I called twice to complain and nothing came out of the calls. I decided to count my loss and move on.

I forgot to add, they forgot some of their tools on my bonnet. When i turned back from vgc to them, there was no parking space inside and i was asked to park outside. So i parked, opened my bonnet, lo and behold they left about 2 tools(i dont know the name but it was not spanners or screw driver) in my bonnet.
Mr Glenn came to meet me outside and when i showed him the forgotten tools he exclaimed that they were expensive.

Would i recommend them to anyone? Definitely No.

On the positive side; their jerk chicken was really good so maybe they should close the mechanic side and focus on food

I have taken a car for AC issue to Radauto in 2017 . I was billed 180k(excluding workmanship)for compressor and total overhaul of cooling system. I waited over 6 weeks for the parts to arrive Nigeria, took the car there and it was "fixed" and i paid for workmanship and gas(i cant remember amount)
Driving out from their shop to vgc, there was mild traffic, Ac wasnt working. I drove back to them and complained. They said it wasnt tested in traffic
Long story short, took the car to an Ibo guy at Abijo. He changed the whole cooling system again with tokunbo and AC is chilling till date. I ended up selling Rad's compressor to aboki for chicken change because no one else would buy it

Turn on the ignition to allow all the instrument panel lift come on, then locate the odometer toggle button and toggle it till Trip A, keep the button pressed down turn off the ignition and then turn on the ignition whilst still holding the odometer button. You should notice series of dashes (- - - - - -) on the odometer when it clears, the odometer should go to (0 0 0 0 0 ) then return the mileage display. This shows you’ve reset the maintenance required warning.

I am not with her to do that. Are u saying the maintenance required is not a sign of any problem? That’s all I need to know.

It’s my mums car. She changed oil and filter as advised by her mechanic. As for fuel pump, she changed it because the car stopped on the road, she called her mechanic and he said it’s fuel pump and changed it and next day, maintenance required light has been blinking once she starts the car.

Do not be sarcastic because if I knew, I would not be here asking.

Pls where can I scan (and possibly repair) a 2012 Rav 4 at a good rate, at Sangotedo area of Lagos ? The “maintenance required” light has been coming up whenever we start the car for the past four days
Oil , filter and fuel pump was changed recently by a road side mechanic.

Once you are fully vaccinated and have your vaccination card/certificate u have no problem. I know someone that traveled late last month with Virgin atlantic

Pls I need help. I tried renewing my parent s b1/b2 visa. They already have a profile on the appointment booking. My mum is the main applicant. I was able to edit my mum s details and edit to her new passport no. But wasnt able to do that for family member (my dad). His old passport no is still there. Should I just book it like that then he carries his new passport along to get his visa? Because the appointment confirmation print out will bear his name and old passport no. Kindly advise pls

Book it like that. Happened to me and I called the consulate , they said it can’t be changed and it’s fine to book, just go with the old and new passports

did I say otherwise? Our first biometrics was 2013 June and will expire next year. We are renewing (our 4th Canada visa) and paid for a new biometrics so that we can get another 10 years biometrics validity

I’m in same boat. Our old biometrics expires next year so we paid $170 alongside our visa application fees for new biometrics. We got passport request on Monday with a “biometrics validity” letter , stating we must pay a new fees if we want to extend our biometrics. We are wondering, what happens to the $170 we already paid?

My parents submitted their IW yesterday, no questions or interview. Appointment was for 7:45am, my dad was on the queue by 7:15am and he was out by 7:30am. On Tuesday night, we received eved an email that we should fill a new DS-160 forms if the one we submitted was older than 6 months ago. I quickly filled a new one for my mum(hers was filled June last year, my dad, this Jan) . I tried to update her DS-160 but I could not so I simply printed the new confirmation and attached it to the old one.

Putting it out for anyone that might be in same shoes

UK lawyers are not cheap so she might be better starting with getting a maintainance agreement in Nigeria and trying to see if this REMO can be added to enforce it

However legal waka is not cheap anywhere , she better off having a one to one chat with the guy . Asking him that it time he also contributes towards the child. ... she can then let him know of this Remo and she use that if she has to . Sometimes dialogue works sometimes it doesn't but you gat to try first . Single parenthood is not easy.

I can't imagine funding my child 100 percent while the dad does nothing. I will be furious and be angry everyday. It not something I can even imagine so my heart goes out to your sister. Its not easy.

My sister has not complained to us about the bills but its sad watching our once very bubbly and full of life little sister become a shadow of herself, all she makes and gets goes fully into the childs upbringing. she doesnt socialize or complain to anyone probably cuz she doesnt want to be judged or blamed . This is the reason the whole family is trying so hard to ensure the childs dad is made to contribute i saw the childs school fees receipt this term (over 200k) and became very furious. How can she be dong all this silently while the guys does nothing? we have made some progress between yesterday and today

they don’t pick calls or respond to emails and they can come up with different rules eg this Covid test. I will advise u to do your PCR test. Better to have it than to miss your flight cuz of it

we want to try the remo route first but my sister is suggesting we have a lawyer from Nigeria send him a paid mail via DHL with acknowledgment enclosed to his place of work to notify him of her intentions first and give him one last chance to do the right thing. Since the final decision lies with her, we would oblige to her and let the lawyer try that too even though me and the rest of my family are so vexed we would prefer we go straight to Remo.
