Somebody dropped this during the Webinar TO FEMI SHOBANJO & OSCAR ONYEMA CEO NSE. AIICO officially shifted the corporate action date from 30/9/2020 to 30/11/2020 and the shares was marked down on 1/12/2020. But at the AGM they now shift to 31/12/2020 after it was marked down previously. Will NSE as a regulator allows this fraudulent act by AIICO? |

IMHO Is Fidson doing vaccines? Hope you remember that Fidson will be Manufactoering for GSK very soon. Meaning GSK will be transferring lots of cost to Fidson. |

Mcy56: You're right with the Uncle Jim. Think we've said it here sommetimes too.......that if Jim or Tony were to be the CEO, Japaul wont be trading less than N5 at least. Jegede is a 'gentleman' playing by the rules........
As for Uniondac, that one is an old story nah. The info was out since. It was SEC that delayed it till now. 35kobo per one, ready buyer. The smart ones loaded this stock at 25/26kobo before now. The purchase price was small though. |
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 11:09am On Dec 15, 2020 |
Mcy56: Thank you. However, the last part will happen after the addition of 7:17 bonus and not before.
For someone with 7000units for instance, it will be:
7000/7 = 1000 X 17 + 7000 = 24,000units
24,000units/4 = 6000units X N2 = N12,000
Your initial 7000units purchase, if you buy at 2.30 for example is N16,100 + fees.
After reconstruction price might not be less than N4 or thereabout..........at least, the share price is not expected to fall below N2 by then.........let's keep watching how they'll go about sha. I agree with you, but the Market can price it below N2( I hope not it doesn't happen). It is better and safer to load it below N1.

Mcy56: Obagadaffi come oooo....or who is with me on Mansard? Did you see price after bonus markdown? 64kobo? When is the reconstruction taking place and when are they adding the bonus? ......but to get Mansard at this price will pay off in my opinion sha..... If you have Mansard don't sell at loss o. At 70kobo is okay to me anyway. That, in accordance with Sect ion 101 of CAMA and Article 44 of the Articles; the nominal value of the issued ordinary shares of the Company be and is hereby altered from 50 kobo each to N2.00K each, by the consolidation of every four (4) shares held by each shareholder into one (1) share.
That the consolidation shall be deemed to take effect on 31st December 2020.
Meaning everything you have now will be divided by four (4) on 31st December 2020 and the price will be N2.00K

Just saying anyway, what do I know.. If uncle Jim is Japaul's chairman it will be trading around N10, with regular dividends. Anyway UNION DIAGNOSTIC is dropping something big. |

Mcy56: There wasn't any bonus declared then. The bonus declared was the one scheduled to be paid in Sept but which has been shifted to Dec now.......if I get it right.
What is confusing now is that: Sept bonus payment was marked down in Sept.
I think the new bonus is going to be for those who picked up the right issue only and not everyone...........just my opinion...... Realy, I thought AIICO declared three Bouuse this year. Both Sep and Nov qualifications for the bonus is now Dec 28( to allow rights issue holders benefit), it is for everyone.

Does it mean when market is trading flat, downside could be greater than upside? Just wondering. It is best to hold Cash and High yield Dividend-paying stock on a sideways Market. |

Leggitsam: Buhari is targeting capital gain tax. CGT. This is different from Witholding tax on your dividends. The first is profiling of investors.(done with KYC update of investors) The 2nd phase is knowing how much you are gaining by investing or trading on NSE? The third is grouping Nigerians into tax brackets. Under dz phase, the poor earners will be excluded. The money from the rich will be transferred to fund the poor. The praise singers of Buhari will be the utmost beneficiaries of the Scheme, coz the money will be looted before implementation. The government might lunch a bound to fail social security service. The fourth agenda is implementation of this brutal anti-investors policy. Buhari has sold Nigeria. Its better to chop and clean mouth on NSE. When you see a profit on your Portfolio, take it without looking back. |

nna777: There is a way to work around this funny information. As long as you don't buy 500k unit at a go or multiple times same day, you won't be blacklisted.
For eg If I want to buy 1M units, I can choose to buy within (100k to 400k) within 10 to 3days as the case may be.
If they find out our plan, we would change again accordingly . Na Dem go tire. But they should not be doing this, it will discourage investors. |
