Guy stop this your yarn, during Atiku the VP office was very powerful an interface between the Governors and the President. Atiku had the Governors at his beck and call, an influence enough to muster for the Presidency. He had so much of that he could have been President in 2003; Baba Obj had to kneel down to plead with him. He would have been calm and strategic but no typical Atiku( apologies to El-Rufai in his book Accidental Public Servant). Obasanjo never forgave him and damaged his reputation. Atiku was the last VP with such privileges. What were the achievement of Jonathan and Sambo as VP? Jonathan was even treated as a piece of trash by Yar Adua's people. Forget all those hype, the office of the VP today is as 'useless' as the 'P' in Pyschology. If you be VP today just dey hope say your Oga go London no come back (na joke ooh).

Buhari na failure and it is on record that he has travelled severally without handing over to Osinbanjo as required by Law. Osibanjo was never a good candidate. Ameachi is miles ahead better than him. All the PDP aspirants are better than him. What experience does he have in terms of governance ? You exonerated him from the failures of the Present government by saying he has no constitutional powers, hence what responsibility has he shown? If you measure him by the yardstick you use for others, you will clearly see that he falls below any expectations.

Firstly, he did not get 95% in the SE he got 80%, the highest he got in any state in the SE was 86.6% and that was Anambra. In Abia he got 67.8%, ebony’s 72%, Enugu 84% and IMO 65%. When you add all the votes in the SE, Obi’s total was 80% of the votes! when i talk i check my facts i just dont conjur figures from the air like you people!

secondly even if he got 100% 100% of a number that makes no impact is meaningless! The gap between Atiku and Buhari in the last election was 2m, the entire vote in the whole of the SE was 1.7m so even if he got 100% it makes no difference, the final point on this issue, you have conveniently ignored which is that who else are the SE going to vote for and Jonathan got more votes in the SE than Peter Obi. In an election race you dont reward votes that are in the bag and are in no danger of going anywhere, you reward new votes because those are the votes you need to win. You guys are too daft to realise that elections are won by securing your core votes and enticing votes from your opponents
