Career › UK Qualified Teachers Status (QTS) Application by OAOA(op): 1:41pm On Feb 01, 2023 |
The application for the Qualified Teachers Status (QTS) in England started some hours back. It's an opportunity Nigerians, especially Teachers have been waiting for.
Like their counterparts in the medical fields, it is an opportunity for Teachers to japa. For now the opportunity only open to two countries in Africa; Ghana and Nigeria.
Let's gather together to assist one another on this journey... |

Jemiimaa99: My sponsor was asked to make it 13-16 million.
A friend of mine was asked to make his 20 million.
Different opinions everywhere.
It’s better to be safe than sorry. Variation can be attributed to difference in course of study, tuition fees, school, location of school, cost of living, etc. |

Rollzmond20: IOM Don't know about IOM but while at Fatai, one can ask for outcome of the results except for TB scan which would be sent out. If you're medically inclined or you shuk eye for everything or you ask questions, you'd be able to know your results that day. |

I think it's USD but I'd advise you dont have upto that in cash but saved in your account to avoid being queried. You can ask your friend to hold on till when you get in, open an account then the money can be sent to your account for use. However, the money may take like 24/48 hours before it drops because it's a new account so the earlier you open the account, the better. engrlarex: The 10K in USD or AUD. I am planning to get some USD from a friend. |

Well captured! Thanks for the information engrlarex: 1. I applied through an agent and paid an agency fee of #250K as at then. consider dollar variation. 2. Your intended course of study should be in-line with your first degree and your professional duties over the years. 3. I am a co-director/founder of an engineering company and which is functional. I also have my own company in operation. 4. I used the other company as a sponsor being one of the director, I used that in the GTE process with a closing balance of about #32M. 5. I have a landed properties worth over #15M. I did the survey and the proposed architectural design of the one of the intended house to be built with the assumption it is currently on-going. 6. I am married with a kid. So it can be said that I have a very strong home ties. I am giving you all of these to know how demanding their Documentations can be, some agent may not tell you the truth about convincing them you have every reasons to be back after studies. 7. I applied as married with my kid and wife as part of the visa application but I am the only one going. 8. I did the SOP review with the agent because I was part of every process start to finish. 9. Upon Receipt of admission, I made my payment via form A of about $8300 initial deposit black market is about #4.3M then. 10. COE was issued upon purchase of health insurance. And the visa was processed. 11. Did medicals and biometric two weeks interval. And the visa was issued after 10days of the medical.
In all, you might not be lucky to use form A, Average initial deposit of school fees is always around #4-5M. Health Insurance and Visa fee slightly above #1M. Medicals and Biometric #85K. If IELTS is required #83-85K. Your statement of account will be sorted by you depending on your circumstances and other statutory documents that may be needed based on your application conditions and process.
Wishing you and others best of luck. |

I've checked the link. It's about #299/Aussie.
If I may ask, what am I expected to prepare as POF, and how much? I mean the composition of my POF, and how much is required for each composition? Plus, is it really 3 months Statement?
Pardon my ignorance pls Your admission letter would guide you here. First semester/year fee+1year upkeep fees (equivalent in local currency) plus addition just in case of fluctuations in exchange rates |

Congratulations on your admissionMay the Almighty ease your affairs till the final stage. On the monetary requirements, get the naira equivalent of the required amount in your proof of funds and pay the initial fee with health insurance. You can use xedotcom for conversion rate, however, from my knowledge gained here so far, people use Form A or assistance from people onshore or someone in the abroad to help pay their fees. The last two are the most preferred because they require less time time but one needs to shine his/her eyes. Also, one can make use of a reliable agent. Success is yours Prowess007: Good Day Everyone. God Bless you for all the information so far. Please, I just got a MSc Degree offer , and espected to meet up with a list of conditions.
I am currently very concerned about the Monetary requirements and the naira equivalents. Can someone enlighten me pls |
