SYMPTOMS AND TREATMENT OF TUBERCULOSIS.

Tuberculosis can affect anyone and anywhere. It is
estimated that approximately 1/3 of the world's
population has been infected by mycobacterium
tuberculosis. Currently, tuberculosis is the third largest
cause of death after cardiovascular disease and
respiratory disease. Tuberculosis is a disease of the
biggest causes of death in the group of infectious
diseases. Until now, tuberculosis remains a global health
problem and foremost.

How Tuberculosis is contracted

Tuberculosis is an infectious disease cause by
mycobacterium tuberculosis germ. Tuberculosis (TB) is
transmitted through the air (through the spark sputum
tuberculosis patients). When people with TB cough,
sneeze, talk or spit, they sprinkle the tuberculosis
bacteria into the air. A person can be exposed by
inhaling the bacteria,a small number of tuberculosis
germs can infect someone. In children the source of
infection is generally derived from adult patients with TB.Patients with tuberculosis with status of positive acid-fastbacilli can infect at least 10 to 15 people every year.
These bacteria when frequently entered and
accumulated in the lungs, will develop well into a lot and
can be spread through blood vessels or lymph nodes.
Therefore, infection of TB can infect virtually all body
organs like the lungs, brain, kidney, gastrointestinal
tract, bone, lymph nodes, and others. The Organs often
infected with tuberculosis bacteria is the lungs.
Someone who is infected with TB germs do not
necessarily become ill. Tuberculosis germs can become
inactive (dormant) for many years to form a cell wall in
the form of a thick layer of wax. When a person's
immune system declines, likely contracted the illness
tuberculosis becomes greater.

Tuberculosis symptoms

The main symptoms of patients with tuberculosis are
coughing up phlegm for 2 to 3 weeks or more. Cough
followed by additional symptoms of phlegm mixed with
blood, coughing up blood, shortness of breath, body
weakness, decreased appetite, weight loss, malaise,
night sweats without physical activity, fever more than 1
month. These symptoms can also be found in lung
diseases other than tuberculosis, such as bronchitis,
asthma, lung cancer and others.

How to Tuberculosis Test

In children, tuberculin test is most useful examination to
show whether the child is infected with mycobacterium
tuberculosis. But it is often done with Monteux test.
Monteux test injection site is generally on the upper half
left forearm. It is injected into the skin and in wait for 48
~ 72 hours in measuring the diameter of the swelling
that occurs.

Treatment of tuberculosis

Treatment of tuberculosis lasts long(6-9 months) even
more than that. Patients with tuberculosis can be cured
by taking drugs completely and regularly and to improve
the immune system with good nutrition and regular
exercise.

Health / Re: I Need Weight Loss Drugs by obeyyourhealth(m): 3:24am On Aug 27, 2013
WAYS TO SHED OFF 10 POUNDS IN A
WEEK.

Weight is an issue that almost everyone
struggles with. Save for the genetically gifted
members of the population that can eat what
they want and not exercise and yet still stay
in shape, everyone else has to practice
proper care to maintain a relatively desired
shape of their body. The vain nature of
people has probably been the main cause for
why so many people are so caught up in what
the scale says. In a society that greatly
values the attractive qualities of people,
being out of shape can make one an object of
ridicule and disinterest.
As unpleasant a reality as it is that superficial
qualities are improperly valued, such is the
case. It is almost an inevitable aspect of
society. The value people put on their weight
of course goes beyond just the superficial
fare. It is also a measure of great health to
be in the proper range of weight for one's
body type. Being in shape not only makes
one more attractive but it also enables them
to be more active and to partake in many
more endeavors. That is the gift of self-
discipline but not many have the patience for
it.
A week is a short time to accomplish
anything of real significance. Seven days are
after all not long at all, especially in this new
fast paced world. How is one then expected
to accomplish something significant such as
to lose ten pounds in such a brief period of
time. The key then lies in the two most
effective ways of losing weight no matter how
long a period of time allotted.
Those are of course to exercise and to
maintain a proper diet. Unless one plans
on spending an entire week in the gym, it
seems to be too short of a time period for
one to exercise and still expect a severe dent
in their weight figure. Exercise can still help
though. It is always wise to spend an amount
of time staying active and moving those
muscles. At the very least exercising can
keep one busy and take their minds off food
which is another key element if one is to lose
10 pounds in a week.
The diet is a key element if one wishes to
drop those ten pounds quickly. The first step
is with breakfast and the food for this time of
day includes 2 eggs without salt. Excluding
the salt prevents water retention. Lunch will
entail the consumption of leaner proteins
such as turkey. Turkey served with some
vegetables can be a filling option for those
looking to drop pounds.
This can also work as a dinner option. The
essence of the diet is to limit carbohydrates
and consuming lean proteins so that one can
feel full without eating as much. It is also
recommended to avoid sweet foods during
this time and to also drink lots of water.
Losing 10 pounds in a week may seem like a
very daunting proposition, but it is
achievable. The key lies in exercise, a low
carbohydrate diet and the right amount of
discipline to achieve this goal.

