THE IGBOS ARE A SIGNIFICANT BLOC IN RIVERS STATE

Everybody who understands politics in Rivers State understands that the Igbos are a significant bloc in this state, and anybody with the support of the Igbos is already a front-runner. And because of that, every political group focuses attention on the Igbos.

The igbos have never come together to endorse only one candidate. This is the first time they are doing that and I am the beneficiary of their kindness.

SENATOR ABE TAKES CONSULTATION TO KOKO KINGDOM

Frontline Governorship candidate in Rivers State and flag-bearer of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) for the March 11 Governorship election, Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe has consulted with HRH King Frank Iritamunoke Hezekiah Koko, Opuchiri IV, Amayanabo of Koko Kingdom and his council of chiefs in his palace in Port Harcourt.

Senator Abe eloquently shared his vision of peace, prosperity and progress of Rivers State and the restoration of the cherished values of Rivers people to the monarch and his people.

He spoke on security, job creation, creation of conducive environment for business to thrive, respect for traditional institutions among others.

So impressed was his HRH King Frank with the extempore presentation of Senator Abe that he commanded that the ancient bell be sounded seven times before he responded in agreement with the programs of Senator Abe and the SDP in Rivers State.

The Monarch also told the Senator that his kingdom is open for Senator Abe to campaign and canvass for votes at any time.

Senator Abe has been accorded so much respect, regard and honor everywhere in the state he has gone to solicit for support. The feedback to his solicitation has always been positive, an indication that Rivers people believe in his ideas and are ready to give him the opportunity to prove those ideas as Governor of Rivers State.

RIVERS NEW INDUSTRIAL HUB: ABE’S IDEA TO UNLEASH ENTREPRENEURSHIP, INDUSTRIALIZATION AND PROSPERITY

The first campaign promise of Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe, Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) is to build a new, well-planned and modern industrial hub in Rivers State to ignite an era of increased entrepreneurship, industrialization and prosperity for all Rivers people and the business community.

The policy will be a deliberate and well thought-out, well-planned and well-executed state policy to revive industrialization and entrepreneurship in Rivers State in order to create a wave of prosperity that will strengthen economic stability of the state.

The new industrial hub will be fitted with all the accoutrements of the possibilities that ICT offers in order to create unmatchable advantages for companies and industries in Rivers State.

You will recall that that the old Trans-Amadi Industrial Layout in Rivers State was built by then Premier of Eastern Region when Nigeria was operating regionalism and Rivers State was part of the Eastern Region.

To give credit to the initiators, the Trans-Amadi Industrial Layout helped boost the industrial capacity of Rivers State with many companies trooping into the area with concomitant employment for Rivers people.

Unfortunately, successive governments in Rivers State did nothing to improve the business climate in the area and today, the place is a shadow of itself, with many companies migrating to better business climates in other states.

All that will change, however, with Abe’s original idea to build a new industrial hub fitted with 21st century facilities to facilitate business growth and massive industrialization.

With Abe’s promise to create conducive atmosphere for business, we can hope that companies and businesses will come into the state and create prosperity even more than we used to have in Rivers State of old.

That is why all eligible voters should vote for Senator Magnus Abe of the SDP to build a society of which all of us will be proud.

The PDP Presidential Campaign SPOKESMAN for RIVERS State Dr. Leloonu Nwibubasa has advised the RIVERS State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike to stop misleading the good people of the state by deliberate misinformation. This he said while reacting to statements made by the governor during the inauguration of the state gubernatorial campaign council. Dr Nwibubasa said it wasn't correct for governor Wike to claim that the PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar did not reach out to him to send nominees from the state to the Presidential Campaign Council of the party. Rather it's the Gov that denied RIVERS PEOPLE more representation in the campaign council by refusing to send in nominees.
Again RIVERS People will not be deceived or hoodwinked to support any other Presidential candidate apart from Atiku Abubakar on the basis of Governor Wike's twisted 'state interest'. It is in public domain that no other Presidential candidate has the interest of Rivers State at heart like Atiku Abubakar. Atiku's businesses in the state has provided more jobs in Rivers State and trained over seven hundred thousand people in Rivers State in various skills and craft. His investments has created wealth and boost the economy of the state . He is a friend of Rivers People, that's the reason despite Gov Wike's antagonism he still appointed many very credible Rivers sons into his Presidential Campaign council.
It is a great surprise and also of grave concern that Gov Wike openly declared our leaders, fathers and kinsmen 'enemies of the state' for their decision to support our Party's Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar.
Rivers People must recall that few months ago, the same 'enemies of the state' traversed the length and breath of this country risking their lives on land and in the air to help Gov Wike in his ill-fated Presidential bid.
They gave their best. If their best could not push Gov Wike through, should they also join Gov Wike to destroy the party that made them, With Gov Wike being the highest beneficiary?
Also remember, that though Barr Wike was not the most qualified to be governor of Rivers State in 2015, more so for reasons bothering on equity and fairness, Gov. Amaechi having done two terms from the same Ikwerre ethnic group, these men who are now named enemies of the state for the love of PDP, for party cohesion and unity supported Barr Wike in no small measure to be governor of Rivers State. Who has stolen the memories of my dear governor. Who has bewitched you to attempt to destroy womb from which you were made. My dear governor, in the words of Dame Patience Jonathan " there is God oo".

My dear brother and sister from Rivers State, do not allow anyone push you against your brothers for any reason. Who you vote for is your personal choice born of your personal conviction.
We will continue to support Atiku Abubakar because of the verifiable evidence of his productive passion for the development of our dear state. Atiku is set to do more for Rivers State and our dear country.
