From history, while we in the south are always quick to shout "born to rule mentality of the north" we are actually showing that we do not mind cutting our nose to spite our face by wanting PDP to go north just to wrestle power back from APC even though we know that isn't the fair thing to do.

What happens to PDP giving their ticket to SE and APC to SW while they both pick their running mates from any zone in the north to make the contest interesting and fair? After all, SE is traditionally for PDP while SW is slightly for APC.

In 2003,2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019 North heavily voted their candidates.

APC get the lowest support in Nigeria from the south east

They also get the highest support in the South from the South West.

Zoning any office to the South East zone is like Signaling the End of APC because it would mean less vote from the South west and lesser vote from the East who will likely vote PDP.

And if by chance PDP fields a Northerner, that is going to be likely the End of APC as we know it.

Yes pdp should target a candidate that will give them 45-50% from the north and they are coasting to victory

1. PDP is broke, they will still give the Ticket to Godfather or Candidate who pays the most. Not necessarily the best they have.

2. APC have the spread, resources, supporters, power, options of candidates and what it takes to retain power beyond 2023.

3. Politicians out of power are like fish out of water, the question is how long can they endure before decamping to greener pastures.

4. Those of us who reelected Buhari will never vote for PDP to return, loot and dismantle everything Mr. President is putting in place.

Summary, PDP will be wasting any money spent on 2023 Presidential election.

Please what is buhari putting in place and mind you apc only has the spread in the North and not in the south.

SE/SS =ATIKU 80%, TINUBU 18%
SW= ATIKU 46%, TINUBU 54%.

You guys can see that tinubu struggled to deliver lagos to buhari and had to rely on bullion van and thugs and that was why El-Rufai said what he said after the elections .

2019 voting was testimony to the political sophistication of the Yorubas. Many felt Buhari did not do well enough and I agree with them. Where we differ is that I felt he is best till 2023 and I am sure Atiku is worse and would open the floodgate to the mindless looting PDP are used to.

In 2023 it will be new players who have never been President so forget the SW voting healthily for Obi. Atiku and Obi benefitted from the underperformance of PMB in some section and the crippling recession PDP caused before they left that Buhari could not do much to reverse in the time frame many Nigerians hankered for.

I made my point but you wrote a long epistle talking of my tribe. When pdp had a fair outing in the SW was it not a SE VP against a SW VP?

Tinubu will transform Nigeria with his grand plans and strategy. Obi is at best a stilted accountant. Tinubu is the closest thing to Awolowo Nigeria has today. Whether Tinubu become President is not my call but I know, as someone who is focused on real and tangible things we have all seen, he will make a great President. Certainly the best we have had since 1999.

You know nothing about the fire trucks. He bought trucks and equipped the fire service in anambra state during his time which was why he could visit the incidence scene unlike the current governor.

As for riches, men don't try to compare, tinubu was in power when Peter obi declared his assets and was the richest public office holder in Nigeria in 2006.
