When did it become the responsibility of the Army to ban the sale of petroleum products in containers? Aren't there regulatory agencies to see to this? They have left their work and encroaching on that of others. They have no right whatsoever to ban the sale of any petroleum product in any state when DPR, the state and federal governments exist. This is one of the reasons why things are bad in this country. |

In a sane country, the head of the fire agency in that area would be queried and anyone responsible for the incompetence could be fired. But in Nigeria, anything goes. Investigate the cause of this incident and you would be shocked by the result. |

They just blocked the road around Eagle Square and Finance Bridge this morning in the name of democracy celebrations. Around Kugbo area the soldiers are doing one useless 'stop and walk through' thereby causing traffic jam along the Abuja-Keffi express road. Many Nigerians do not even care if celebrations are on going because as far as they are concerned this government is useless to them. |

This man rules a country that was torn apart by genocide. This man rules a country that does not have as much natural resources as Nigeria This man rules a country that is poorer than Nigeria. In Nigeria there are at least 2 presidents and yet they cannot reason well because of greed, avarice and the desire to hold on to power at all cost. My problem is with my people the masses. We are too docile and selfish and find it hard to hold our political leaders accountable. We are resting on our oars not knowing that the future of our unborn children in this country is more than bleak. They claim to fight corruption but the country is becoming a looting basket for all. Well, welcome to another four years of hardship, nepotism and further economic downturn |

Goztino: GOZTINO'S TRANSCRIPT
Before sharing this transcript, I would like to appeal to all of you. 1. Make sure you are close to German embassy a day before the interview date, Lagos always have traffic which might delay you and when you arrive late, you will not be allowed to enter for your interview. 2. If you are a JJC in Lagos like me, make sure you ask for directions very well or go with the person you are staying with so that you won't waste time unnecessarily on the road. 3. Ask questions when you are confused on the bus to take, lagosians are always willing to direct you. 4. A day before your interview date, check your documents properly and make sure its complete... Each document should have two copies each and also hold #30,500, otherwise you will be bounced. 5. When Paulinus will be checking your documents, mind your business and don't try to assist other people that will be confused behind you, I nearly got bounced because of that.
I left by 4:30am and arrived by 7:10am few minutes before Paulinus stopped admitting those for 7am.
Back to the interview section. I arrived around 7:10am after almost crying on the road due to traffic and even paying for drop from Obalande. On getting to the embassy, I saw the man Paulinus shouting here and there and sending some people back at the back for being unorganized as he used to say. VO: What's your name? VO: Why are you going to Germany? VO: Why this course? VO: Why Germany? VO: Why not English speaking countries? VO: Why not Nigeria? VO: Tell me about the city your school is located and everything you know about Germany. As I was still on it, he was typing some stuffs and at a point asked me to stop VO: What do you intend to do after your studies? Goztino: I want to come back to Nigeria and use the practical experience I will acquire in Germany to establish my own Geoscience firm here and become a Geoscience consultant. VO: Don't you want to work in Oil and gas companies? Goztino: I would start my own firm and employ other graduates in other to help towards the industrialization and creation of employment in my country, Nigeria. VO: Why not start the firm now and employ the graduates now? Goztino: I would have loved to but I don't have enough practical skills and experience yet VO: Alright, that will be all. Do you have any question for me? Goztino: No sir. 100000000 likes |

History always repeats itself. The British and their allies have always been against the progress of Nigeria, using indigenous elements fuelled by greed and avarice to truncate the progress of the oil-rich territory. Truth be told, they have always found willing tools of northern extraction to exert their toxic influence. This is still happening today with the imposition of a foreign fraud in the name of a president but we are too scared to speak out. They are very aware of it but since it favours them and suppresses the future of the country, they are satisfied. Who then, will bell the cat? |
