........their Messiah was sold to us as an Ex-Governor who didn't take loans, rather saved money. Loans was bad prior to 2023 General Election and every member of their movement spread same message.

Post 2023 Election, Alex Otti is collecting loans left and right, suddenly Loan ain't bad again. When President Buhari collected loan from Islamic Development Bank, he wanted to islamize Nigeria. Now that Alex Otti gets approval for $125m from same bank, amazingly new mantra is; Money know no religion.

From four legs, two legs bad to four legs good, two legs better. LOL!

I don see am and the message is clear

I take solace in the fact that the Peter Obi who “Akin” claims to follow, will never advocate for Genocide, no matter the provocation. Although Akin claims to be Obidient, Agbado is written into his DNA

There is a reason why his Yoruba name Akin is in quotes and Agbado is in his DNA. Another "I am Yoruba but..." shown his place, finally leaving the space for them with head bowed

grin

.....let me add some sauce. Twitter Obidients went for Pooja's jugular, coz he emotionally called on Military to level down the village where 16 Army were murdered.

Pooja is always attacked by their camp as a Supporter of PBAT, even though he never declares who he voted at last presidential Election.

They are tagging FIFA, CAF and so on to ban Pooja from covering football events as a photojournalist like they are de-marketing Erisco products - aggressively.

Akintollgate waded in, though condemned already deleted post made by Pooja, but called on them to stop attacking his means of livelihood. Boom, they started cooking him.

Nefertiti maligned him with an Epistle, even lied that Akin begged for her number privately. Akin responded with a screenshot of their private chat, where the case is vice versa - boom! He is getting cooked more for sharing the conversation on twitter.

Note: it ain't started now, it has been so long. He has no right to think differently. If dem say Tinubu is mad, Akin also must believe so. If he dares to believe otherwise he is gonna be cooked. LOL!

I have a friend who hates Tinubu like mad but says he will forgive Tinubu if he releases NK because the Kanu boys have held his area to ransom and he cannot even travel back to his village despite the huge investment there

If Eastern leaders come to the table mediate, talk to Kanu and talk o Govt, they can get him a conditional release

Tinubu na person wey like peace and no dey do stronghead unlike the military boys OBJ and Buhari. The less area of conflict, the better for him

What do you mean by me trolling?

Akpabio wasn't out of line. The King and eyewitnesses stated the attackers seemed like mercenaries. Akpabio reiterated same and went to say he's assuming the mercenaries are from outside the Niger Delta.

Newspaper used "foreigners" in headlines but quoted Akpabio who didn't mention it. You saw the sensationalism but went with the exaggerated headline regardless.

The bitter and hateful opposition a lot of us practice isn't opposition. It's why some canvassed for a novice GRV to replace a relatively experienced Sanwo Olu because "we good, them bad".

There are a lot of tech-savvy guys here, including yourself, but beside two or three of us, I'd never seen any comment anything good even with the quiet turnaround and upgrade Bosun Tijani is doing in his ministry.

The day he'd ever be fingered for wrongdoing, those on " our side" would flood this thread with links and discussions.

Bitter and see-no-good opposition isn't opposition.

You know why governments in power never really take the opposition seriously most times? It's because the opposition does bitter opposition.

If you ask followers of Atiku and Peter Obi if anything good came off Buhari's government, most would say "no". It's barely ever been discussed even on this thread. We just shit on the government at the center for every reason, justified or not.

I can point out good in the Buhari administration. I criticize Tinubu, but I can point out certain positives in his administration, the inflation regardless.

If you ask other persons who identify with the opposition what good has been achieved so far, almost all can't point to one. NOT EVEN ONE. That's hátred.

We criticise blindly because we are most stuck on identity politics - " Them bad, we good". Sometimes it's pointless justifying your actions to someone or people who would never see anything good in you.

I criticise Akpabio. I was the first to shit on him. I'm the one who insistently opened up on some of the below-board activities he was up to as Governor even some person in and from Akwa Ibom still do not know.

I didn't celebrate his emergence as Senate President because I knew he has an antecedence of poor money management, and being chummy with the President meant a Yes-man Senate. I still criticise him but won't criticize blindly.

Same for Tinubu or Buhari or the state governor whom I didn't vote for.

Akpabio wasn't wrong in the instance in question, but since he's of the APC and we are on the other side, we must shit on him. He's the Devil like all of his associates in the APC.

What we have is a bitter opposition. Constructive criticism is the best way of being a critic. A good critic praises where necessary.

Press Statement:

Voice, Data Services Affected by Undersea Cable Cuts Restored

Following the disruption on March 14, 2024, which affected data and voice services due to cuts in undersea fibre optics along the coasts of Cote d'Ivoire and Senegal, we are pleased to announce that services have now been restored to approximately 90% of their peak utilization capacities.

All operators who were impacted by the cuts have taken recovery capacity from submarine cables, which were not impacted by the cuts, and have thus recovered approximately 90% of their peak utilisation capacities.

Mobile Network Operators have assured the Commission that data and voice services would operate optimally pending full repairs of the undersea cables as they have managed to activate alternative connectivities to bring back the situation to normalcy.

We extend our appreciation to telecom consumers for their patience and understanding during the downtime caused by the undersea fibre cuts.

RESORT TO PROPAGANDA BY OKUAMA COMMUNITY IN THE FACE OF GRUESOME MURDER OF TROOPS ON PEACE MISSION IS CALLOUS AND TOTALLY CONDEMNABLE

The unfortunate killing of troops of 181 Amphibious Battalion of the Nigerian Army (NA), while on a peaceful and mediatory mission, after a reported case of communal clash between Okuama and Okoloba Communities in Ughelli South and Bomadi LGAs of Delta State respectively is not only despicable but should be unreservedly condemned by all.

These were troops committed to peace and security of lives and property of citizens and non-citizens alike in the Niger Delta Region, murdered in cold blood by an armed youth gang of Okuama Community, in the most gruesome, heartless and cruel manner and went ahead to sacrilegiously debase their remains by ripping out their hearts by the very people they were there to protect.

Regrettably, the community complicit in this dastardly act has resorted to media propaganda and shenanigans, rather than engage in a positive effort to fish out the perpetrators of this heinous crime. This again is a clear indication that the murder of the troops was a communally orchestrated attack against legitimate forces.

The falsehood being peddled by these criminals and their cohorts to whip up sentiments and sway the public to coverup, endorse or support the outrageous criminal acts of their armed youth gang should be disregarded in its entirety, it is only a ridiculous attempt at justifying their crime, rather than turn in themselves to security agencies. There is no amount of propaganda that would arm-twist the narrative, they are complicit and must be ready to face the wrath of the law.

While law-abiding citizens are assured that there will be no reprisal on the part of the troops, we enjoin all to go about their normal activities, even as ongoing efforts are scaled up to positively identify and isolate the criminals to account for their atrocious deeds.

The Chief of Army of Staff, Lt Gen Toareed Lagbaja, while commiserating with the families of the officers and soldiers who lost their lives, has directed that no stone should be left unturned until the perpetrators of this gruesome acts are apprehended to face the full wrath of the law. Troops are determined to get to these criminals, there is certainly no hiding place for them.
