Schweinsteiger backs in first Team training! Jones is also back!!!

elampiro:You need to check the Stats again pls?! He also played 6 Shots on Target - we were simply lost to Luck and Ibra's mediocrity!
|
eph12: ![]() But..... buh..... Eph12..... why?! LOL Why would I insult you?! Even though I insulted you the other time, he's simply out of frustration with the comments you made! Don't be annoyed pls..... My Apologies! ![]() |
elampiro:Juan Mata's game by numbers vs. Burnley: 100% pass accuracy 100% take-ons 100% tackles won 50 passes 7 chances created 6 shots ************************************ ![]() What else did you expect him to do in the Match, and prove himself as a classic, world class 10? Though I also want us switching to 4-4-2 Formation, but I will rather prefer a Diamond Midfield - with Herrera/Fellaini/Carrick at the Base, Mata/Mkhtaryan at the Crown, Pogba on the Left and Herrera/Mkhtaryan on the Right. Rooney and Ibra can play together upfront, or Martial and Rashford. Also Ibra and either Martial or Rashford can pair upfront.

AdisaOwala:“The way I think is to win the next game – Fenerbahce. Win and deserve to win. Swansea – deserve to win and win. To think long term is wrong. Hopefully we can get a few wins in a row.” - Ander Herrera ![]() But..... the Players seem to prefer winning convincingly! |
“It was unbelievable, I was speaking with Juan [Mata] and we both agreed we have never experienced something like that on the pitch. We created 20 or 22 chances, we controlled the game for 90 minutes and to not score is unbelievable. We had the luck against us and hopefully, one day, we can get a fair result like a 5-0 or 6-0 win. “I didn’t want to make both of the fouls, I’m not a violent player. First yellow card, I bent my knee and didn’t want to kick the opponent. The second, I slipped. “Of course, we want to fight for everything, we have lost four points that we should have won easily but this is football and the Premier League. I don’t know if a team has been unlucky as we have been in this game. “The dressing room was completely disappointed because of the way we played. We have to keep our heads up because we’ve done a lot of good things. “We have to keep going, we cannot cry or complain. We just have to keep playing the way we did today, against Liverpool, Stoke and Fenerbahce. I think we are in the right way but today is one of the toughest days of my career because we deserved to win 6-0 but it was difficult. “He’s (Mata) a top player – it’s so easy to play with him. He always gives me the ball in the right condition and he played fantastic. Everyone did very well. I want to speak about Luke Shaw as well because he did fantastic and we need him. “Marcus Rashford played very good and Marcos Rojo played fantastic. Only Paul Pogba can do what he did today [against Burnley] in the second half and the personality he showed on the pitch is unbelievable. “The way I think is to win the next game – Fenerbahce. Win and deserve to win. Swansea – deserve to win and win. To think long term is wrong. Hopefully we can get a few wins in a row.” - Ander Herrera |
GloryIsaac: ![]() Pls who's the god of Manchester?? He's only aspiring to be, he has not proven it yet - but no doubt Ibra is a world class Striker. His hold up play is second to none! He's simply unfortunate in front of Goals at the moment. Perhaps he should take a place on the Bench in our next Game. He needs to rediscover his goal scoring form, and I trust him to prove the Doubters wrong sooner! |
eph12: ![]() Really don't understand you at times?! What else do you want Mata to do in the Hole?! Is he not creating chances?! If eventually JM tries out Mkhitaryan in the Position and he flops miserably, I wonder what else you would say! SMH..... this ain't the best way to support a Club. Have you heard of the Phrase - for better for worse?! I think you should learn it from the Arsenal Fans. We have a world Class Manager, we are playing well and the Team is improving..... I believe we wouldn't be saying all these if the chances were converted. Fans like you would have been sing-praising Mata as the best 10 in the World, Pogba - the best B2B and Herrera - the best holding Midfielder. People like you were the one wanting GEJ out, but now wailing - this is not the CHANGE we asked or prayed for. I'm getting pissed by your comments and posts to be candid..... if you are kinda exhausted of patience with the Manager and the Players - you can move on Dude! |
Oasis007: Is there any objection to what he said?! Didn't we really play attacking and interesting Football? We shouldn't succumb to Emotion, and letting it to becloud our good sense of Judgment. I think anyone that ain't still sure the Lads played their Hearts out Yesterday - should click on the Link below and watch the Highlight. http://www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Features/2016/Oct/video-highlights-of-manchester-united-0-burnley-0.aspx |
"I think we helped him [Heaton] because we missed some chances - he gained confidence from that and got into the game. He’s a good goalkeeper but in spite of that, we should have scored a goal. "I think the team performance was positive and we had a lot of energy, we created chances and I think we also did well in defence, we didn't give much away. We were on top of them. We didn't give them any space. "We played attacking football and I think that's what the people want to see. The only thing is we had to finish. It was a bit frustrating [not to score]. "Even when we had 10 men, Burnley were so much back into their own box and we created a few chances. It sounds like I am repeating myself but I think that was the story of the game. "It is hard to believe we didn’t score one goal. I hope it's just one of those days because we have some great strikers and some great midfielders who can score goals well. I'm not worried about that. I will try to see it as one of those days." - Daley Blind |
"It is difficult because, even when your defenders play well, at this level of the market, with opposition players as good as these at United, they will probe you and find different ways to hurt you. “Personally I thought they were first class, Man United, and they will be okayy. I think there is a top-class group of players there. They opened us up, they looked at us, they crossed it, they probed, they tried to play clever in the box and they are a top side, in my opinion. "I personally think, as a manager, that I should give credit to them because they just never stopped trying to win the game.” - Sean Dyche |
![]() The Haters are claiming Burnley is a small Team, yet they could only win them with a controversial Goal in the dying minute of additional Time.

