Kyrian5: Joking apart, why is german embassy not given appointment to category B this is not fair I think this issue need to be looked into. But anyways let's still remain optimistic we don't know what might happen after the lockdown is over in March. DONT JUST GIVE UP KEEP HOPE HIGH. It's just simple Politics. See eh, I believe everyone attempting this German movement is mature enough. There are guidelines that the German Consulate put up in their website for applicants. I believe each individual should be able to use his/her discretion in finalizing certain decisions. If your mind tell you Cat A, apply if not go for Cat B.
I don't understand how grown up individuals always turn this thread into FIGHT everytime. Do what your heart tells you and bear the consequence |

MartOkoh1: This group has been amazing. I have a BSc of 4.35 Cgpa a 2:1 certificate dated Nov 2016. Im doing an MSc TU Dresden online since october last year, almost done with first semester. I applied for visa may last year under category B and had to reapply again on 1st October last year but till now no AD. Any advice on what to do?cause waiting constantly seems to be not productive. Waohh!! I'm very curious how you manage to cope with the online studies. I also got admission in the same school and they gave me the option of online class but I couldn't go ahead with it |

Nzesinachi1: No! The thing is that everyone claims to know of someone that was bounced. Please, I need to hear from someone that was bounced. There is no way the embassy would give people AD and still bounce them. People can be fond of saying that friends of theirs did this, that. This bolded line is too damn funny. See ehh, Oga Paulinus can bounce you for any small thing. Just acting clumsy can have you rejected at the gate |

SpaceXY: I currently do not have IELTS. I will check the stated University. Thank you.
Would you advice I take the IELTS?? Well, IELTS gives you the luxury of being able to apply to multiple schools. I have a friend doing that particular course I recommended and IELTS is the extra requirement that got him the admission |

Iceberry0001: To tell u guys we are not the only country facing this issue of no AD, but look at the steps taken in other to get AD, I tell u if we don't do the same things will remain the way they are. Iran, Nigeria are all in the same group of countries with internal instability from ARMED GROUPS. I keep reiterating that it's all politics, Ghana and Benin don't have these kinda problems. Make una tell your own Government to end insurgency and see if these countries don't give you better response |

Sykodo: Sorry for replying this late. Been busy offline for days now. The course coordinator referred to in your post is that of the university I'm applying to, right? If so, how do I get their emails.
Sorry for asking these questions, I'm just starting to follow this thread and the whole process, still on page 15. I'm wet behind the ears so I have a lot to learn. Yes, the course coordinator of the school you are applying to. Either Check on the daad site or you can directly visit the school website. |

Is it our population or the fact that our Covid-19 figures cannot be trusted?
NB: Don't even think of going there to apply. A friend told me it's just a waste of time and money if you are not a 'legal' residence. Everything is in French by the way. It's simple Politics. They see how your Government handles terrorism matters and they don't want to be associated with much of y'all. They Simply streamline to the best Candidates |

Sykodo: The one I'm talking of is the English proficiency certificate they get from university's registrar which can be used as a substitute for the English proficiency exams. I don't want the English exam route when I decide to apply Then you have to send mails to your course coordinator to be sure they accept EPL for their admissions |

Nedusnap: I and my secondary school classmate started the journey to travel to Germany for study purposes in 2017. I was already enrolled to a masters programme im Nigeria then, so I thought I should complete it before moving to Germany. FFWD —> I supported my friend to travel and promised myself I will walk in his steps the ff year. So in 2018, forced by circumstances, I made the decision, prayed to God about it and He marvellously made a way. My decision brought me to Nairaland where I got lots of help from this community of fellow education sojourners. My Bad, I did not return the favor of giving back like others do. So that is the goal of this post- to give back in the form of good counsels which what I have learnt from my experience so far. I hope this helps:
I wish you a successful application and hope you join us here in Germany, hopefully when the border opens up again.
Don’t forget to return back to the community and don’t forget God in this journey. Bye for now. This is my paddy man in whom I am well pleased. HALLELUJAH you came back to help others bro. Na this same guy I dey him back when I dey try run my own too. I so much thank God for you bro |

HighPriest0: You are right. Germany is nothing without Immigrants. It will never stop accepting Immigrants because 50-70 percent of the work force is Immigrants. The issue isn't about Germany accepting immigrants, it's about Germany accepting "Nigerian based immigrants". USA just tagged Nigeria as a nation with religious intolerance. Most Western nations take cue from USA for their foreign Policies. It's always been about Politics and International Interests. And right now, Nigeria has a bad reputation internationally. Your blame should be on your Government for always handling things poorly |

tosinhtml: Come off with this mindset, no country survives without immigrants. Who is going to do those jobs citizens don't want to do? Menial jobs, construction, Nursing & even programming jobs, Going to study in Germany shows that you are actually impacting their country with Skill & knowledge, Immigrants work their ass off & also pay 40% or more taxes to their country. We work like rugrats, 60 hours per week for some just to earn a living & pay their taxes.
My point is: They need us as much as we need them. 50/50. What I'm saying is Such services are easily replaceable. They can pack such migrants from India & rest of Asia. No one will see the kind of response our government are giving towards bandits and not think twice towards accepting us, It's simple politics. At least you can see Nigerians from other countries are applying and getting entry easily |

charliesyndrom: It's like u r in CAT A, how can u call German process simple? After all we r passing through. Have u gotten date? Or u r in Germany already. Unless u r referring to depositing to the German blocked account only as simple. But the overall process isn't simple To be honest, German process is very straightforward compared to other migration process. Apart from issues of this year, one had a reasonable chance of moving as long as you meet all the requirements |

ExchangA: Good idea. But bro. Let’s be honest, Germany is relatively cheapest. The blocked account isn’t for anyone but yourself when you’re in Deutschland. Unlike other places where you pay fees, this and that. Even the visa process is relatively cheaper. However, if anyone knows an idea of a place that’s as cheap or cheaper than Germany pls don’t hesitate to share info. Thank you. GBAM!!! This is just the plain fact. I remember when I heard about the movement in late 2018, my head wanted to scatter. A whole EU number 1 NATION, I never knew such high quality opportunity was possible with such relative cheap cost. I no waste time to run the process last year, every step I took was learnt from this thread. I did get my AM but just that I wasn't able to gather enough funds for my BA & my SL link wasn't strong. |

Tried surfing the web to find courses like Nursing, Physiotherapy, Dentistry etc all to no avail. Mind sharing any other outlet where I may get these courses. Been trying for close to two weeks now. I'm not 100% sure but I think I've read that it's difficult to find Medical Related courses in English language. They're usually taught in German |

GreatMage: Stop being hash... It hurts But it's true. The pages are filling up fast because of such repetitive questions and people's motivations are wavering. At this rate, we'll have to beg the MOD to open a new page soon. We are really hoping things gets back to normal & Germany remembers us. If y'all aren't aware with current affairs, International Migration is at a shaky point and we just have to stay optimistic and keep faith that these people reconsiders because Truth be told, they don't owe us sh*t. |
