stylochime:Nice Lineup but swap Jones with Lindelof. I do not trust Lindeof playing centrally, in fact I wouldn't mind Blind in the back 3 instead of him. |
obainojazz: ![]() I wouldn't mind the Signing of Ozil to be Candid as well as Sanchez. United can get both of them for Free next Summer. |
obainojazz: ![]() who do you prefer between the two and why?! |
hoopLA: ![]() HoopLAlasticlala - can you give a Reason why you don't want him at United?! |
Rumor Mill! Mesut Ozil is set to turn down Arsenal's offer of a new contract, with the 28-year-old midfielder keen to join Manchester United. (Sunday Mirror) |
diggz:You jez nailed it and had doubting Thomases schooled for free of Charge! We can't expect United to play Barca on all Opponents. The most important Thing is 3 Points, how we get it shouldn't be queried rather appreciated. Moreover, It's too early to give up on JM. We were so happy winning by 4goals to Nil consecutively. We were almost expecting it to become a Tradition against all Oppositions. We were lust and lost of understanding a typical JM way of winning Titles. Southampton Game is simply an Eye Opener. JM is committed to winning the League this Season, and he's ready to go dirty to get his Mission accomplished. |
diggz:They seem confused with JM way of winning Titles. The best way to school them on JM Way is; you gonna get ROUGH and DIRTY to find DIAMONDS. Watch them celebrating beyond the United Board, Management and Players if we eventually win Titles, and they would come back to eat their Words humbly! |
diggz: ![]() It's crystal clear we are rooted in the Palace (Top4) competing for the Crown of the EPL! Thanks for the Compliment Bro! |

LoRdCaT: ![]() I like Leyqute, and do enjoy his Inputs on this Thread, but it seems the Dude was badly hurt with the Performance of the Team. LOL! |
LoRdCaT: ![]() I couldn't believe the Statement was made by him of all People. He was angry at the awful Display which is understandable - but JM opting to go defensive to keep the 3 Points in the Bag should be appreciated. We all clamored for Mkhitaryan to be played in the middle, JM listened to us and keeps playing Mkhitaryan there, yet we still want JM to make him scoring Goals and creating Chances. Fans can go to any Length to criticize when ain't happy with a Result or a Display, but we shouldn't go ballistic because we didn't lose the Match. I was imagining what Dudes would have been spitting - had the Team drawn or lost the Match. |
"When you look back in April and May, every point is precious. This could be the most vital three points we get all season. We had to defend for our lives; Southampton gave everything in the second half and just couldn’t get a goal thankfully. Not every game is enjoyable to watch but we've hung on to get three points." - Arthur Albiston |
"Wins are better when they’re four-nils. You don’t have to run so much or defend so much but when you get that 1-0 win you just wait for the final whistle. We were digging deep and when the referee blew the whistle you could see how much it meant to everyone. It’s a tough place to come, it is going to be tough for teams to come down here but we’re delighted to get the three points and go home now." - Ashley Young |
"lt felt like for the majority of the second half we couldn’t seem to get out [of our half]. Then when we did get the ball we gave it away too cheaply which you know caused them to come straight back at us. It was just back and forth, like a yo-yo, like a basketball match for all the second half but we showed character, resilience and fight. We dug in and got the three points." - Phil Jones |
"It’s a difficult place to come. Our team had chances to kill the game, but we didn’t. Then we put ourselves in a position where we had to defend to keep the result, which we did extremely well, with a good keeper, with good defenders, with the substitution of Smalling, so I am really happy." - Jose Mourinho |
![]() So Dudes are still lamenting till now?! Even though we ain't pleased with the Performance, we should appreciate the 3 Points in the Bag. Let's assumed he introduced Martial in the Game, we were threatening the Opponents, kept them at Bay, but eventually got countered and a Goal scored, what would have been our Reactions here?! Dudes would be saying - JM has lost his Mojo, he should have opted for Park-the-Bus Tactic in the final Stage of the Match and secured the 3 Points. I felt kinda dejected, reading a Comment made by one of the Gladiators of this Thread - claiming United is toeing the Path of Crystal Palace. I was like, what tempted this Nigga to spit out this Ish?! We ain't satisfy with the Team Performance, but we shouldn't forget the Days we were having Laugh Galore on the Thread courtesy of scintillating Performances from the Team. Time to move on Dudes - we should expect classic Performances from the Team onwards. Mind you, the last Match also was a classic Performance but defensively. |
