Each time i read topics about temperament esp, this 12types, i think i've got traces of the 4. But the author made it clear that you can only have a mix of 2. Well, i think i'm mel/chol.

Where you able to do this naturally? @bolded
Not really, actually I started by teaching my classmates using the blackboard during prep in secondary school, then taking Sunday School in church, going for debate and quiz competitions and so on especially anything involving passing across information to others apart from that count me out I don't know how to do conversation but I can argue out my point any day anywhere provided the discussion has to do with religious/academic matters or current affairs.
FamilyRe: Introverts Lounge (Extroverts Pls Keep Off !!) by nwapastor: 8:17am On Oct 10, 2014
Yea I'm an introvert. I'm the shy type can't start or maintain conversation but can address a crowd (it's my profession). Don't like attending social gatherings except it's a wedding, church or academic programs and when I do I keep to myself or talk to just close friends. Don't have much friends, people wonder how I even relate to the few friends I have but the truth is: I'm an extrovert when I'm with my friends.

Some people think I'm proud or something but I don't care much provided I have a book to read, and I'm always holding one.

The certainty of Christ’s soon return sets you free to hope, to rejoice in the worst of circumstances, and to live with purpose.

Wow! Seeing is not always believing.

‘Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness’ (Psalms 29:2 KJV). Holiness is a beautiful thing when you fully understand and practice it.
So help me God!

Longest time. Greetings to all that have kept this thread going till date (@lateef4me, Odunharry, Alwaystrue), God bless you all. I've actually been following from afar.

Wow @ 'learn to cast': You don’t procrastinate when a blood-sucking bug lights on your skin. You don’t say, ‘I’ll take care of it in a moment.’ No, you give the creature the slap it deserves. As long as you’re willing to live with worry, you’ll never overcome it.

As for the word for today on 2nd Oct: But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him. I noticed for the first time that it did not say : But he did not know that his hair has been shaven, which means it wasn't completely about his 'hair' but his actions before then, which also means that it is possible that if his hair was accidentally shaven (without him contributing to it in a negative way) God might still be with him the shaven hair notwithstanding (so I think).

Bless you.

Keep it coming.

rofemiguwa: Funny how the ones shouting marriage is not everytin,ur life doesn't end with marriage are the married ones. #justthinkingout# why una no remain single so you could be role models to show marriage doesn't define u as a woman.

Aiit am out!!!
Marriage is good and very good. What I'm against is our ladies keeping their lives on stand still and brooding over the fact that they are still single, always feeling depressed, lonely and pressurized. Let's move on with our lives what will be will be, at the appropriate time our 'Mr' right will show up.
FamilyRe: Single Ladies: Let's Share Our Experiences Here by nwapastor(op): 9:12am On Sep 22, 2014
I actually started this thread for single ladies who are single and depressed. I wanted them to offload, share their experiences and also get encouraged by those of us who have been there but are no longer there. Not just because we are married or engaged but because we have realized that there is more to life than being single or married. Believe me I know what it's like to be single, depressed and lonely. I also know what it's like to take charge of one's life, have a focus, pursue it and get it irrespective of marital status. Hence I started the thread with my not so good experiences but I guess the way most of us criticized and talked down on such people made them not to show up. It's okay. It's also good to know that there are lots of single ladies with positive mindset. Whichever way I'm sure someone somewhere has learnt something. Life is about what you can offer, if you have the right stuff in you the world will stand still for you your marital status notwithstanding. Thank you.

Wow! so much misunderstanding of my earlier post. What if I tell you that I belong to the later part of that story. Someone who was concerned that I might not get a husband due to my academic qualification told me the price she had to pay just to get married (dropping out of school). In my mind then I was like: what ladies do just to get married na wao. So I just thought maybe there are people like her here looking for someone to tell them what to do so as to get a husband. But not for me and people like me we are too focused for that.

I welcome all those new on the thread and also thank you all for keeping the thread going.
FamilyRe: Single Ladies: Let's Share Our Experiences Here by nwapastor(op): 4:57pm On Sep 21, 2014
Thanks to all who have been keeping this thread going with their meaningful contribution. @ Spicykev thanks for sharing. I have a question for the men in the house: please can you share some of the things that can make you never to propose to a lady. Maybe someone can learn from you and shorten her single days by amending her ways if need be. But then I must add that what might look like a weakness in one might be a strength in another. I know of someone who dropped out of school because the man that proposed to her told her that if she continued going to school he will not marry her cos all the girls in higher institutions are prostitutes. The girl dropped from school and got married. I also know of another lady that continued going to school up to PhD level and people were telling her that she might not find husband cos she has gone to school too much and men will be scared of marrying her, but she too is no longer single.
FamilyRe: Single Ladies: Let's Share Our Experiences Here by nwapastor(op): 6:36pm On Sep 20, 2014
My advice to single ladies: don't put your life on hold/pause cos you are waiting for Mr Right: keep moving, go to school, get a life, be happy, be complete, get busy, learn a craft/handwork. You can be alone and not be lonely, find what makes you happy and do it. Enjoy the single days cos one day you might look back and wish you had done more useful things with your waiting days. Don't let anybody convince you that you are too: young/old, beautiful/ugly, educated/non-educated, wealthy/poor, classy/classless, tall/short, dark/fair, spiritual/churchy, social/withdrawn e.t.c to get a husband. It's a lie if you look around you you'll see a married person that falls into one of those groups.

jennykadry: Aha not so innocent afterall ehn? I was expecting a come back for calling you mad but Unfortunately for you darling I am already married with adorable kids. Don't worry, you will soon join the band wagon with your supposed fiance and before you query me further, don't worry, I am the last born in my family grin. You never see depression.

#seeapsychiatrist grin
I can guess your age. As I wasn't referring to marriage in the post you quoted. I knew you were married all along and also guilty as charged. I knew you were out to annoy me but you came late Jesus has taken care of that
FamilyRe: Single Ladies: Let's Share Our Experiences Here by nwapastor(op): 4:54pm On Sep 20, 2014
jennykadry: See a psychiatrist you depressed woman. Why not wallow in your depression instead of dragging others down with you? Here I was thinking you were sane only for me to read the nonsense you wrote about late marriage.

You are mad
You wanted me to state an age bracket so that you can attack me on it. I outsmarted you and you can't stand it wow!

jennykadry: Like you, I used to be a church girl tongue Don't mind Coogar, let him continue deceiving himself. Coogar will be the type to install a monitoring sensor on his 23 year old daughter's phone and woe betide that man that will venture to lock lips with her. Someone will end up in ER and I can assure you, it wouldn't be Coogar grin
What happened along the way? Jesus still loves you. The door is open for you to come back home.

If you are in Nigeria, check into yaba left.
I know some people are scared of sharing their experiences here because of people like you.

On the issue of self stigmatization and depression. That we are talking like this here does not mean that we sulk like this in real life. No it's just that this thread allows it if not who cares. If you see me in real life you won't believe I care a dot about marriage 'cos I'm too busy for that. I am a career woman, sometimes I fear that marriage might come between me and my career which I don't want (a thread on that was on NL sometime ago and I was following that thread). So please allow us to offload and share. It is medicine for the soul.
