Try to acquire some fundamental certificates like First Aid/CPR, National Crime Certificate (NCC), Working With Children (WWC) among others Mingle with people. Look for a community; social or religious. Youd be fortunate to have them come to your aid...all the best! For now, don't be selective of jobs except if you've got a cogent reason. val56: Hello guys.. I recently moved to Australia Townsville in Queensland for a 2 year Master program in MBA. And am to resume studies by May. Just settled for Accomodation and hoping to hear from gurus in the house. How best I can catch up with getting a side job just to keep up feeding and rent for the meantime.?? |

How does one make payment for such high fees. Pls how do the people that got admission and paid there fees pass this hurdle. I am a pharmacist, and I want to go for Masters there. Is there any chances for PR there for me. I need answers from the experience ones cos this is very urgent. Search more you could get some with lower fees though. Although it's subject to the course and school...All the best 👌🏾 👍🏾 |

Maranatha5: Good evening everyone, Please can someone help me because I'm honestly confused, I have gotten admission about to Lodge visa. My agent stated that the GTE statement I used in securing admission is not needed for visa application, that I need to do a statement of purpose. Please note that the GTE statement I used for admission was according to the template provided by the school.
Now he's saying I don't need that particular one for visa application, that I just need to do a statement of purpose. When I checked the requirements in immi website, it stated that I need to do a statement stating that i Intend to stay temporarily with the necessary evidences attached.
Whereas some other persons (e.g a vloger on YouTube) is saying that one need to submit the GTE statement, and another statement of purpose.
Please you guys should help me and clarify, I have come too far to make mistakes now. For those who got their grants recently, did you submit the GTE statement used for admission application in the template provided by the school and another statement of purpose? My agent is experienced but I don't want to rely solely on him.
Please help me guys and clarify.
Thanks a lot in advance Can you mention your school perhaps you could have someone who's done it too? This way, it makes the response tailored to your school's requirements. |

1) Do I have to pay application fee to apply to a school?
2) Do one have to apply for a school towards career progression or degree progression? 1. Subject to the school you're applying to 2. It's your call, what do you want? Please give it a thorough thought as your decision would help you to write your GTE very well |

What the agent said is true. Notwithstanding, if you can write a convincing GTE, you might be able to scale that hurdle henrymor: Hi guys,
I have a family and will like to migrate to Australia via a student visa. I contacted an agent and she told me that my wife will apply as married but go alone. Then I will go and meet her later maybe after 6 months.
However, I wish our daughter and I go together with my wife. Is this not possible with a student Visa?
The agent said trying to go together will make approving our Visa difficult. She said if she gives the impression of going alone and coming back to reunite with her family after studying, she has a higher chance of getting our Visa approved.
My target is next year February (so as to prepare financially and have enough time to get the necessary documents)
Please, I need advice. |

penitential: Good morning house,
Please I want to ask the following questions
1. Considering the 40hr/week work time, what is the pay range/Hr job one could get as a student? Can a student get a job paying 60Aud/Hr? It is achievable but one needs some certifications and experiences to get that amount per hour
2. If someone pays 50% tuition before leaving Nigeria, can someone pay the remaining 50% tuition while working for three months which makes a semester? Considering the 40hrs/week allowance. Or can work exceed the 40hrs/week? At the moment, the limited working hour is on hold till July, I think so. Also, it's achievable like number one
3. Lastly, is it automatic to get 3years of post graduate work permit after a 2years master program. I'd say yes but one is required to look for employment within that window |

080mamaayi: Pls my people, the gurus in the house...I have few questions bothering me.
1..my first degree is four year(Bsc.Ed), do Australia universities accept 4yrs degree for a masters program? A graduate of UNN 2:1 yes, they do
2...I have been following this thread for sometime now, I haven't seen anyone applying for Ms Teaching/Education...both secondary and early child education even though they are both in the SOL list...is it a bad career for Nigerian students over there? What is it like to get admission for the above courses and job opportunities during and after studies? job opportunities are available for teaching, infact it's one of the sort after courses after nursing
3...For GTE, someone who is an only child of a single parent( though married), can one use it as a point when writing GTE, stating that he or she needs to comeback immediately after studies to take care of the "parent" ? sure, it all depends on your use of words
4...my husband is a business man, registered with CAC but do not have employees....he wants me to be the main applicant with him as my sponsor and dependent, if he manages to fund his account for POF , will he be asked to provide further documents ? Which document can they ask from a sponsor running such business? certificate of biz reg, letter of introduction/relationship, marriage cert, statement of account, means of ID
5...Aside teaching, is there any other course or career path on the SOL list that I can go into with my first degree (Edu Biology) ? Note: I have TRCN certificate. you can search SOL and choose your preferred choice close to Biology/Education, your Statement of Purpose would take care of the rest. I mean you'dhave to explain in details, convincingly why you're changing course
Pls my people I honestly need answers to the above questions.. Thanks and God bless! Personal Advice: try applying for PR as a teacher too You can do both simultaneously if you're bouyant enough Try to have high scores in your English test (IELTS/PTE) All the best |
