so many unmarried women today are actually the architect of their making, when tthey were younger potential suitors came or men wooed them but they only saw an imediate pictuure of the men not future prospects, they wanted flashy cars and luxuries but alas as they kept waiting for such utopia it never came but yet men came and went while time kept ticking, this ultimately leads to desperation as she gets older, she can easily fall for men with bad motives!

Now those who have linked BH to religious war have bn vindicated, no more compromising and patronizing statements like "they dont represent islam or its purely political not religious" we now know who they trully are and what they stand for...Its an all out Jihad against Christianity QED!!!!!
Politics / Shekau: We Are Fighting A Religious War by nyabingi(m): 10:30pm On Dec 28, 2013
Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, declared on Friday that Nigerians should not be under any illusion that the war being waged by the sect is an ethnic war, saying the group is out on a religious war against President Goodluck Jonathan and all Christians in the country.

“They try to brainwash the people that we are fighting an ethnic war. No, we are fighting a religious war, we are fighting Jonathan, we are fighting Christians,” Shekau, who has a N50million bounty placed over his head, declared in a video message sent to some selected journalists in Hausa language .

The terrorist leader, who is also the most wanted person in the country and also wanted in the United States, said his members were in total submission to the will of God and would have eaten human beings if they were given divine instruction.

“Had Allah allowed us to eat them (humans), we would have ate (eaten) them but we are not cannibals because we are not spirits or animals. As for killing, we will kill (for) Allah, if he says we should decapitate, we should amputate the limbs, we should mutilate,” he declared.

He maintained that Boko Haram has never done anything against the will of God, saying that was responsible for series of victories recorded against the Nigerian state and its agencies, Shekau claimed it was God that has continued to give them the booty of their enemies, which the sect has continued to loot without any let or hindrance.

“This is to show our muslim brethren that victory comes from Allah. This is just a tip of the ice berg regarding the booty Allah has blessed us with, the booty which took our brothers day and night to cart away.

“Our fighters stormed Bama (military) barracks. Allah threw them (troops) into confusion through some servants of Allah who dedicated themselves to Allah. Allah finished them. They bragged, they said whatever pleased them to the extent of claiming they have cleansed Bama, now that they have sticks-wielding vigilantes. Even Jonathan praised them, saying Bama is steadfast.

“It is in the same Bama that our brothers pulverised 21 armoured tanks. People in multitudes were killed, bodies scattered all over and the sight would astonish any onlooker. Soldiers hid under blankets in their rooms and our fighters pursued them and blow out their brains,” he boasted.

Shekau said the destruction of Damaturu, Maiduguri and later Bama by his sect is victory from Allah, insisting that the victories was beyond human comprehension, surprising even the sect member.

“We were amazed by the victory in Damaturu, then a greater victory was achieved in Maiduguri and now Bama operation is better than Maiduguri. And tomorrow we will go to…,”he said amid laughter and shouts of Allahu Akbar by his followers.

Politics / Re: Tony Elumelu - The Next CBN Governor by nyabingi(m): 8:16pm On Dec 28, 2013
PapaBrowne: I think the post of CBN would kind of belittle Elumelu. The guy is poised for much bigger. Boggling him down in regulatory bureaucracy would not cut it for Elumelu. The trending words today in global finance are impact investment, conscious capitalism and social entrepreneurship. Elumelu is at the forefront of these three with his Africapitalism model.

For a regulatory institution like CBN, we need folks who are long on policy framework design and implementation. A Soludo type who can easily create policy and convert it into practicality. Not a lot of people come to mind.

you are correct, wish others see things this way, the cbn guvnorship is not cutout to politics and personal sentiments, that was where sanusi got it wrong, we need the likes of clement isong and soludo!

Phema,
How do you know exactly the number of guests that were served?
She could serve 140 guests and 'aproximate' the number to 200 guests.
So I think, if you don't mind the stress, you rent plates and cutleries and buy your own food stuffs, then she gives you a lump sum for her services.

what if you get friends and relations to cook while u serve with takeaway packs and serve high table with glass plates etc?
Fashion / Re: Can You SHINE With An Aba Made Product by nyabingi(m): 8:41pm On Dec 08, 2013
Aba made shoes, shirts and complete suites are shiped to dubai where most nigerians go to shop, the era of bad products from Aba is gone, these guys are too good, they manufacture to international standard and most of the designs can never be found anywhwre in the fassion industry globally, they import their materials like genine leather, fabrics and acessories then they set down to design, i have lot of them Aba designers as friend and have seen them ship their products to dubai, the truth is that most of the designers people wear these days are actually Aba made!!