Health / Re: How To Cure Infertility Naturally by obeyyourhealth(m): 3:06am On Aug 27, 2013
CAUSES OF INFERTILITY IN BOTH MEN AND WOMEN.

When you're hoping for a positive result on a home
pregnancy test, it can be a difficult moment to receive a
negative result. With television shows that highlight the
lives of teens who became pregnant so easily without
even trying, and magazine covers highlighting the
newest pregnancy for a mother who already has a dozen
or more children, you might think getting pregnant is
much easier than it actually is. While your negative
pregnancy test might be nothing more than a sign you
didn't plan your intercourse accordingly this month, it
may be an indication that either you or your partner may
be suffering from different causes of infertility.
Here are some causes of infertility in both men and
women:
Male Infertility
Many people assume that infertility is a female
problem. They might immediately wonder if the woman
is the one to blame when a couple is not having any luck
becoming pregnant. Traditionally, doctors believe that
younger couples who have been trying for a year or
more to get pregnant without any luck are infertile. For
couples older than 35, doctors begin to strongly consider
infertility after six months of trying to conceive with no
luck. Still, most people believe that it's the woman's
Fault.
This is simply not true. In fact, approximately half of
infertility problems in the U.S. are caused by the male
partner in the relationship. Male infertility is caused by
a number of factors. Essentially, men must be able to
produce healthy sperm, enough sperm, and correctly
shaped sperm to impregnate a woman. If he cannot do
one or more of those things, he likely suffers from
infertility. Health issues are the leading causes of
infertility in men. Men who suffer from infection,
varicocele, take certain medications, or have a hormone
imbalance may suffer from infertility as these are all
medical causes of the problem. Additionally,
environmental factors can affect male fertility. Exposure
to heavy metals, X-rays, radiation, chemicals, and the
overexposure to heat can cause male infertility.
Men's lifestyle choices can also cause infertility. Drug
and alcohol use, smoking, weight, stress, and even too
much bicycling can cause males to suffer from fertility
issues. Men who do suffer from infertility might not
recognize any signs or symptoms right away. Aside from
his partner's inability to become pregnant, other signs of
male infertility include ejaculation issues, pain or
swelling in the testicles, low sperm count, and a sudden
inability to grow hair on the face or body are all signs or
causes of infertility in men. However, a sign such as low
sperm count is not one that a man will notice without
medical assistance, which is one of the main reasons
why men often do not realize that they might be the
reason behind a woman's inability to get pregnant.
Female Infertility
Since the invention of IVF and other fertility treatments,
women who suffer from infertility issues have more
options than ever before when it comes to starting a
family. Infertility on the part of a woman no longer has to
mean that she cannot have a child of her own, even if
she cannot carry that child. In order for you to become
pregnant, you need to ovulate, have sex, and receive
sperm to fertilize your eggs. Ovulation occurs when your
body releases an egg into your fallopian tubes. When it is
fertilized, it moves into your uterus and you become
pregnant.
The causes of infertility can vary. Most commonly,
women who are infertile suffer from ovulation disorders,
damaged fallopian tubes, cervical blockage, and a
number of other health issues that can lead to infertility.
Women who are not fertile often do not realize they
cannot conceive a child until they fail to become
pregnant after trying repeatedly. Furthermore, some
women who suffer from infertility have no medical
explanation for their inability to conceive and will never
know why they could not have a baby.
Much like male fertility issues, it's not until a woman
repeatedly fails to become pregnant that she begins to
consider she might have issues with infertility. Since it is
not something you can see or that you even feel, it might
take a while to find out that infertility is something you
have to live with. While some women may know they are
infertile after struggles with cancer, a specific surgery,
or another condition, most simply do not know until they
see their doctor regarding the inability to conceive.
The only other sign that a woman might suffer from
infertility is her menstrual cycle. The typical menstrual
cycle lasts 28 days from the first day of your period until
the first day of your next period. However, it is not
uncommon for many women to have a shorter or longer
cycle. This does not indicate female infertility, but
women whose cycles are shorter than three weeks or
longer than five weeks could suffer from infertility. This is
a sign that you should consult with your doctor for
further testing.
Treating infertility issues in both men and women is
possible with the help of a medical professional. While
not all infertility issues are curable or even treatable,
many couples who face infertility are able to go on and
conceive a child of their own after one of the many forms
of fertility treatment available today. For those who
cannot conceive even after fertility treatments, other
options are available.

