Oh. My bad.

The fact that Mourinho refused to sign a player for that position does suggests to some extent, that he expects Shaw to buckle up and claim it.

Of course I may be wrong.
I believe JM loves Shaw, and he's simply pushing him to fulfill his Potentials. I've not lost all Faith in him. And kinda hoping he's gonna come good for the Team very soon.

Be like I just dey bored since yesterday. But I don't even know why Lukaku matter dey pain me set. Probably because I already know what to expect from him and as far as I'm concerned he is doing a lot for the team already. Looking at it, it seems Jose is playing to the strength of the team right now. Even at the beginning of the match yesterday, Lingard started ahead of Lukaku. He was the one pressing for the ball in the striker position when we had a Lukaku on the field. From where I'm standing, that says a lot
grin

If indeed you are bored, then you've really found the right person to help you break the boredom..... Ride on Bro!

Really don't know what Dudes are expecting from Lukaku. We all know the kind of Strikers he is, even before his first Game in the United Shirt!

He was celebrated at the beginning of the Season when he was banging Goals. No one gave a damn about his off Ball Movements, Ball Control and so on.

But because he couldn't bang Goals in few Matches, where JM chose to attack and defend with 11 Players, Dudes are beginning to write Theses on him for PhD and submitting it here to claim what they are not.

Lukaku is improving as a Player, he's 24, he still gets Room for improvement coz he hasn't peaked yet. Besides, this is his first Season at United, and he's not disappointing so far.

Many Tantrums were thrown at Pogba last Season, but Today - he's the most celebrated on the Thread. It won't be long before some Dudes would begin to retract the harsh Words They've said against him.

Some of us ain't getting it. JM is helping Lukaku to improving on his Skills and Techniques. Lukaku is known as a Jam-body type of Strikers with absolute poor Ball Control, rather a Beast in the Box.

But so far..... he has tremendously improved in Ball Controls, dribbling and buildup plays! He's gonna get back in the Box, but it seems JM is only helping to develop his all-round Skills as a modern Striker, molding him to become a world-class Striker.

With Time...... we gonna begin to appreciate him again!

There is still hope for him. He's definitely gonna get playing time sooner than anyone ever envisages on the Thread.

I think he may possibly start the tomorrow Match, or perhaps gets introduced in the early Minutes of the 2nd Half.

"He's [Lindelof] like the team. When the team plays well, he plays well. When the team's doesn't play well, he doesn't play so well.

"So the mistakes he had in matches were not mistakes against the level of the team. When he made mistakes it was when the team was playing bad. If the team is playing well, Victor is playing well."

"We didn't qualify yet and I need to keep a certain balance in the team. But when you speak about Luke Shaw, you are right.

“We're really happy. I think they were both very tough games away from home [Watford and Arsenal Games]. We now have confidence to play the last Champions League group game and after that, the derby.

“Sometimes, you just start a game with a really good save, with a good feeling, you feel that [unbeatable] but we started the game really well, we scored two important goals and it’s true that we lost a bit of a control of the game after, but it was a good performance.

“Probably the double save [that deny Lacazette's low half-volley and Alexis Sanchez's effort on the follow-up], when we were winning 2-1 [in the second half]. I think that was the most important save but, like I said, the full team defended very well and fought for the three points."

“We are going to find our best moment very soon. We are second and chasing to be top of the table.

"It was a fantastic result [at Arsenal] with some great performances. David [De Gea] was amazing, and we were clinical in the first half, with two chances in the first 15 minutes and two goals.

"Then of course Arsenal have a lot of quality and they were going to create chances, but for the two or three big ones they had, David was there so we’re very happy.

"Jesse [Lingard] is on fire now, Paul [Pogba] as well, it’s a pity he got a red card. Romelu [Lukaku] didn’t score but he helped us a lot. The centre-backs – Victor [Lindelof] is in fantastic form right now. So we are optimistic of course."

"I think that’s down to our tactical work and us being able to be strong [on the display with 10 men towards the end].

"They probably had about four strikers on the pitch so it was a case of digging in and making sure, even the attacking players, were doing their job and everyone to a man was brilliant.

"I think Watford were going into our game on Tuesday on a great run of form and Arsenal, I don’t think they’ve lost at home like we haven't, so I don’t think we could have asked for anything more. It’s been a great week."

"I think we were carrying on from Watford and the fact that, when we play, obviously in this system, we can play with two strikers.

"Quite often, they [Arsenal] are only used to playing against one. We put two up front and put them under more pressure and they are not used to that.

"I think that was one to enjoy, for fans watching the game and for us as players. It was end to end, but for us to get those two early goals, I think, meant Arsenal had to come at us and that’s what made it a very entertaining game."
