I've always been a fan of Honda. So for mid range vehicles, I can call it home.

This problem sounds like something to do with the air temp sensor inside the car. Your HVAC works based on based on a feedback loop to tell the compressor to pump more or less refrigerant depending on the temperature in the cabin and your selected temperature. When the sensor fails, it will falsely tell the compressor that it should pump less refrigerant as the desired cabin temperature has been reached.
There's a duty cycle solenoid inside the compressor that changes the angle of the swashplate for less or more stroke depending on whether it is demanded to pump less or more refrigerant respectively. Before I start to suspect the solenoid, I would start with this temp sensor mentioned. There's another temp sensor sitting on the condenser but this rarely fails.

What you can do by yourself is to locate the sensor. Check if there's dirt or debris covering it. Clean it and see if there will be any improvement.
Please ensure to bring feedback to the group for someone else to benefit from your experience.

Thanks,

AutoJando

If you know the story you won't give me this advise. I spent a month at the pyscharitic hospital two years ago because of a toxic and very manipulative wife who sadly I love. However, this time I am sticking to my guns until she changed, it has been 8 months I left home and have zero intention of return back until she shows remorseful and makes effort to change.

However, my duty as a father will never be neglected. I understand it is not always about money and I have never taken it to be about money but right now, the only thing I can do is spend money whilst hoping there will be a change.

Get another woman or wife brother. Honestly.

I have been abroad for a while now and i am curious to know why some of our ladies decline dating or marrying fellow Nigerians in the diaspora. I have tried to date a few any they are often quick to assume i am after them for their papers while i just prefer my own, someone who understands my culture and where i have come from. Even when i try to date the ones that don't have paper, regular work visa holders like me. They seem to want to be with the guys that have papers.

Also, when i am old, i would like to return to Nigeria. Marrying outside would make that transition very difficult.

I study other races, Immigrant groups from India and Asia. they work together well, and don't have these difficulty.

Should i give up on being with a Nigerian or keep trying ?

Regards.

Search for the book "The capitalist Nigga" . It will throw you into the mindset behind this in parts

1. The steering assembly is faulty you will need to inspect find the culprit and fix

2. The compressor in the vehicle may be the manual type

3. If nah lagos plate you will pay for those years you didn't renew so put in mind to get a new plate in ur name.

Above all your mechanic should tell you cost to fix all the problems you see and advice you accordingly on a fair price to pay for the vehicle

It's a Lagos plate. But I am in abuja. So is the car.

Vibration and force feedback from pedal when brake is applied means you need new brake rotors.

Hello boss.

I'm about this buy a car. Noticed a few things.

1. The steering isnt smooth enough. Has a stiff turn. I won't enjoy driving it this way atall. I'm used to light steering and easy turning of the wheel.

2. The AC really pulls at the engine especially when moving from a stop.

This is a Honda Accord 2009.

I understand I'm buying a Nigerian used car and it won't be nearly 100% perfect. But are this things fixable and not cause regret if I proceed further to purchase the car.

Also noticed the vehicle paper has expired way back in 2016 (same time the custom duty was done). According to the dealer, the person has been using the car in the core north (where all this uniform people don't trouble them) so didn't see need to renew the vehicle papers. What do you think ?

Appreciate your thought on this too

Stop the illiterate talk, car makers don't manufacture parts, it's impossible, they depend on vendors and suppliers.

Toyota doesn't even manufacture their engines, it's done by outside vendors.

CAR MANUFACTURING IS THE EXACT SAME THING AS CAR ASSEMBLY.

ZERO DIFFERENCE.

IN THE USA CAR MANUFACTURING PLANTS ARE CALLED CAR ASSEMBLY PLANTS.

IT IS ONLY IN NIGERIA THAT PEOPLE THINK THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MANUFACTURING AND ASSEMBLY.

Read their blueprint. Most of their parts aren't manufactured here. Same for Nord.

Only Innoson has achieved 70% raw materials till date.

We need all their materials to be locally sourced for the sake of our economy. Of the thousands of minerals in the world we are blessed with quite a substantial amout of the highly sort after ones globally.

We need to convert them and make use of them in cases like this.

It is left for the UK to be proactive and be watchful because this Islamic people are very cunning.
Their mantra is if dominate and conquer just like the Fulani did in Ilorin. And what the Fulani and by Extension the Boko Haram are doing now in some part of the north

Especially Turkey and Lebanon more recently, then far off in history are Egypt, Afghanistan etc. You'd think this countries were Islamic countries. Research deep into their history, none were traditional Muslims.

France is gone already. They can't even keep them in check anymore. Next is UK, then Germany. Majority of Europe will be conquer in the distant future.

It's too little, too late! The UK has always been a supporter and cheer leader for Islamic terrorists. A case in point is Nigeria. It is totally in support of the Fulani terrorists' mayhem in Nigeria and their bid to take over the country. My hope is that those terrorists that you have supported and cuddled for decades would pay you back in your own coin!