Health / Re: He Wants To Recorver From The Side Effect Of Over-mastubation by obeyyourhealth(m): 2:55am On Aug 27, 2013
NEGATIVE EFFECTS OF MASTURBATION.

It is a hotly debated question among many today, "Can
over masturbation be harmful to me in any way, and at
what level does masturbation become over
masturbation?" This question has been asked by many
thousands of people before now and the results seem to
be fairly widely held as being true for the majority of
people.

Even though we are taught various different aspects of
masturbating throughout our lives, whether it be from
our parents, our schoolyard friends or even our teachers
and other adults in authority, generally the information
that is received is misinformation, or in a lot of the
cases, is incomplete information. It is now a scientifically
proven point that masturbation in general, meaning, not
excessive or deviated from basic masturbation practice,
that there are no harmful physical effects to the body.

This of course, will depend upon the particular case of
masturbation. Although masturbation performed in
moderation will have no harmful physical effects on our
bodies, over masturbation or prolonged masturbation
using bad technique, can have effects upon us. For this
reason it is perhaps important here to loosely define
masturbation and over masturbation. The difference
between the two levels of masturbation can vary greatly
from person to person, and maybe the most prominent
sign of over masturbation is, pain or other ill effects in
the genital or even muscular regions of the body. Friction
sores are a dead giveaway that over masturbation is
occurring.

In loose terms, over masturbation occurs when, there is
not enough time between masturbation periods for your
genital area to repair any wear and tear that might be
taking place. As masturbation involves friction and
pressure, there is always a period of rest and
recuperation required after any masturbatory or sexual
action. Over masturbation occurs, simply when this
period of rejuvenation is cut short and not being able to
take its course properly.

There are many common myths about what physical
effects can occur after masturbation, a lot of which are
commonly passed around at school amongst students
who really don't know any better. Some of these include
the statements that "Masturbation causes blindness, hair
to grow on one's palms, impotence to occur in later life,
leads to mental illness, can reduce your sexual appetite
in later life, and even, that masturbation can have
negative effects on semen production and quality".

All of these common myths are just that, myths, and
have been proven by science to be untrue, unless
specific rare circumstances occur, but which are not
directly connected to masturbating, but are the effects of some other disease or illness. In fact, such famous
research scientists as those who work for Masters and
Johnson, have been hard at work trying to answer this
very question about the effects of masturbation. So far
their findings indicate as stated above, that masturbation in moderation has no immediate medical effects on thebody and can in fact in some cases have beneficial effects on the body.

Despite the evidence found by Masters and Johnson,
however, there is one area that is not touched upon and
that should be seriously considered when learning about
masturbation, and especially when teaching or giving
advice on the issue. This effect is more of a long term
effect, brought about by the learning of bad or incorrect
techniques, that then develop into real problems in later
life. Lets take a look at an example of this effect as it
would play out in the case of masturbation, and how it
can harm us in later life.

