The essence of punishment is correction, parents need to understand thier kids for them to purnish them. Use the medium that will make a child feel sorry about what he did. Is not every child that should be flogged, it could just make them violent if such a child is already stubborn. Talk sense to him make him know he is important and correct on the fact that you want him to be a better person and not hate. And pray and teach them the word of God.

Funny how religion has been given residence in a place desperately seeking hope when sinking. Not even a quarter of the united kingdom inhabitants go to church. Reasons being they dont have any problems. They can afford 3 square meals and they all have jobs. But refocus your sights to Africa where poverty, unemployment, no social amenities and criminals have gone far beyond measurable limits . Hope is the only thing keeping everybody from commiting suicide and religion is now the opium of the masses. Pastors have now seen a fertile land to rob individuals off their last penny. Religion is a personal experience with u and God and not between you, God and your pastor. When will u blind people wake up? My girlfriend was so convinced in her RCCG until i took her to my methodist church here in england. She was really surprised how things were done. Not once did they preach about prosperity but instead love was the message.

@ posters all these critics on nairaland are on a mission to fight against what the church of Jesus christ believes, like tithe, miracles, pastors, hell, gift of the spirit,rapture, The organisation they are from they dont beliv such, so they came through nairaland to fight us. I was there so i know them even with thier words. How can someone without the holy spirit test spirits. A man that is lost will do anything to scatter the sheep of the shepherd.
