ChuckMars: Thank you. Which of the tests is recommended for the visa application? IELTS Academic or IELTS General I think the test is dependent on the visa type; Academics for Study visa and General for others. |

Good that you've decided to make plans for greener pastures. Another thing you have in your favour is the backing of your parent (dad) for finance and people willing to accommodate for accommodation.
I'd advise you to note the location of your proposed accommodations and look at schools around there then check the one with cheaper fee and a course you'd easily pass since you ain't really key into the academics.
Best of luck |

ocpaschal: Pls guys I need clarity. During my admission application to an Australian university in NSW, I previously mentioned that I have a brother in Australia. If I decide to say that I don't have any brother or family sibling in Australia during my GTE & visa application process, will there be any serious challenge? I'd advise you say the truth in your application to avoid stories...all the best! |

Congratulations to him chookudi: Hi Everyone, My bro-in-law has just been granted his 489 visa sponsored by South Australia. Obviously he is aware he has to live and work in a regional area which luckily has been expanded to cover more cities. My question is, can he move between designated regional cities around Australia or it has to be in South Australia? |

floboyza: Hi Guys, Please I need advise from those that are well-informed on this matter. I have an accounting degree and would like to study a course with PR pathway. But my study agent suggests that I apply for masters in Accounting first so I can easily get my study visa and then change course in Australia.
My question is can I change course in Australia after applying for my master's in Accounting to Social Work for example in the same school? Any advise on this will be appreciated. Thank you What if one paid with an account from the US or UK? |

wentroublecomes: Good morning everyone. I pray for those that just apply for there visa that they we'll all be granted. Please I wanted to ask some questions and I'll be so happy if my questions will be answered. 1. I studied Civil Engineering with HND cert. Here in Nigeria. What course can I study in Australia that can at least guarantee me PR? 2. Or will I have to start afresh, I mean starting from BSc or can one go for masters? 3. Can I do all the school and Visa application myself without going through agents? 4. Who can provide me websites of Institutions I can apply for admission.
Please, I hope my questions aren't too much. I'm just a novice and trying to make a better life for myself and family 1 and 2: I'm not sure if you'd be considered directly for Masters although some would prefer you go for a bridging course like postgraduate diploma course before the Masters 3: Yes, you can but most schools prefer you go through their agents as they'd assist in proper documentation and the likes 4: Google to the rescue here |

[b]Is this offer still available or its like around Berwick?[b] Joan011: Good evening all, This is about rent and accommodation.
For some days now, I've been thinking about rent and the excessive amount most of us pay including myself all in the name of renting a room.
An idea then popped into my head, what if you can gather friends and rent an apartment on your own, you can get your own private bathroom In that way, you not only save yourself the wahala of some housemates or landlord. You also pay cheaper rent since you know how much you'd pay in a week, month and so in.
At the moment I pay $150 per week which I still consider expensive. Anyway the purpose of my writeup is to say if you need a cheap place to stay and wouldn't mind sharing an apartment with my humble self. Where I'll make sure you don't pay more than $150 in a week. Let me know
P. S You have to be in Victoria though, It's mainly for Deakin University students although anyone is welcomed.
Check how much you'd pay rent after dividing that number by 2 |

Morp: I wish to share my testimony to the glory of God and benefit of everyone expecting theirs.
Landed: 5th November Grant date: 13th October Medical: 12th September Biometric: 7th September Application date: 5th September
There was no additional document request as documentation was straight forward because I’m on research scholarship. I received my COE towards the end of August and my agent said that I can’t meet the November resumption date due to visa processing timeline and advised that I should defer my admission to next intake. I decided to disregard the agent’s advice because most of what the agent said including documents required to lodge visa application was not in tandem with the information on DHA website. I lodged my application myself and will advise anyone that have time constraint to consider completing the application themselves because it’s very long. I used the checklist on DHA website to gather supporting documents and didn't submit IELTS or bank statement. I flew Qatar airways at the end of the day but I made the mistake of using the so called online ticketing agents to book my flight ticket initially due to high cost of tickets to Australia at the time I booked. I ended up losing USD 2k to kiwi.com and had to buy another ticket from the airline directly after my lost. Please, always do your research and don’t depend on information from any agent. The DHA website have all the necessary for information. Buy your tickets from the airlines directly to avoid stories that touch. If you are carrying food items, ensure that it’s processed (ie blend and dry). I packed mine in ziplock bags and they were clearly labeled. To everyone hoping and praying, God will make it happen for you. Congratulations what course and school? |
