I have a friend applying for a visa with two of her children and we are wanting to get clarification on the following.

- Already understood we have to submit a ds 160 for each of the kids including the primary applicant, as well pay the visa fee for each of them.
- The primary applicant already created a CGI profile to apply for a visa and has included the kids as dependents. The question is do she
have to create a separate CGI profile for the kids as well? We also see that if we add the dependent to the primary account, we are prompted to submit their visa application payment receipt number. if we do this, do the kids still need a separate CGI account or can the primary account suffice for all of them?
- The kids are 4 years and 1 year. Does she have to take the kids to the embassy for the visa interview?

Good morning house, please i did my interview in Abuja on the 31st of August 2021 and i was denied. i reapplied and the closest dates i got for Lagos is July 19,2022. so i said let me try Abuja again but it took me to where it asked me if i have been previously denied in the last 2 months and i clicked it the response and i quote" Applicants for the U.S. visa are required to appear in person for a visa interview at the U.S. embassy/consulate. Please schedule an appointment for an interview".
Please has anyone experienced this or what do i do in this scenario? Thank you .

The School can waive GRE/GMAT etc but the visa officer can ask - " did you take any standardized test?" - "My school waived it" is not the answer.
Visa officers know schools waive these tests, I wouldn't take chances on that question. Good luck

3rd attempt at Abuja on August 24 gave me the long await VISA APPROVAL

After my rejection on June 28, I reapplied and available date was December 15. I deferred till Spring 2021.While wait for updated I-20, I keep checking available dates and re-applying for EA. EA was rejected 3 times at ABUJA from July- August 15,2021.On August 16 EA was APPROVED and I changed to September 24 with the hope that I can still make fall 2021 or just wait till Spring 2022. On August 21 I requested for another EA and it was approved within 25 minutes. Available dates was August 24 from September 24, I could not pick the date. It was so close and I stay in Lagos while interview is Abuja. (Friday 21 is not far from Tuesday 24) .After consulting my friends and wife, I picked August 24. Monday night I enter Abuja, after serious prayer and fasting.

V.O : I see you are going to Eastern Michigan UNI. with 100%G.A to for a doc. degree in Eng. Tech.
Me: I said yes ma and i completed the statement by mentioning my area of conc.
V.O : what will you do after this?
me: I will return to Nig. to take the position of the country manager in R& in my company
V.O: SHE checked where i work in her system and mentioned it.
me: Yes ma.
v.o: Is your wife travelling with you?
ME: No, she enjoys her career here in Nig. she works in an oil n gas firm( I mentioned the name) as Professional accountant and she has given her support and consent to start the program.
V.O: your VISA will be approved.
ME: I was shocked, just like that. All the questions i prepared for have not been asked. I tried to pay attention to what she was saying after getting the white paper but i did not hear much other corvid 19.... restriction.
I was crying that wao...... this is God. People taught I was rejected. Mean while i dressed very very causal and people were actually looking at me that do i really come for interview. Thank God for everything. This is just to encourage someone, don't give up until you hit the target.

On my DS-160, the part where I was asked who is sponsoring my trip, I wrote myself but my uncle will be sponsoring my education and I have his SOA with me. Hope this is not a red flag? My interview is in a weeks time, should I fill another DS-160 form?

Ans: I actively practice as lawyer specializing in entertainment, art and sport law.
(The area of law is a segment of Intellectual property law(IPL) which is what is stated in my office website.

Vo: your law firm is in Vi ??
Ans: yes

Vo: how many staffs do you have?
Ans: 30
(Meanwhile I checked my law firm’s website and discovered that it was 10 lawyers that was stated in the website)

Vo: will your office pay for your trips( this question, I wasn’t sure of what she asked my head told me it was about salary and said yes my office will pay my salary by 20%) my ds-160 clearly stated that my law firm will not pay for mg Trip.

VO: what year did you start working with the law firm ?
Ans: 2019 but I have had my internship program with the law firm before 2019

Now another problem I realized that there was an error on my appointment page for interview which is okay that my confirmation number on the appointment page is different from what I have in my DS-160, what was reflecting on my appointment page for my interview was b2 ds-160 confirmation number which I used in applying in 2019 for a family event in USA with my siblings and was denied. On my confirmation for interview it was this DS-160 old number that was on it which I discovered yesterday night. (The reason there was a mixed up was because I transferred my email account on the CGI three times becos I didn’t get a response when I made the application via email and later sorted for website application which was granted later via mail which approved it back to a different mail then I called the call center and it was permanently sorted out)

However, upon my denial I paid for a new MRV and I checked my profile update I was surprised to see my old b2/b1 visa confirmation reflecting Ds-160 number on my cgi profile instead of my Ds-160 for F-1 visa.

The questions are:
1. where did I go wrong in my interview?
2. What impact would the error on my CGI make?? Perhaps it didn’t show my required information.
3. Upon my new application should I pick Lagos or Abuja considering my circumstance ?

Hello I’m new here please I need your help I applied for expedited date for spring I didn’t get a reply in Lagos till after classes started I tried to get a new I-20 was told no late arrival would be issued , then my emergency request was approved I got a date in sep , would it affect me cause. I have bn trying to change to a date in November or December but no luck ,and as the emergency request is for when your course starts in 60 days from your emergency request time . Even if I can get a new l-20 won’t it affect me ?

So it means you are prepared right? I'd still advice you to develop your own transcript especially if this is your first time. Also don't forget to pray as well. What's gonna be must be
