I hear people talking about great businesses and how they want to be part of it, they talk about how much they have and seek for people's advice on how best to invest the little capital they have saved. I visit this segment when I want to lighten up a bit cause here is very funny.

Investment is no joke and I think some people here need to realize that, you can just invest and expect total guarantee because it took you 4years to gather the money. Investment is about real life risk and it's advice you take a healthy risk. Get enlighten about the sector you targeting and make some research about the viability of that market.

My advice for every young guy like me is to invest in his hubby, commercialize the hubby! If you spend close to 14hrs and above online everyday like me, I encourage you to commercialize it"yahoo yahoo out of it" if you love talking and you can speak good English, commercialize it, if you are a beautiful girl with good looks, commercialize it"prostitution out" try modeling or take nice pics from a good photographer"BB pics out" and use the pics to pitch growing brands to represent the brand as an ambassador.

The need for us all to embark on start up is of essence and I encourage you all to commercialize true ideas and bright initiatives. Don't think your idea is small or childish, after all most big brands started that way.

Am social media driven and I see it as the business of today and of tomorrow. Doing the work of yesterday's men and achieving the success of tomorrow's men which we all belong to.

Woke up wednesday morning with a ping on my BBM, as usual i ignored the ping for like 20mins, besides i was not expecting any appointment via BBM. finally i opened the message and to my surprise it was a song sent from a contact i hardly ping with. And it reads ''Please listen to this song Sir'' at first i felt disturbed by the ping cause i don't even know the guy in question either the singer of the song as well. after all the stories and contemplation i decided to listen to the song and here is my view on the song and the artist.The artist in question is called Gwin and the song is titled Pull Em Down, i bet if any of you have heard of him,he is simply a new artist trying to promote a song just like every Wana be artist. the song is classic and beautiful, his sound texture and maturity towards the song is exceptional. Over the years, Nairaland had top rated companies as major clientele within its stable, gradually, these brands are refusing to renew their Ad contracts. And the reasons are not far fetched. Hence, the need to individually contribute positively to our beloved Nairaland is of paramount importance to all members! And this is my contribution.

Its said, what you do not condemn, you condone and what you condone, you are responsible. Its on this bases that I am sharing my ideas with you. And I must commend your brand for creating the opportunity. Your brand would be held responsible if you condone your errors.

Firstly, your front page is no longer prestigious as it used to be years back. All we now see is Iyanya, Davido, Wizkid and girlfriend and all, You must understand that your brand came long before they arrived and as such, they can't make you rather its the other way round. Don't get me wrong, leveraging with these celebrities success stories is cool but when it becomes your major content, then we have a problem.

Secondly, your updates comes very late, other useless forum and blogs now post trending updates before you and I find it so annoying cause you are the number one in the business! Your brand has the abilities to get first hand information whenever and wherever instead of copying and pasting 60% of your contents from Sahara report. Please do update occurring issues timely ahead of these blogs regardless of the copy and paste.

Thirdly, your moderators should pay attention to the most active sections "Politics, Romance and Business". I read so many lovely resourceful materials from members and to my surprise they never make front page. And if the Moderators think they can do better, then they should give us better write up instead of all the picture stories here and there. Am not interested if this makes front page or not but the moderators should pay attention to ideas and catch up on it when it comes.

Here is the truth about Nairaland, it takes nothing less to $400,000 to compete with Nairaland regardless of her stay in the business. Anybody can copy what you put up here, just same way you take from Sahara report but, creativity and professionalism has kept this brand strong and steady. Hence, its key that you keep that same spirit alive!

I would want to clearify to all yah, that am not in anyway trying to say ill of this partner. Hey NLs.... I own one of the fastest growing consulting firm here in Lagos, I started the frm with my Ex and she is currently th GM of the firm. The firm is currently in a big deal with the FG and since this development, she has taken up a new characters that are detrimental to the company's interest.
However, I have kept to my end as the CEO of the company, I have been professional about my dealings with her, my relationship with her presently on business level but her am not certain about. She is not keeping to her duties and this am not happy about at all. We have had several meetings relating to her performance and her inabilities to deliver in relation to her position and percentage wise as well. In course of our partnership agreements, I have kept all agreements, payed all her salaries and consult with her on sensitive issues relating to the firm.
