Please my laptop (hp elitebook 1030g2) went off and refused to come on. Before that it used to restart randomly without any visible reason. I took it to a repair shop and they said it's the motherboard and it will need replacing. Please do you think it's the issue and how much do you think that will cost

I noticed its hard for me to learn, work and enjoy a tech field that I can't think of a problem to solve.

Example: Web3 - I have been working professionally for half a decade in tech and every time i go through any platform/language documentation or a tutorial, project ideas come to my mind. But, I have never had that same experience with blockchain tech for some reason.

Every field eventually rewards those who give their best.

So pick a technology/platform you are willing to lose sleep for.
hmm, I guess that's what I'm trying to figure out

I've come to realize that the best stack eventually is the one you should as a result of you considering its requirements vs your ability... Your time, previous exposure to things related to that field and the resources to learn.

Anyone can give an opinion based on their own strengths or based on general consensus, but you have to do the research yourself and find something out. It's easier to help you decide between three different choices than being blank about what to do.

6 - 12 months grin. Well....... Answer the above first and you'll get your answer
Okay, the areas that have peaked my interests are Web development (Frontend) and cybersecurity.

Hey guys. If you're interested in learning cyber security or hacking , hmu. let's tow the path together.
I have got the road map, gotten from experienced senior analysts.
I just started few days ago and I thought it could be awesome if I create a group and we learn together. We can share ideas, links to download resources and other things that can enable the development of our learning.

Note. This is not for those that will start asking "how can we hack Facebook and Instagram".

This is the roadmap
Networking fundamentals ( This is very essential and compulsory)
Google dorking
Linux (Compulsory)
Python, c#, c++ ( You can chose only python if you want)
Bash scripting
HTB, to test your knowledge
And other stuff.

Then, you can choose which field you want to follow. It can either you be in a red or a blue team.

how do I contact you.
Programming / Advice A Newbie Venturing Into Tech by nwaobitex: 4:58pm On Aug 29, 2023
I know this question most likely would have been asked countless times but please do me favour.

I am an undergraduate and I have always had interest in tech but I just have not had to will force to push myself to start.
I am finally tired of slacking and I have promised myself to start admist school and all.

I have always had interest in web development but from the look of things it seems that part of tech is getting oversaturated (correct me if I'm wrong)

So what I'm basically asking is advice on what tech stack you think is on demand and which do you think I should learn as a beginner entering this new world.
Of course my aim is to learn something and be job ready in the next 6-12 months.

Ps: I am a young vibrant boy willing to learn and I believe nothing is too difficult.

Have you tried uninstalling the graphic driver and installing it back?
So I uninstalled the driver and installed it back, that did not solve the issue. Then one of my friend told me it might be a battery problem.

I decided to swap batteries with my friend that has the exact same laptop (same battery), the problem still persisted.

I uninstalled the battery and powered the laptop without the battery(just with charger connected ) and since then the laptop has not restarted, so I don't know if I have narrowed it down to being a battery issue and why the battery would be causing such problem. Would buying a different battery be the solution?

Edited: I concluded too fast. It finally restarted but it took a while

There are so many refurbished laptops from Dubai out there, this model especially always have this Onboard RAM failure issue, where most times it powers on and doesn't display and gives the RAM beep sound.

I can go on and on,I won't even recommend it for a client, I get more than 5 cases sometimes in a week.
I was suspecting the ram or ssd, i did a ram test with a mem86 application and the system restarted while the process was on. Since the ram is soldered, is it going to be possible to fix?

Poco M4 Pro 5G Unboxing 'Power Black'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y17dedXWfx0

The Poco M4 Pro 5G is only an incremental upgrade from the M3 Pro at best but it does feel a lot smoother from the get go. It may have less cameras but that isn't such a bad thing considering that the primary lens is better and what most people use, especially on social media, is the main camera. It was wishful thinking to expect snapdragon to make its way back to the Poco M series especially now that the Poco X3 Pro prices have dropped drastically. For people who do not care about 5G or don't have 5G available in their country, the ugly Poco X3 Pro runs circles around this guy for all intents and purposes, asides good looks of course. The Poco X3 Pro makes a lot of phones(even from other brands) in the same price bracket, not worth the money.
Poco M4 Pro 5G variant retails between ₦130,000 - ₦155,000 ($229 - $271)

Poco M4 Pro 5G Specs
• 6.6" FHD+ 90Hz IPS LCD Display
• Plastic Back & Frame
• Corning Gorilla Glass 3
• Dimensity 810 5G CPU (6nm)
• 50MP + 8MP Back Camera
• 16MP Front Camera
• 4GB/64GB & 6GB/128 - RAM/Storage
• 5000mAh Battery (33Watt Charging)
• Android 11
• 163.6 x 75.8 x 8.8mm & 195g
how and where did you get this device pls

Unfortunately, xiaomi now release most of their budget/midrange phones with MTK chips nowadays. With your 100k budget, you should be able to get Redmi note 10 6gb 128gb used. If you can add like 20k, you should see redmi note 10 pro also used.

For upcoming one, I heard the redmi note 11 global series will get SD chips, Let's watch and see.
I thought this note 11 is out sef. When are we going to be getting it in naija
