kopite: Ignore them...... whats the operational capability? they should come out and tell us. the worst lies in life is the lies you tell yourself (illusion). I know for sure that iran is nation that will be folded up soon. check out the prophesy of isaiah. God said that because of the obedience of king cyrus, he will save persia and turn them to Himself in the end time. watch out how the iranians will be delivered from evil islamic stronghold.
But as for their noise making military weaponry, they are still in stone ages compare to the IAF and IDF.

They are Muslims. Shouldnt that tell you something. The end time started long ago

Pennywise:

Iranians cannot design and build a car engine even if their collective destiny depends on it.

Russia on the other hand will sell anything for money if the price is right. Rogue elements even the state will sell nuclear warhead. The jet you see is nothing more than a publicity stunt. Everything came from Russia at a price.

You are deluded.

TV/Movies / Re: Genevieve Nnaji's Scenes Cut Out Of Half Of A Yellow Sun by nuorlah: 8:23am On Feb 01, 2013
aribisala0: Last time I was in Nigeria saw this guy on TV. Bald Yoruba guy . Heard he was a lecturer. Very good actor but God cheat am with looks. Obviously Old school. Can't remember his name.Impressive actor. Saw his photo again in this Charity football game recently. We have quite a few good actors but they are not popular c'est la vie.
I found the TV productions in Nigeria a lot better than much of this Nollywood stuff

I know the lecturer you are talking about. He works with the likes of main frame productions and baba Faleti. Those are the people who deserve the awards, the international scene and would not disappoint.

Genevieve is overhyped. Bimbo Akintola is a good actress.
TV/Movies / Re: Genevieve Nnaji's Scenes Cut Out Of Half Of A Yellow Sun by nuorlah: 8:11am On Feb 01, 2013
I am not at all surprised.

Some days ago I was told to see a nollywood movue because it is 'good'.

It starred genevieve jim iyke and mercy jhonson.

I could not go beyond the third scene.

Genevieve is overhyped
Islam for Muslims / Re: Why A Married Muslim Woman MUST Keep Her Father's Last Name? by nuorlah: 6:59pm On Jan 31, 2013
omo.erelu:
It is not that easy o. I got married not long ago and i agreed with my husband to keep my surname with my husband's family name at least if i cant bear my father's name alone.but the problem is that my husband's surname is a complex name and it is so difficult compounding the whole thing. And not to even say that my in laws wont like it.i am still using my father's name for now o.

This isnt a matter for your in laws to decide on. It should be a thing you decide with your husband
Islam for Muslims / Re: Why A Married Muslim Woman MUST Keep Her Father's Last Name? by nuorlah: 6:56pm On Jan 31, 2013
I would like matters like surrogacy brought up as well.

If a boy loses his heritage because he is adopted, it is likely that he would meet his sister and marry her. Another reason why keeping of the biological father's name is important.

I hope our journalists will do better by providing photos when they give reports on their online news papers. Getting these pictures was an herculian task grin

So when he comes campaigning or what have you, you'd know he is dat Saburi..

Education / Re: Saburi Graduates After 14 Years In OAU by nuorlah: 1:47pm On Jan 31, 2013
Torlark: I remember d interview he had with Socioscope News Agency before the election (was among d crew team), the manifestoe night at Afrika Amphi Theatre, the arrest and Release-saburi-from-Ilesa Prison symposia at Awo Cafe, his testimony in court that Oyinlola rigged 2007 election, Oyinlola PDP claimed 30,000 votes from OAU polling booths while Great Ife Students were at home. Who voted then? Maybe the bats.
Saburi is an iconoclast in OAU. He must be a card carrying member of ACN now (Omo Aregbe)

That testimony part!

Some people have GUTs and deserve all d good that comes with it

Islam for Muslims / Re: Conversation Between A Non Muslim And A Muslim Cleric by nuorlah: 12:32pm On Jan 31, 2013
ooooood.

This is goooood

Sometimes analogies can drive the points you want to make better than simple words and explanations.

That the writer or Imam answered these this way doesn't mean he can not in another format.

The level of intelligence of your target audience and the circumstances of your discourse matter a lot.

Understanding these is what differenciates a knowledgeable Muslim from a da'ee
Islam for Muslims / Re: Conversation Between A Non Muslim And A Muslim Cleric by nuorlah: 12:24pm On Jan 31, 2013
Atheist:-D:
Pointless and silly.

None of these are reasonable explanations. The Imam is just using rhetoric to dodge the questions.

He dodged them only because you are not reasonable

I could be pretty happy with a lot of money.

Money can be sent out to do all kinds of work. It gives you power, respect and trust me joy.

The fear of what may not be available tomorrow depresses. With a lot of money, heck.

There's a lot in my skull dat only money can get. I work hard and it shall pay-someday.

armyofone: American/hollywood celeb. showing off their thousand ft closet I can understand.
Nollywood showing off LV sneaker or whatever, I don't understand. In a country where beggers litter the road, shouldn't
they be using their money for more charities? Those hollywoodites showing off (yes i watch Kimora Lee's showing the world hollywood material possession), but no one does charity more than Hollywoodites.

Misplaced priority showing off simple sneaker that match sh.it on Nigerian dirty roads all the time.

Now this makes so much sense. I bet some can buy such shoes and still be so so so rich. But if u av to pay through your nose while people around you are poor,it becomes a big problem.

1. MTV crib? that is to say MTV goes to them and they show off what they have got? that is to say (again) they were asked to show it off cos it's a way to entertain people? that is to say they did not just take a picture with their blackberries and post on the internet while shopping at LV shop? that is to say they have had those things inside their crib until asked to show it off?

2. My comparison to hollywood stars? wow, so one has to be an actor to be compared(Mind you not comparing their acting skills but their personal life and/or lifestyle) to Hollywood stars? I just realized I am not as intelligent as I taught. Holy molly me someone please give me a brain shocked shocked

Did you talk about inferiority complex? It appears you are d one suffering from it. Why d comparison with hollywood?

Is he in hollywood? Why should he behave like them?
What if this is how nija celebs do it and it becomes their mark. I am not in support of show off but the way you go about it,I dont agree with.

You are a known sadist btw.
