Sometimes the way to a woman is not just by words but by actions, if you offer to take care of the baby for just a day or even give her the weekend off it will make a difference. It’s great that you’re bonding with your baby but do you also bath the baby? Feed? change the diaper? Are you awake at 2.00am to feed the baby? Do you get to sleep for only 3 hours a day? Have your hormones being put through the ringer for a year?

If she’s a first time mother then you’ve to be patient she had a CS and your child is just 3 months. Also, you need to stop looking at your marital sex from a perspective of its only your right to enjoy. Sex should be enjoyed by both of you and if there’s a problem why one of you isn’t then it’s your problem too.

If your wife’s happiness is your priority and not just your libido then give her a day, a weekend off, or however long her CS scar will heal. Tell her to take time off to take care of herself, let her take a break and she will come back to you fully recharged.

Ideally, you shouldn’t even be thinking about sex, she had a CS just three months ago!!!

Hi Guys,

I am currently putting up a four flat storey building in warri and my architect who designed the building charged  an additional N300k for the supervision to decking level. Though there was some structural problems during the first phase( i.e to decking level), I must admit all went well. The decking should be completed in October after the rains. Now I need to renegotiate the fees from decking to roofing, how much do you guys think should be appropriate for the second phase; do I still need the architect or should I just rely on the site engineer or builder? Your experience and professional input will be highly appreciated.

Why would you have an architect supervise your project? Every professional plays a role in the built industry. The architect designs for aesthetics, the engineer designs for safety, the builder brings the design to reality. Stop all this things you guys are doing in Nigeria.

I was offered employment very recently, during the interview a lady came out and was complaining bitterly about how the lady who interviewed her kept asking questions about the current state of the Economy and Real Estate in the country "How could she ask me that" she said, "what's my business with the Economy" I looked at her in Awe, I tried to tell her, you're supposed to know these things, they're basic knowledge open to interpretation and expansions.

Needless to say, when it was my turn after the pleasantries of self-introductions, I was asked what is the current political state of the country? What is the current state of the Economy? What is the current state of Real Estate in the Country? I do not want to tooth my horn but I didn’t study politics and International relations for nothing, I floored those questions, met with management, answered their questions, although I told them I would love to grow and be groomed at the company while achieving profitable results, when I got my offer for employment it was way better than what I applied for.

Truth is our generation is not a reading generation, I love movies too, I like to have fun but if they’re gonna bomb the Iran or North Korea tomorrow I want to be in the know, I want to tell others about it, Information is POWER! Information is KEY!

A. The foundation for bungalow is not as critical as that for a storey building. In as much as I don't know the sub soil situation, I will also be interested in determining the suitable compound level for the site. There was this Joint Venture our company wanted to embark upon at Osapa. The owner had developed two luxury blocks of flats with good foundations but without caring to find the good datum level. Therefore when Lagos state constructed the road, the road level was at the ground floor widow level of the 2 multistory buildings. Therefore just a single rainfall fills the compound like a swimming pool. It doesn't get dry before the next rainfall.
So back to your question, you can use Reinforced Wide strip foundation of short raft. The reason is to tie the entire foundation so that they act as a single unit.
I have used smaller pad foundation for bungalow due to the nature of the soil. There are things an Engineer can see by site visitation that pictures may not cover.

b. The materials are granite, Sharp sand, Cement and Water. You are add some reinforcement depending on what your Structural Engineer on Site advises.
