Why didn't you talk about the appointments made by Buhari so far? You were silent only to come here to talk about hijab. Do you know the reason behind the hijab ban? If you don't, then you must be dumb.
You talk about Islamisation, it will eventually come, in your village and family members slaughtered and burnt. It's coming, ask people from Plateau and Kogi states. |

dearpreye: I'm sorry brother but nothing can change a building whose foundation is fraudulent and intended ab initio to fail. It's not a nation but a business venture.
Prayers don't build nations; only truth does. This is the very reason I don't believe in Nigeria. You hit the bullseye. |

jstbeinhonest: Wrong bro wrong, what is the diff between the percentage of english speaking igbos and english speaking yorubas, very little.Mind you yorubas have more literates in foreign languages. You won't believe it but Youth corpers from other parts of the country struggle to teach in most secondary schools in Yorubaland because of the inability of the students to understand english language. Now add millions of touts that didn't go to school, then you'll get the sense of how grave the situation is in Yorubaland. |

nwanlecha: You probably take more pride in English, well I don't. And as for how many Igbo movies I've watched, they are so many of them that I've even lost count. If there's BBC Igbo service, I'll definitely listen to it & I am sure there are so many others like me. Good for you. Well, the British will not waste money to transmit in Igbo when more than 85% Igbos understand English. By the way, I don't take pride in English language one bit, as far as I am concerned, Igbo should be an official language in Igboland. |

nwanlecha: Listen, it's a shame that your measure of literacy is dependent on how well you speak another man's language. If Yoruba language has truly been added to BBC service, it's a good thing and I will advocate for Igbo language to be added too, 'cus that is one of the ways to establish your language as a major international language. If they broadcast in Igbo, would you listen to it? How many Igbo language movies have you watched? Or do you think the British are dumb? If you want your language to become international, get Biafra and make Igbo an official language. As of now, we are English speakers. |

IlekeHD: Igbos can only be added once the language stops dying
Extinct languages in Nigeria : Igbo LMAO! You know I got you there. |
Politics › Re: BBC To Launch Pidgin And Yoruba Service by Obiagu1(m): 10:53pm On Nov 23, 2015 |
nwanlecha: Look 'am always happy when African languages are recognized on the international stage. But on the other hand, you and so many Yorubas on here are behaving rather childish by ridiculing the Igbo Language just because you feel your language has been recognized. How about the Hausa service that has been there for ages. Igbo may not have been added now but you and I know that it will definitely be added at some point 'cus we are a major African group too. And by the way, Igbo language is not dying it is very much alive. I don't know why y'all derive joy in peddling lies about anything Igbo. Igbo can only be added when we become as illiterate as the Hausa and Yoruba. or if we get Biafra and Igbo becomes an official language. |

IlekeHD: Yes they are.
Do you know several european countries now have Yorubas in their curriculum? Yoruba language classes. And more than 47 USA universities teaches Yoruba.
So once again, why should BBCAfrica ignore Yoruba?
More than 47 USA universities. Girl stop! Simple google or wiki can help you. Stop spinning what's obvious. Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba are not and never have been official languages in Nigeria. |
