OEM car map will not work if there is no Nigerian map on it. You have to change to android screen type, you can then use Google maps or sygic for navigation

3.3L is timing belt while 3.5L is timing chain. If belt snaps interference engine you go hear am, but timing chain will last the lifetime of the vehicle as long as your maintenance is top notch.

3.3L is cast iron with aluminum top while 3.5L is all aluminum. If both engines overheat, the 3.5L will most definitely have more internal damage.

3.5L engine is more fuel economical than the 3.3L engine.

I will pick the 3.5L because of the timing chain and it's fuel economy over the 3.3L.provided both vehicles are in same condition.

It doesn't spoil laptop batteries I can guarantee you that.

The only issue with those gen are they cause surges most times which is bad for your laptop power pack and worst case your laptop board can take a hit also (burnt power supply Accessories, burnt IC, mosphet etc).

If you are going to use such gen, invest in a surge extension like APC surge protectors so those can take the hit for you instead of the power pack.

Finally did a scan, the codes are;

p0741— torque converter clutch circuit performance or stuck off

P2757– torque converter clutch pressure control solenoid control circuit performance or stuck off.

Both are showing pending

From online resources P2757 causes P0741, meaning if you can fix the P2757 you may not see P0741 again.

So in a nutshell just be saving for replacement transmission while you manage the current one.

1. Start by checking the wiring of the transmission if well fixed
2. Check the solenoids they can cause the issues you are facing.

If this two don't fix your issues then the Torque converter clutch and the valve body are next things to check.

Then it is time to find a technician with high quality scan tool to pull codes from the transmission. That will give a diagnosis of what to work with

The next day I was directed to a gear technician that said the car needs a reset or calibration . He did it successfully by tapping two wires around the battery area and also drained the complete ibeto oil and put in 8 litters Ws oil.. .

Who adviced you to put in 8L of ATF the standard for ATF change is to measure what you removed and refill with same quantity. Since you are doing drain and refill, your replacement litres shouldn't have exceeded 4L nah. How you came about pouring 8L for drain and refill beats my imagination.

2011 Honda Civic Sedan (1.8L R18 Engine, Auto)

True mileage is over 230k miles (US auction car, had a front-end collision before it was imported late last year).

The Main Problem:
The car runs fine in the morning and at night with or without AC. But during the hot afternoon after continuous driving like 30 minutes or high revs with AC on, the temperature gauge starts rising dangerously high. If I turn off the AC, the temp drops back to normal.

What Has Already Been Done (The Diagnostics):

Cooling System Alterations: Mechanics have already removed the thermostat and wired the cooling fans directly. I have also had the radiator flushed. It is still overheating despite all of this.

Pressure Test: We did a cooling system pressure test, and it passed. Mechanics are now blindly suspecting a weak water pump or a warped head gasket, but there is absolutely zero evidence to back that up (no milky oil, no bubbling coolant).

Next i want to inspect the condenser for bent fins or blockage, but who knows who can patiently diagnose the entire cooling system to find the exact fault in lagos, not trial and error. These mechanics lack patience, they just guess the problem and ask you to buy a new part that wont solve the problem.

The funny thing is that your issue could actually stem from a faulty radiator cover that just cost only 2k sef.

Users said the 4speed is more reliable than the 6 speed transmission. But buy a unit without transmission problems and take good care of it

I have also watched some YouTube video and I noticed the sensor is attached to the gearbox

That code has nothing to do with your issues. That code can just cause your speedo and odometer not to read again. The scan that was done only scanned engine related codes.

You need a high-end scanner to scan the transmission to pin point issues within it.

Hello everyone,

I have been having some issues with my Lexus rx330 AWD.

So if the car is parked for long like over night or for like 8hrs or more, it is difficult getting it to move.
Like in the morning if I engage drive the car won't move. I have to raise the engine speed for sometime before it will slowly begin move forward. Though once it moves it behaves normal if I disengage and re-engage the drive. The hesitation is no more.

This issues only happens with the drive gear, reverse works fine no matter when I use it.

I was suspecting a failing transmission pump but if this were the case the reverse gear will also be affected.

The transmission fluid level is okay and it doesn't smell burnt or look dark.

I recently did a filter cleaning like 6months ago.

