Manchester United are interested in signing Issa Diop and they are willing to pay in excess of £45m plus a player for the West Ham defender, according to Sky sources.

The Hammers have let it be known that Diop is not for sale and it is believed they would not even listen to offers of less than £60m.

Diop played 38 times last season after moving to the London Stadium from Toulouse last summer for £22m.

United want to sign a centre back this summer. They have been told by Napoli that Kalidou Koulibaly would cost about £100m while Leicester City value Harry Maguire at £80m.
grin

I honestly pity Ed. The moment United is mentioned, boom! Price would skyrocket by 300%. A Player bought for £22m is now worth £60m?!

Exposing our defence? 3-5-2 if played well is Iron gate

It wouldn't offer you much offensively though
Remember we will be playing with Wingbacks..... Attack-minded FBs. LVG succeeded with the Formation at the World Cup, but failed miserably with it at United.

That are my Words.

They are average at best (good), not a star-studded Squad as many of you are portraying it. It's left for you to keep getting yourself confused, by looking for what's not lost.

As average as our squad is,we still have the quality to rival the best teams on the Continent... we have the talent bro..we always have..

Rohr is the problem here..His tactic is the major undoing of this team.. I used to like him until I saw his lineup against Croatia... what made me even madder was the fact that he played enough friendly games that showed us the best formation that would work for the team against European oppositions and the best players for each role..and he went ahead to start with a 4-2-3-1 and Shehu..Iwobi on the flanks . I'm still mad about it bro..still very mad..

If he won't win us the AFCON or at least get to d final with some really good performance he should be sacked!!
grin

Rohr keeps telling us that the Squad is young. The Squad is till gelling..... Lol! Honestly we have a good Squad, talented Players are in the Squad but seems Rohr has no Balls to take big Risks.

Very true Bro what you have said. Forgiveness was right: they don't measure of the quality of our players of yesteryears
grin

You are missed Bro, same as Nerd. AFCON is here, let's enjoy it together on this Thread. We do not need to put more hope on the Team like some are doing. Mike-2 is actually doing balance Analysis. I respect his objectivity a lot.

Omonbala has spoken the bitter truth. The Squad is average, but we are happily believing they've reached the stardoms already. ChrisKels does open our Eyes that mostly our Players are better off as Carpenters, alas! He's being advised to change Nationality. Lol!

This was how we rated our U20 until we were disgraced honorably. Some of us argued that Aigbogun is a round Peg in the square hole, but we were told to unfollow the Team which we obliged satisfactory.

Bro, your inputs are needed, goldfish is another notable Moniker i am missing on this Thread.

Well-done Sir........ *In Falz Voice*

I do not wish him (Osimhen) failure, if he's called upon to lead the Line - but I hope you won't make sharp, swift 180° turn ........ if things go south for him.

I hope you gonna firmly stand by him, keep believing in him as you are doing now?! I hope you gonna see it as a moment of rough patch for him, and won't join to criticize and condemn as you are already doing to Onuachu.

I remember how elated you were, when Onuachu banged his debut "rocket" goal for the Eagles. I remember also your Reaction recently to his poor performance against Zimbabwe.

Dudes don't wanna move on Nacho's Exclusion from the List?! Seem more than half of the Thread Members are pained, but only few get Balls to show it honorably and angrily respectively.

How are we so sure Nacho can play well as 10 at the Tournament?! You must be excellent at first touch control to excel in the Position and able to operate in tight space, can Iheanacho do that flawlessly?!

Seems we are mixing it up. Iheanacho was a No. 8 at U17, it was Musa Yahaya pulling the String as No. 10 if my memory served me right..... Stand to be corrected.

Iheanacho was deadly as a No. 8 not as a No. 10. Thus he's not rightly a direct Replacement for Iwobi as a No. 10. If at all Rohr needs to sub off Iwobi in a Match, Icon4s has given the best Option, but we can also twist the Formation to 4 - 2 - 4 with a SS operating as a final third Controller.

Winning the first Ball in the Air, holding the Ball to enable tactical off ball Movements from the Wingers and the main Striker. Guess what?! I will play Onuachu in this Role, with Osimhen ahead of him.

Let's bury Iheanacho's Exclusion from the List. AFCON is few Days away!

Solace is a quality writer and the article in question was brilliant. Quite an interesting read with the right message. Either way, there was a clear thought out plan to mislead with it. The article had nothing to do with Manu Garba and Iheanacho's relationship.

That was wrong but did you in any way condemn such an action by the journalist?
The Heading draws Attention as a Clickbait, but the Message is well spelled out. I do not sense any Trait of hating from the Writer. He simply used the heading, the moment, to draw Attentions of all. He seized it to address the unfortunate Lives our Youngsters are living and as well counsel them properly.

Solace Chukwu is too high the ladder of Nigerian Sports journalism to pull something as evil as that to spread false message about Iheanacho.

You can see you have not said anything in anyway to condemn his action.
There is more to the Article than what you're holding on Bro. Generally, the Article addresses the major Mistakes most our Youngsters are making.

It talks about extravagant Life and Education. I remember when Safarigirl used to complain about Iheanacho Instagram Posts. She used to condemn the kinda Life Iheanacho is living. She's warning us that Iheanacho is losing focus, rather flirting around with Alex of BBNaija.

Did you do act/react to the Warnings? Did you condemn the Acts and advise the Lad to focus and stop running after Ladies?! Rather you are busy telling us how a Genius would roger him to a world class player.

Moreso they were discovered when they were Kids. They quitted Schools to fulfill their Dreams, but forgetting there is Life after Football. Manu advised them to never give up on Education. It's also in the Article but you choose to ignore it, but focusing on the Heading alone.

....... Didn't know there are many Forgiveness on this Thread until Iheanacho Omission from the List?!

Whenever Forgiveness wails..... Tah he's a Tribalist; he wants his Tribesmen in the Squad; we should respect Rohr, coz he's white and knows the best.

....... But to my Surprise, Joe is aligning with Forgiveness' Conspiracy Theories and Allegations?! Well..... I should not be amazed coz this is Nigeria!

So many Entities are gangling up against Iheanacho?! They don't want him to succeed as a Player?! NFF?! Media?! Even Nigerian Football Lovers?!

We need to stop being emotional. We should learn to respect certain Decisions favorable or unfavorable, instead of looking for Loopholes and get confused, lost in the Process.

Though Lukaku is banging Goals for his National Team consistently, but to be honest, his lack of first touch ball control is worrisome. Can he play in a tiki-taka or ghen ghen tactical setup?!

I like Lukaku as a Player, cos he does try his best and gives it all while on the Pitch, but that ain't enough in modern football. Lukaku would excel if Wingers are tricky enough to drag Defenders off their Lines and create space for him to run behind, aside from that, he's as toothless as a Duck!

I've been following the Team quite a while, they are actually U15. They played some friendly Matches with local Teams before leaving for the invitational Tourney.

I think they won the last friendly by 8 - 2 against an Academy. I guess NFF tagged them U16 because they are partaking in the U16 Tournament.
