Politics › Re: Mass Defection From Apc To PDP In The North Is Not A Surprise Here Is The Reason by Nyamuri: 3:22pm On Oct 30, 2022 |
You guys keep talking about division and sharing of northern votes between 3 candidates in the north, sounds like a broken record.. but let me state some facts 1. Your not a northerner, whatever you wrote is just the figment of ur imagination molded from whatever you hear and see on social media 2. Although kwankwasso is famous, I and many of his supporters won't waste our votes on him knowing he won't and can't win. Kwankwasso can only get significant votes in Kano and Jigawa state 3. Most of the northern politicians govs, senators, HOA, HOR, LG chairmen, foot soldiers etc all rely on Tinubu's presidency for relevance. Hence, will do anything to win 4. For argument sake, let's say hypothetically 3 of them does succeed in sharing northern votes SE= 10m Kaduna, Kano and Katsina state= 13m Let's say PO gets 100% of SE votes(which is impossible), whatever Tinubu will get in those 3 state would cut PO votes by at least 40% Not forgetting NE= 12m NC= 14m SW= 18m 5. PO is not even in contention for presidency base on calculations on ground 6. The states that will definitely give Tinubu 400k or more in north are; Borno, Yobe, Kogi, kwarra, Niger NwaMamaIwota: lol I predicted this.
Northerners cannot afford to split their votes into 3 Atiku Tinubu and Kwankwaso or even 4 because I heard that the Mustapha guy has some followers too.
They're going for Atiku being their best chance and due to the acceptance of Atiku in some southern region and Middle belt. (like or hate it Atiku is more acceptable in the south than tinubu while Obi is the most acceptable )
I keep laughing when people undermine Peter Obi chances they should go and check 2015 stats with almost every northern states and South West including Middle belt for Buhari yet he defeated Jonathan with like 2 million votes which kano alone gave Buhari 3 million no void votes. now let's analyze it like this. 2015 the change tsunami was sweeping everywhere except those region like SE/SS that saw it coming just like we're already seeing this renewed hope failure. Buhari was a sole northern candidate and with cult followers even when he was in CPC so almost every northern governor worked for him. but today we have 3 or even 4 contestants gunning for northern votes. Tinubu chose Muslim/Muslim ticket to stand a chance Atiku a core north loved by the north (check 2019 stats with Buhari on ballot ) Kwankwaso with his northern followers. even almustapha sef has followers.
So before a candidate can get from 800 to 1 million votes in kano alone but next year it won't be like that. unless Kwankwaso collapses his structure to any major contestants trust me no candidate will be able to win any north states with anything more than 200k votes due to vote splitting and of course BIVAS.
This is what Northerns don't want that's why they're decamping massively to Atiku side if not they'll loose the ability to determine the outcome of the election next year. well they know how to play politics.
I urge southerners to pitch their tents with Peter Obi and Middle belts too.
for now this election is still open and any major contestants can win. |

Politics › Re: Does The APC Intend To Manipulate The Presidential Election Of 2023? by Nyamuri: 12:37pm On Oct 29, 2022 |
Yes, you can believe whatever u want.. u can even believe elections won't take place and Tinubu will just be declared winner or whatever conspiracy theories.. but it won't change the fact Tinubu will win the election whether u like it or not FreedomfromtheT: This is my sincere take on the Fitch prediction that Tinubu will win the 2023 election. The prediction which dismisses the earlier real opinion polls favouring Peter Obi's victory makes me suspect that the ruling APC want to manipulate the results, perhaps in connivance with the Electoral Commission, the security agencies up to the Supreme Court to favour their candidate. I suspect that the prediction is a paid propaganda to suit the planned manipulation of the election and the aftermath. The said prediction even goes ahead to say there will be discontent from Nigerians about the results. If the results reflect the will of the majority, why will there be a massive discontent? In 2015, a sitting president lost despite having millions of supporters yet there was no discontent. For such to be predicted, in my opinion, means the predictors expect the ruling party to manipulate the results and hand power to their candidate irrespective of the popular will of the electorate hence the popular discontent. Some will claim that the new electoral act makes it difficult to rig the election. I beg to differ. That something is difficult doesn't mean it is not possible. The highjacking of the voter registration by the ruling party in Lagos for instance making it hard or impossible for some intending voters from some certain regions to register sends a clear signal. Also the haste at which the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) stopped the online registration as well as the physical one and refused to extend it despite that a lot are yet to register sends another signal that they are not really independent as their name implies. Be alert. Say no to election manipulation. I expect the supporters of those who intend to manipulate or rig the election to throw insults and bring up their usual tribal rants. They are entitled to their opinion. Those who intend to rig the election will surely fail. God will disappoint them. Nigeria will win, be more united and prosperous and overcome her challenges through a visionary president by the grace of God. God bless Nigeria. |

Mtchw! Abeg shift! Deductive reasoning my ass. There is nothing that suggests or connotes any form of rigging in that article, it's just the figment of your imagination, a wishful thinking intending to console yourself The reference of rural area implies most of the population are not on social media to vote or influence majority of online polls on Twitter etc that have been favouring PO obynzo: There is what is called deductive reasoning. you should learn it. it was not quoted but a smart person can deduce from the write up that the rating was based on the premise that the rural voters will not be knowledgeable and will be exposed to rigging. hence the statement that 36% internet penetration is in Nigeria and the bulk of voting is in rural areas and the urban affluent are tilted to Obi and they make a small percentage of the population. |

Quote where it was expected the ruling party will rig the election maestroferddi: You are happy after billions have been spent to procure a favourable rating from Fitch who have zero clue about the political climate in Nigeria.
If you can read between the lines to save your live, you would have seen the supposition which the prediction was made...
The prediction was based on the expectation that the ruling party would rig the election to stay in power...
However, Nigerians are ready to resist any attempt to rig this forthcoming election...
Minus rigging, Tinubu has close to zero chance of winning.. |