I am not fazed with the Performance of the Team, it's all I expected after seeing the Lineup! I'm really amazed Dudes are gnashing Teeth for the horrible Performance of the Team Today! What do you expect from the Fellani - Matic Combo?! Young at LB, Rashford still starting ahead of Martial, Mkhitaryan still playing 10 while Mata keeps wasting on the Wing?! JM needs to replay the Video Match of our last Match against Burton coz he had a good Lineup for the Match. If we keep playing with Matic - Fellaini Combo, then we should be expecting more disastrous Displays. I wouldn't blame JM, but I wish he learns from this Match and start playing good Footie. |

“I played Ashley Young at right-back in the Champions League [against FC Basel], not Antonio Valencia “I played Darmian in the last match, so I have played three right-backs already, and left-back we have played Blind, Young, Darmian, Shaw and, in a few weeks, Marcos Rojo too hopefully. “So, it depends on what I see, what I see in training, what I see in the opponents and I try to make the right choice.” - Jose Mourinho |
“You saw the game [against Burton], you saw the same as I see. Are you asking me if he [Shaw] plays tomorrow? No, he’s not playing tomorrow. He has to work, he has to improve. “He hasn’t played for six months. If he doesn’t play for six months, I don’t expect him to arrive on Wednesday and be the Man of the Match and to be running up and down for 45 minutes. It’s just a process, he doesn’t play for a long, long time. “You have other players in the Premier League that are not starting matches in this moment and their managers say they’re not in the best condition. We’re speaking about some of the best players in the Premier League. Luke had surgery and a long time without playing football. I cannot expect him to be back and strong in his work.” - Jose Mourinho |
“It is difficult, but it means it's going to be easier later. If we play now, CSKA in Moscow and Benfica in Lisbon, it means, later, we are going to play them at Old Trafford. "If we have consecutive matches away at Liverpool and Huddersfield it means later we will play them at Old Trafford, so I'm never too worried about matches home and away because the number of matches is going to be the same.” - Jose Mourinho |
“Southampton is the kind of club that are very stable in the way they play and in the way they see football, the qualities of their players. “I think it's a good team to be a manager of. Honestly, I think it's a very good club to be manager of. And I see the match tomorrow as a very difficult match.” - Jose Mourinho |
"The club financially looks really strong and better than ever, according to the numbers. Where the football team is improving not just in results but in a certain style of play. "Where the connection between the players the fans, and the team looks stronger and stronger. Where the United fans around the world have more reasons to smile than in the recent past, so I think it's about globality.” - Jose Mourinho |
pharod: ![]() LOL! "I see a great improvement in the Person [Martial] In his mood, in his face, in his body language. If you want one word: happiness. I am very pleased with his attitude overall, which means it’s easier [for him] to play well. "He's a happy guy, he's working extremely well, If he starts matches, he tries to do well and if he goes on from the bench, even if it is for just 10 minutes, he tries to enjoy it and to give something extra in his time on the pitch." - Jose Mourinho |
SIRcumalot:"I have no idea when he [Pogba] will be back, no idea, but again, this is a great opportunity for other players to play and I trust them all. "So I'm not going to cry or be counting the days until Pogba comes back. When he comes back, welcome, but until then I trust my people." - Jose Mourinho |
Leyqute: ![]() I followed your Convo with them along with Dopejemi and Eph12. At least you Guys had a nice time on the Thread. |
Mystic1: ![]() A deranged Dotard is calling for my Attention with stupid Post up there. Claiming they got Facts to backup their Arguments. Please what Facts do they get?! Quoting unknown Blogs as Reference?! LOL! |