I am seriously suspecting one of the solenoid valves that engages the forward gear or a blocked valve body.

Any suggestions?

You need to scan the transmission. The code will give a diagnosis for repair

2011 sonata to 2015 had a severe manufacturers defect which caused catastrophic failure.

I have always advised people to avoid anything Kia and Hyundai from 2011 to 2021 especially their 4 cylinder and GDI tech engines. If nah V6 go right ahead but 2.0T or 2.4L NA avoid those vehicles if you can.

8m is very small for Camry from 2007 tokunbo.

But you should be able to do Hyundai Elantra or accent 2010 for that or Honda civic, city, jazz or fit.

Mayor i know that some laptops have several options, same design and production year but specs are different so it is expected that some of what you sold may not have a dedicated GPU.

1. I would advice you reach out to the Habayomie and atleast still offer the RAM upgrade free cause from the screenshot of the advert you also advertise, the specs says 16gig ram.

2. The unit you sold has a GPU though i believe it is faulty but as long as it doesn't cause usability issues, i would absolve you of any wrong doing here cause the advert clearly didn't mention any Dedicated graphics card availability in the system.

1. I would advice you go in and pickup your balance RAM, lets start from that steps first.

2. I dont know what the warranty or guarantee says in the receipt given, but you bought a used goods, at best what anybody would give is few days to tops a week as return policy that is why it is paramount to test used goods to your satisfaction before parting away with your cash. Also the funny thing about systems is when you leave them idle, they can develop fault i do fix systems as a side hustle so i know. Just ensure that you utilize the system even if its to play music for a while on it atleast once a week.

3. The system according to mayor has been with you for upto six months, i dont think their return policy covers that, if the reason why you want to return is because of the missing dedicated GPU, i advise you find a way to sell it back, you will get more than what the seller is willing to offer you, just ensure it is clean and be open, should still command 200 to 250k

4. For the Price you saw something similar, i always say that the price of a goods is how much a willing buyer is willing to pay for it not holding fort for mayor but those other prices you may see they may not be available or have one or two issues.

5. for the dedicated GPU reply, it also seems mayor has cleared the reason for that, i wont talk much on that area.

if you need more information going forward, nairaland is a wealth of knowledge start a thread and ask about whatever laptop you have interest in and people would willing assist cause nobody knows it all.

1. You were sold a defective product. If after downloading the AMD drivers and you are getting errors, then the GPU is faulty which cannot emanate from the fact that a system was left unused for even 6months.

2. For the seller to say he didn't even know the system had dedicated GPU is a big fat lie he is a seller of a product and has been for years so feigning ignorance is a tactics to evade culpability.

3. For the ram except if the other 8gig ram was not well fixed, no story here, you didn't receive what was advertised.

4. Just to educate you, there are two types of dedicated GPU
A. workstation GPU which yours fall into, they are not that in high demand because they are mostly used for productivity like AutoCAD etc. the laptops with such aren't that expensive.
B. Gaming GPU which are always expensive in laptops depending on the generation.

5. Just that Nigeria is a lawless country, he already sold you a defective product with shady specs from what was advertised, if you can involve law enforcement, use the screenshot of the evidence you have just that it may not give a required outcome on your part and you will still spend money for them to act.

Honda Accord 2003-2005 is a good vehicle but not strong enough to take the stressful Uber work you intend to use it for.

1. 2003 to 2004 Accord had gear issues so best to start your search from 2005 to 2007 models and ensure you change the transmission fluid regularly with original Honda DW1.

2. The K24A engine is a very solid one but it would be better to buy a lower rated engine like the 1.5 to 1.8L available in the Honda civic or Honda city, you will burn less fuel with those and make more profit.

3. Accord of those years are susceptible to shaft failure, it would be safer to buy a civic or city or even a Honda fit or jazz if you can get those within your budget.

Not possible but from what I can see, the top soil has been eaten too deep by the machine that cleared that land. The soil will need sometime to regain back it's top soil which is the most fertile area, you can also assist it but using a cover crop or apply manure\fertilzer to the crops you plant.

Nah it is all these haulage tricycle. he got it on Hire purchase for 1.8m paid it off within 1yr and half, he owns it now. He doesnt use it daily, only on market days. Besides keke use in village has more demand than supply, there are many people who need the services here but very few keke to handle those tasks.
