At this crucial point you should start being objective and stop deceiving yourself, if you are part of folks thinking Amaechi would get the ticket, ask yourself these questions.

1. What move is Amaechi making at this really important moment.

2. Where is Amaechi going to get the delegates at the primary.

3. Would Apc zone the ticket to where they opposition, SS is actually the pdp biggest region.

Anyone pushing a southern candidate for the PDP only intends the APC to win and continue their stranglehold on Nigeria. Only a popular northern candidate for the PDP can wrestle power from APC and they won't be able to rig it and make it a north-south dispute or Muslim - Christian dispute. Mind you i am a Christian and PDP supporter. But I'm not being sentimental about the realities of 2023.

APC is strongly pushing for a southern candidate for the PDP because that error holds all the permutations for them to declare that they won the 2023 elections without civil disobedience or any significant challenge when they declare their rigged result.

A PDP candidate from the south can win the whole South and North Central and emerge the president.
If PDP fields a northerner and APC fields a southerner acceptable to majority in the south, the APC will still win

First of all, this marriage issue came as a rude shock.