tbaba1234:All is all..... I guess he deserves the Invitation?! |
No one was expecting Musa Muhammad and Kingsley Madu to make the List. I even read some comments and posts - saying Gernot Rohr has lost Confidence in the Duo - but eventually they make the List! If Mikel, with no play-time at Chelsea, could be guaranteed a spot in the Team, then I see no reason Musa Muhammad should miss out. Some would argue about the experience Mikel gets over Musa, but to me - I so much believe in Talent than experience. Musa Muhammad is simply the best for the RB position now, perhaps Tyrone can outshine him at the Training Camp and eventually plays the Position against the Algerians. But at the moment, Musa Muhammad is the best choice IMO! |
GloryIsaac:Are you still pained till now?! LOL! Arsenal, with Eleven Players on the Pitch throughout the Match Duration, could only score this same Club with a Hand of Devil! Chill Dude! LOL! I think you should read the assessment and submission of Gary Neville on the Team's Performance Today! He has learned what it takes to Manage a Team, and he's now fairly analyzing United Players and their individual - collective performances respectively! |
It's obvious many of us are pained, but that do not mean we should ignore the positive parts of the Match. When you check the Stats - there are so many positive things to grab from it! The Team is improving, we just need to be patient, very soon we would be the one holding Parties and throwing Banters on the other Threads!

"I think you have to give Burnley some credit for the blocks and for the fact they put their bodies on the line. "Plus, Tom Heaton made some fantastic saves, but I don't think I've seen United have as many chances as they had here for a long time. They should have won that game. "It could have been six, seven or eight and Burnley wouldn't have had any complaints. They were brilliant chances. The Zlatan Ibrahimovic chance at the end just summed it up. "United created so many chances and should have taken them, it's not happening for them at the moment or Ibrahimovic, who is a good finisher. "He's scored goals all over the world - he'll not believe, he's not scored a goal in that match. "There wasn't any negative reflections on any of the United players as I think they played well today. I don't think they could have done any more apart from putting the ball in the back of the net. "You can sometimes have days like that. I think when you're a player in the dressing room and you've had nearly 40 shots on goal and created some unbelievable moments, you can only think 'how have we not won that game? "It's a little bit of bad luck they're having at the moment - it's certainly a blow. That was a game that they absolutely dominated." - Gary Neville |
PLAYERS SHOWED WILL AND DESIRE “I think we were the better team on the pitch. We controlled the match, even with 10 men, I think you couldn’t feel there was one player less [when Ander Herrera was sent off] because of the mentality, the attitude, the concentration, the belief and the fight of the players. People could see that they gave everything until the last second and that is a very difficult thing to build. In this moment, we have that in this team. We need to congratulate the players for their fight and for their belief, for their will and desire to win. They did it until the last second. We are not happy. We created a lot of chances, we couldn’t score. It is important to score and we didn’t, but we created. If we don’t create then we should be more worried. We did very well. We tried and we are not happy. I repeat, the players were fantastic, they did a great job and they deserve to be congratulated.” THE RESULTS WILL COME “You always believe. When the best player on the pitch is their goalkeeper, you always believe that a minimum of one goal will happen but it didn’t happen. We need to keep going, to keep fighting and the players need to keep believing because this is the way, with the right mentality and the right approach to every match. The results will come and we will have better days.” WE BELIEVED THE GOAL WOULD COME “It was hard. You are fighting since the first second to get the result. We showed that. We controlled the game, we were dominant. With 10 men we kept doing the same, fighting for the same objective and we can’t ask more from the players because they were fantastic.” UNITED WILL HAVE BETTER DAYS “Football is a little bit like this. There are moments when you create so many chances and the ball doesn’t go in. You can’t score a goal. There are moments when you create one or two chances and you score. But I think it is important to say that when we play well, when we believe and when we create so many chances then good things will happen. The goals will start coming and this is what we need to believe. The boys deserve more than what happened today. We will have better days for sure and happy days but, again, I want to congratulate all of them because they were fantastic.” - RUI FARIA (ASSISTANT MANAGER) |
Pogba played well Today. He played out his Heart..... created begging Chances for Ibra! If anyone blames Pogba Today, that mean, the Person didn't see the Match! |
elrony: ![]() Notwithstanding..... he's better as a supporting Striker! JM shouldn't stick to 4-2-3-1, it's not working with Ibra spearheading the Attack! |
Ibra is better utilized as a supporting Striker, hence JM should change to 4 - 4 - 2 Formation - diamond Midfield. |
![]() Hard Luck!!!
|
"Antonio is having surgery today. He has a fracture in his arm. With Michael Carrick, the decision was to play with only two midfield players and also thinking about the next match against Fenerbahce [on Thursday]. "The problem for us is having injuries all in the same area with [Eric] Bailly, [Chris] Smalling and Valencia. They were the three players that start almost every match in the Premier League and now we have lost all three in the same period. "But that's football and it's an opportunity for others to play. We trust Darmian and we trust Marcos Rojo to have a positive influence." - Jose Mourinho |
Chelseafan1: ![]() Relax! We will win this Match! |
![]() Nice one..... Ibra!!! |
![]() Missing chances upon chances!!! |
Ibra is a Disaster! He's missing too much chances! Thank God he's only signed for a Year! |
![]() It's better to ignore some Monikers, rather than giving them Attentions by quoting them. Ain't we playing well in this Match?! If Ibra had converted the Chances, we would have been by now! We were just unlucky in the first Half, and I believe we gonna win this Match! |
We played well in the first Half. Created scoring chances, controlled the game from the first second to the last, denied a clear penalty Call. Kudos to all the Players..... I'm hoping we gonna bang Goals in the 2nd Half!

what would we say
