PoliticsRe: Why We Must Support Biafra by Obiagu1(m):
warripekin:
Please you can tone down your insults. We asked for upwards of 30% or more at the constitutional conferences held by OBJ and GEJ but we found out it was not going to work. As someone privy to the last national conference, the little we achieved was ably supported by the south east then then south west but northerners were vehemently in opposition. I believe we should aline with the south east and fight for a just course but to achieve that, we must define the tenets of our struggle together besides, most of us in delta state will rather form an alliance with Edo, and illages in ondo state and get our own country. Let's say Bendel republic. From some of the meetings we attended in the port Harcourt on the lower Niger area, I got to find out that most ethnic groups especially the igboid once would rather be Biafra than Niger delta republic should the case arise. Infact, an Ogoja man says he understands and buds well with ebonyi and efik people than an Itskeri like my self and therefore he would rather be Biafran. But those of us here in delta south is afraid of Igbo dominance in a Biafran state. But I believe in building alliances for survival. The Niger delta as it were has no voice or direction yet. But we are watching
I insulted no one. I was being point blank.
It is as it is.

Let me address a few things and you actually stated it in your post.

There is nothing like Niger Delta. Like you said, an Ogoja man has no connection whatsoever with an Urhobo and would not be part of that mirage called NigerDelta.
Infact, like I said earlier, SS lack wisdom. If you guys are clever enough, you would realise that the Igbo is, in fact, the unifying ethnic group in the lower Niger. Igbo has border and relationship with almost every ethinic group in lower Niger. Without the Igbo, you have no connection with an Ogoja man. Think!

Secondly, almost every nation created recently in the world was created out of a known border. Nobody recognizes your NigerDelta nor your Benin Republic.
It's only Biafra that is recognised.
You CANNOT be created unless you break out with Biafra.
Another option you have is to remain in Nigeria.

Thirdly, how could the Igbo dominate when the whole Igboland would be a single province just much as Ogoni as a province? You have your 100% resource control. The population of the people in Nigerdelta is almost equal to that of the Igbo and cancels each other out.
So just tell me and be honest, where do you foresee domination?
PoliticsRe: Why We Must Support Biafra by Obiagu1(m):
People get wiser as they grow old.
If there's any growth intellectually in the SS, they should have learnt one thing or another from Nigeria and dangers the future portends.

You have asked for resource control for over how many years now, asking from people that should not, in the first place, be in control of your destiny and your resources.

Unfortunately, there seem to be no wisdom in the SS.
How many of them know how long Nigerian oil are meant to last? If they do, they will know they don't have time. It's either they make full use of their resources now or suffer down the line.

You are asking for 30% from an Hausa man when you can get 100% from Biafra.
There's no wisdom, there is none.

Rather than grow old and get wiser, SS people grow old and get dumber.

PoliticsRe: Biafra And The Yearnings Of The Niger Delta by Obiagu1(m):
Every Oil reserve has expiry date.
Ask why some major oil companies pulled out of Nigeria.

You can keep asking Northerners for resource control when you could get 100% control of your resources if you use your brains!
Karma will deal with you all in 50 years time if you fail to utilize the 13% you have now.

Like I keep saying, delusion is a sickness.

This is the condition of living in many SS states unfortunately, when they should be like Dubai in a Biafra Republic.
PoliticsAn Extreme Last Resort To Create Biafra by Obiagu1(op): 9:48am On Nov 11, 2015
Using basic laws.
1) A country exists if there's law and order.
2) An army can only fight a war against another army or an armed group.

Using these two basic laws, Biafrans can create Biafra by collapsing Nigerian authority in Biafra land.

How can this be done?

Do you remember how Berlin wall fell?

Pick a two weeks period for this to happen.
Stockpile canned food and water.
Mobilize the people stating clearing the plan and intensions.

If every man and woman in Biafra come out in a day at same hour and move round the cities and towns, Biafra will be created.
As they match in millions at same time across Biafra, every symbol of Nigeria will be removed and replaced with Biafra symbols.
Police stations will be ransacked and every Nigeria police man asked to go home.
Every army barrack will be ransacked and the army asked to go home.

If every Nigeria symbol is removed from Biafra by civilians, Nigerian government will lose control of Biafra.

There is as many unharmed civilians you can shoot at and you'll give up.

Where is the N5000 promise?
Is that one going to be fulfilled when you come back 30 years time?

one more thing that we plead from Buhari is to sight some of the refineries planned for Nigeria in imo state, as we are also part of the Niger delta and it would help us give him more support and in so doing create job for Imo people and Nigerians as a whole.

Hold it right there. Edo has a respectable monachy and Republican Biafra won't temper with that. The only Biafrans in Edo are the Igbanke(Igboakri).
The greatest resistance against Biafra in the 'SS' is coming from that axis. Let's use from that axis. Monarchical Bini will never be part of Biafra, but we will support them, if they decide to restore their independent Kingdom of Benin as it was before the lugardian curse happened upon them and everyone.
Whatever, but I think the powers of the Oba of Benin have waned so he would not be overbearing on the citizenry.

ekafine:
only on one basis shall we support biafra agitation. if the the capital of the new biafra is sited in akwa-ibom or cross-river then the possibility of achieving biafra is 85% done. we have the capacity to produce resources to build a biafra that will stand dubai and asian tigers. we have the resources to place the new biafra on the world map to sit side by side with the 8 most industrialized developed countries of the world. we have done it in akwa-ibom with our resources and we shall replicate it in the larger biafra territory. uyo shall be the capital of the new biafra republic.
If you think blackmail is preferable to negotiation, then you can take your support and shove it inside there!

Nonsense.

Remain in Nigeria, the Fulani will soon turn your farmlands to grazing field and your families massacred for complaining.

A little boundary adjustment will be permitted here and there but not wholesome exclusion of Edo.

smh..abeg forget Edo or edoid groups as there is no way they will be in this Biafra thing 1906 or not.
You can go through the old world map and see the boundaries of all the countries created out of Soviet union or check South Sudan or Eritrea or Singapore.
All along long known and recognizable boarders.

Unfortunately, Edo cannot be part of Biafra only after Biafra creation and they are allowed to leave if they choose to.

Reality sometimes is hard to accept.
PoliticsRe: Biafra: Proposed Constitional Provisions by Obiagu1(m): 7:07pm On Nov 08, 2015
asha80:
Edo province?
Yes, Edo Province.

Edo is part of Biafra if we go with 1906 map. If we exclude Edo, we might lose Delta Igbos as well because they are not part of 1960 map of Biafra.

Biafra can only be created along internationally recognised boundary and only 2 such boundaries exist.
PoliticsRe: Biafra: Proposed Constitional Provisions by Obiagu1(m): 6:59pm On Nov 08, 2015
Xetima:
Structuring provinces as suggested may not be very possible as many places have already become mixed. Some places in River and Delta have mix of different tribes. This informed my suggestion on reverting to the provinces before states were created to bilkanise us. Anyway, this would be determined post federation is achieved.
Reverting to provinces prior to state creation would give us too many provinces similar to what we have in Nigeria.
Many of those provinces are not economically viable and will collapse with resource control.

Rivers know their boundary between Igboid, Ijoid and Ogoni groups.
Delta know their boundary between Edoid, Ijoid and Igboid groups.

Being structured ethically does not mean one ethnic resides there but as a nation, we'll have free movement of people and there will still be mixing after all.