It is common for most people to start exploring
masturbation during the teen years of our development,
meaning that in most cases we are at school when we
start to masturbate. Being at such a young age, it is very
rare for people to feel comfortable talking about their
experiences and discussing techniques and problems as
such. This often means that the technique that we
develop when we are teenagers is the technique we use
for many years.

Now, being a teenager, and performing masturbation, is
usually an act that is done for one simple purpose, being
the pursuit of pleasure, the desire to feel climax from
ejaculation. For this reason, it is very common for
teenagers to masturbate as fast as they can to get to
that climax feeling as fast as possible, both for the
feeling of pleasure, and often, also to get the act
performed without being caught by anyone.

So over the years we go on masturbating as fast as
possible and as such, do not realize that we are teaching
our bodies to climax as quickly as possible. This is one of the major factors towards male sexual problems in
recent times, and more specifically, Premature
Ejaculation.

So in conclusion, No, there are no immediate harmful
effects of masturbation, as long as it is performed in
moderation with enough healing time between acts, and
that we are using healthy techniques that will help us to
maintain a strong healthy libido and endurance level in
later years of our life.

2 TYPES OF ABORTION.

According to the American Heritage
Dictionary, "an abortion is the procedure of
termination of pregnancy and expulsion of a
fetus or an embryo that is incapable of
survival. Abortion is known to be any of
these procedures that results in the
termination and expulsion. Although this
seems to be very insufficient statement for
abortion but if we think morally, legally or
politically then this topic is quite volatile.

Definition of abortion also includes the
terms such as miscarriage or spontaneous
abortion along with the normal induced
abortion.
When the body of a women rejects
the fetus or embryo due to any reason, it is
known as spontaneous abortion. Mother
does not have any control over this
accidental process. Reason behind
spontaneous abortion depends on the
factor when does miscarriage occurs. In most
of the cases, spontaneous abortion
happens due to abnormalities of an embryo
in the first two weeks of pregnancy. It there is
a problem in the mothers body due to
emotional difficulties, uterine or cervical
irregularities, endocrine system disease,
diabetes mellitus or hypothyroidism; then
spontaneous abortion may occur in the
second or third trimesters.

In some cases, embryo is not recognized by the immune
system of the mother and expels it considering it to be a foreign tissue.
The percentage of miscarriage is only found to be
in 20% of the cases.

Induced abortion is known as the most
common definition of abortion. It is done
with the will of the woman who wants
abortion.

Although there may be multitude
of reasons for induced abortion but mainly it
is of two types.

Therapeutic abortion is not considered to
be the primary definition of abortion but is
very prominent in such cases and is
conducted for various medical reasons.
Usually such type of therapeutic abortion is
underdone when the doctor diagnose that
pregnancy or birth could result in danger to
the life of the patient. This may be done to
avoid risk for physical or mental health.

Elective abortion is an abortion which is
conducted on a woman due to her own
personal reasons. Many reasons may be
behind the decision of a woman such as,
religious concerns, cultural concerns,
immaturity and financial problems. Some
women choose elective abortion if they are
not married or are young and do not want to
disclose this to their family. Pregnancy is also
terminated by victims of sexual abuse or
assault.

Surgical and chemical are the two basic
types of induced abortion procedures.
Stage of gestation is the factor to decide the
surgical procedure. Hysterotomy, Intact
Dilation and Extraction, Dilation and
Evacuation, Dilation and Curettage, Electric
Vacuum Aspiration and Manual Vacuum
Aspiration are the basic procedures for
surgical abortion.

Due to the administration of abortifacient drugs Chemical abortions are done by early induction of labor.

becoming pregnant.

When it is fertilized, it moves into your uterus and you become

Since it is
not something you can see or that you even feel, it might take a while to find out that infertility is something you have to live with. While some women may know they are infertile after struggles with cancer, a specific surgery,or another condition, most simply do not know until they see their doctor regarding the inability to conceive.

This is. a sign that you should consult with your doctor for
further testing.

Treating infertility issues in both men and women is
possible with the help of a medical professional. While
not all infertility issues are curable or even treatable,
many couples who face infertility are able to go on and
conceive a child of their own after one of the many forms of fertility treatment available today. For those who cannot conceive even after fertility treatments, otheroptions are available.
