel who was accused blasphemy, POLITICS NIGERIA reports. Deborah, a 200 level student of the Sokoto State College of Education, was on Thursday beaten, stoned and her body was burned afterwards by some northern youths. The videos of the cruel act went viral on social media and caused massive outrage. At least two persons were arrested by the police after the incident, and the security agents vowed through Sanusi Abubakar, Police’s spokesperson in Sokoto State, that the suspects in the viral video on Twitter were spotted and will be nailed soon. As the demonstrators side with the killers on Saturday morning, security forces are on ground managing the situation. Meanwhile, Nigerians are still using Twitter to protest Deborah’s killing, calling on the government to ensure that justice was served.

Seun:VP Osinbajo seeming to me that he would be such as we see him over and over |
1. Mr President don't call our Jesus Isah, our Jesus is not Isah. 2. You did not mention any thing like arresting perpetuators if you agree that taking laws into one's hand is unlawful (that's if you even believe that). |
Some sort of James Bond rescue operation ![]() NwaNimo1: |
Pardon ![]() ogododo: |
By his estimate, the bandits were not more than 20 and yet the army couldn't chase them and recover the kidnapped victims |
Beautifully crafted |
Lol, well said Khaleepha5681: |
I don't even believe the police. You know the realities here, she is a poor lady and "has" no one to plead her case but God, if she is innocent but I still don't trust the story nor the police Wettoid123: |
I don't believe the narrative esp coming from the Nigerian police.... |
Could they become the highest bidder? The incumbent might steal more to ensure they have better chances Khaleepha5681: |
I agree with the presidency on this matter. I suspect vote buying will trouble the compulsory direct primary aspect. |
Can u tell me what happened there... All I see is someone trying to get the work on track...so what did u see happen? ColdHeatt: |
The video poster and his cohorts sums the calibre of Nigerian students we have presently. You can see the social media preference even while in class and their lackadaisical attitude in class Alusiizizi: |
Honestly, those couple as well as this piece of art deserve recognition. Mutaultope: |
So it has reached a stage where dirty bandits can now ransack Airforce camp, killing all the men on ground. |
From the KSG government's comment I began to reason that this must be related to killing of Christians in Kaduna! We cannot stay mute and watch our brothers being killed in the North. Gov El-Rufai... this has to stop . This killing of Christians must stop. This is evil |
Carry your dictator and your dictator system go ur villa CoolAmbience: |
garfield1:But unconstitutional! |
Since the constitution is silent on that. It becomes unconstitutional to act outside of what the constitution stipulates on the tenure of public office holders as regards max years of service. CoolAmbience: |
just2endowed:Would it be hard to abide by the constitutional stipulations on this matter... Why drag the constitution? |
Since the constitution is silent about it, it's unconstitutional. Constitution can't speak on all things. All we can do is to abide by the constitution. |
Why unlikely? So FG businesses should continue in the U.S. unaffected? HONESTFACT101: |
Nigeria should immediately reverse Twitter ban. Whoever advised FG to do so is shortsighted on world/economy politics. Twitter is a U.S. tech company, Nigeria banning twitter invariably means calling for trouble with the U.S., and that will be awful. Nigeria should learn from Iran or Russia. This can further affect our currency value. |
The same thing I noted Myself2: |
These people have a sinister plan. I think it's unfolded this way: Cultural differentiation makes it had for Fulani terrorists and terrorists from Sahel to infiltrate the Southern part of Nigerian. So a disguiseful means to penetrate the South is to normalize the Southern terrain with 'harmless' Fulanis thereafter gradually push in the main terrorists. Now they will take the South by surprise. I urge every Nigerians to reject whatsoever evil Ruga plans hatched by the evil ones. Anyone that wants to rear cows should do domestic ranching as done in other parts of the world. It's an agricultural business of individuals, what concerns government? |
I see a similarity here with the Boko Haram case. Most times killing of sect leaders aren't the best solution especially if it is done extrajudicially... It only angers their followers. Ok, you kill the leader, what then happens to the followers? Constructive and meaningful solution is done by factoring and collaborating with relevant stakeholders. There is power in negotiations and reconciliation as well as removing marginalization. I implore the Buhari's gov to deploy unity and inclusion based tactics. Nigeria's unity should be primal when sanctioning decisions not only in South-East but everywhere including South-West. He should study Gowon's approach. We don't want war or civil hostilities, we need progress. Our country's motto states unity as a panacea for progress. We can't progress in this sort of atmosphere. Twitter moved to Ghana, no right thinking company would think of coming to Nigeria with all these fightings and kidnappings. Pls Mr President, see it as a responsibility to resolve all these problems and not worsen it with any wrong move. Pls, consult with stakeholders in helping this country's delicate situation. |
