Deustchemann: You can. Immediately they get your documents, the processing will start. So as I'm pairing up to post to UniAssist, how are we gonna address the main envelope since there're different school? |

dukeokafor: After you've made all your applications. Go to "Pay" on the Uni-assist page. You'd see three modes of payment.
3D Secure Credit Card Transfer
Sofortuberweisung
Bank Transfer
Tick the "Pay" box
Then what you should click afterwards is the "3D Secure Credit Card Transfer"
Tick Agree on the terms and conditions bla bla bla

Goodmorning house. Please while sending hardcopy documents to UniAssist, does it mean I can only send documents for one particular school? Like how can I for example separate the "motivation letters" for 2 different schools while sending through UniAssist? |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by obibanks: 7:49am On Apr 02, 2019 |
Eldeee: Congratulations in advance. Kindly go through some interview transcripts in part five, guess you will find it more there as this will further enhance your preparations.
Hope your motivation letter is good enough, some persons here have received rejections from the consulate based on this as they couldn't establish a connection as regards their study purpose.
Make sure you have every document requested, original and two or three photocopies at least, otherwise those guys who do business at the park will have a good day doing business with you.
Go with some extra cash, visa fee do fluctuate with changes in forex. The passport is the normal passport size ie 35mm by 45mm, usually on a white background with your face covering two third of the entire passport size.
You don't need to get any letter of employment as long as your intended purpose is studying. There is also no format for the CV. Just make sure you indicate you have not been idle all the while till present. Your motivation should be handwritten by you of course with legible letters, you just have to try to make it legible so that they can easily access the contents of your letter. Don't give room to chance, what if you are asked to rewrite your letter in the presence of the visa officer, though it somehow rare, but you know when village people want do something, e get as e dey be. Ask further questions where you find confusing issues. Make sure you are punctual pls.
All the very best. Is this motivation letter same with the one you use to apply for admission or a different topic? |

Champion100: I have four courses that I have already applied to through uni-assist including Information Engineering.
I only need additional BSc courses that are not under uniassist which I can also apply to (English taught ooo)

Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by obibanks: 1:45pm On Mar 04, 2019 |
Deustchemann: Definitely. The application cost is for Uni-assist alone. It's used to process your application. It's left to you to use any mode of courier to send certified copies of your documents to them. If you like use NIPOST, DHL, FedEx, EMS or UPS. Just make sure it gets to them on or before the deadline But I can send certified hard copies for application to 3 different schools and courses through one courier post to Uniassist? |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by obibanks: 12:44pm On Mar 04, 2019 |
Deustchemann: If you can't find them from daad, extend your search to mastersportal, or just search out on Google. I'm sure you'll get one.. You can also extend your search to related courses. It's the Uniassist stuff that I'm trying to avoid. Checked DAAD but further research into schools indicates Uniassist. The thing dey break man's heart |

Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by obibanks: 7:39am On Mar 02, 2019 |
Deustchemann: They pair up to post their hard copies via courier to Uni-assist. Since it's the same postal address, they can merge together and split the cost. It makes it easier. But the application fee is paid by each candidate on his own So the application cost is different from courier posting cost to Uniassist? |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by obibanks: 7:35pm On Mar 01, 2019 |
Deustchemann: No bro. First application is €75, subsequent ones are €30 each. Even if it's the same school and different courses, you'll pay for each of them. Unless you find a school and program that makes Uni-assist application free for applicants So all these prospective students that are looking for who to pair up with, what does it mean? |

turfff: As a Developer you need to be prudent with your time!
If you're just starting out learning, I strongly advice choosing udemy and udacity over others... it would save you alot of wasted time.
while Udemy course price are affordable ($9.99 - $19.99), Udacity Nano degree programmes are quite expensive ($999 - $2000). With udacity you would be learning at a sophisticated level from tech companies at the fore front of innovations, also prevy to carreer guide and employment oppurtunites. Udacity also offer some schorlarship programs which you can lookout for.
Another programe that I feel in my opinion is close to Udacity in terms of Certification is Microsoft's Web Professional Programe offered on EdX. Unlike the Udacity Nano Degree Programme, Microsoft's programme offer a series of Dev courses on EdX which are free to access. each course certification cost $99 while the full Programe Certification cost $1500.
I could go into more specifications about the pros and cons of each platform but I would rather keep my comment this much precise
Also before you make your decision, make time to read this book: (I passionatly advice you do not skip these book, make it your compass)
Front-End Master HandBook https://github.com/FrontendMasters/front-end-handbook-2018
After reading this book, should you decide Udemy is the way to go and I think you should if you're considering your expencies. Make Udemy your advanced youtube.
A little heads up though! take time to sift through course curriculums to see what exactly you would be getting outta a course before paying...
believe me I've got burnt a few times...
some tutors would try to teach you fundamentals of most aspect of web-engineering without going too deep.
Here are a three reliable tutors I follow on Discord who have manage to build a large dev community outter their udemy courses:
Colt Steele https://www.udemy.com/the-advanced-web-developer-bootcamp/
Andrei Neagoi https://www.udemy.com/the-complete-junior-to-senior-web-developer-roadmap/
Jonas Schmidtmann https://www.udemy.com/advanced-css-and-sass/
On a final Note.
if you really are looking for quality course material to study web development in 2019 and don't have enough money to get you through... i commensurate with you
I recently just completed React Developer Course on Udacity, during the course period, i took the chance to ask other course mates if anyone had taken some related Udacity Nano programmes and was willing to share their resources.
It took a while to get some help but I got quite a few positive feedbacks. I got access to some bunch of courses I may not even take...
